“I’ve had Jessica do drop-ins for my kitties several times. She takes extreme care, sends me pics, turns on my tv for them and makes sure everything is turned off and secure when she leaves. Highly recommend.”

“Riann genuinely seems to love animals! She quickly picked up on each of my kittens’ personalities and even went out of her way to block off some small wires in our garage that they had been playing with—something I hadn’t even noticed. She was cheerful, dependable, and clearly attentive to their safety and well-being. I’d use her again without hesitation!”

“Sara made us feel more than secure leaving our pet in her care. Sara was even nice enough to extend our original request by a day with no heads up. We would absolutely request again!”

About: I love working with all types of animals and becoming their best friend. I would love to meet your best friend! I am a very clean person and respectable to your home. I work full time as a Business Development Manager. I am pretty open on the weekends for all day and night care and on Mondays! I will always respect your rules. Please let me know what I can do to make it as familiar to your pet as much as possible!
“Sam was amazing!! I cannot rate highly enough. We were out of the state and the updates/photos each day were the piece of mind we needed. Jackson was so loved and cared for, we can’t recommend enough! We will definitely be using Sam for any future dog sitting needs!”

“Our dog Cosmo loves Elena. She is so sweet to text me everyday and let me how he did. Since he is a puppy, she is working with him on playing fetch and fun things to burn off energy!”
“Victoria always showed up on time and ready to engage my dog! She sent reports, called out anything unusual, and practiced tricks with him. I can tell my dog had a great time!”

“Jolynn is always great with our elderly cats. Every time she has taken care of them for us she has gone above and beyond to make sure they’re well fed and properly medicated. We would not be able to travel or go on business trips without her help; it is greatly appreciated.”
“Becky is amazing!! She took such great care of my two kitties! She is very communicative, attentive, and punctual. I cannot recommend Becky enough, and will definitely be a repeat client.”

About: Hi! 🤗 thanks for checking me out! I have a ton of experience with animals! I have experience in animal hospitals and doggy daycares alike 😃 Taking care of animals is where my heart is. I’ve always had multiple animals at a time. CPR and trauma experienced. I’m available all the time currently! Which means longer walks, play in the yard, or cuddles! I walk dogs full time so don’t be shy! I can’t watch anyone in my apartment, but I can come to your home or take them out and about! My attitude changes with each animal as I learn them. Most dogs I’m pretty playful with and have a lot of high energy play, some like to just sit next to a warm body on the couch and I can do that too.
About: Growing up we have always had pets! So I would always be the one to let the dogs out potty and fill the food bowls. Along with giving them all sorts of attention! I am currently enrolled at Mott Community College in the online program therefore I will have all the time to play with your pets and make sure they are cared for! I don’t have a fenced in yard, but there is plenty of space for your dog to go for walks and have a fun time. I don’t have any dogs, just one cat who is very friendly and doesn’t mind the company.
“His Honda was great!!! She sent pictures every time she visited and our pets looked very happy!! Both our dog & cat were happy & calm when we returned!! Will 100% be asking Yushonda back if she’ll have us! -)”
“Brittany is wonderful! Rio love to spend time with her. She is very thoughtful and spend Rio’s energy before put him back on his crate. Brittany keeps me updated with everything going on, schedule and activities. I am very thankful to have her taking care of my boy once a week.”

“Rachel is always amazing with our cats and is very patient and not overwhelming with our shy one. We have special circumstances that make us leery to have friends check on them but we are never worried with Rachel and will always come back to her!”

“This was our first experience with a Rover drop-in sitter for our senior cat and Kyla put us at ease! She sent lots of photos with each visit and even a couple videos. Hendrix was a happy cat when we got home and Kyla took care to lock up and even grab the mail and a package for us. We look forward to utilizing her services again!”

“Sarah was amazing with our pup! He loves her so much and she made sure he had no accidents the whole visit. She was so great about keeping us updated on how he was doing and sending photos to keep us posted! We would totally recommend her to anyone looking for a sweet and knowledgeable pet sitter. ☺️”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Lake Fenton. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
