Where Dogs Feel at Home

I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life and was fortunate to grow up learning from my father, an experienced police K-9 trainer and handler. That lifelong experience gave me a strong understanding of canine behavior and the confidence to care for dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities. I have experience with crate training, potty training, leash training, introducing dogs to children and other animals, and managing food and toy resource guarding. My goal is to provide every dog with a safe, structured, and loving environment where they feel right at home. I offer in-home boarding for up to three (occasionally four) dogs at a time, allowing me to provide personalized care and plenty of one-on-one attention. Because I’m home throughout the day, puppies benefit from frequent potty breaks and routine reinforcement, while senior dogs receive the extra patience and care they deserve. I also offer drop-in visits for all types of pets and flexible pick-up and drop-off services for an additional $30 each way. For boarding stays longer than three days, I may request a four-hour daycare trial to help ensure we’re a great fit. Proof of current vaccinations is required for all boarding guests.

Victoria was amazing and made me feel so at ease while leaving the dogs there. They had a great time and she sent pictures and they were tired when they got home.

This was the first time my girl Nova has stayed with someone other than grandma for more than a day or two, so I was super nervous but Victoria was awesome and sent updates multiple times a day! Nova had such a great time and got all the sniffs and exercise/play time!

Victoria was absolutely amazing with our big boy Cash. She kept us updated daily, introduced him to some new doggy friends and had plenty to keep him busy in her fenced in back yard. I would highly highly recommend Victoria to everyone ❤️

Schedule

Every day is designed to be calm, engaging, and tailored to your pet’s needs. We spend time playing, enjoying supervised outdoor time, and incorporating enrichment throughout the day while balancing exercise with plenty of rest. I do my best to maintain your dog’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, medications, and any special instructions, so they feel comfortable, secure, and right at home while you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. We live on a fully fenced one-acre property where dogs have plenty of room to play, explore, and enjoy the outdoors. Because our yard is surrounded by trees and natural foliage, I require boarding dogs to be on a veterinarian-recommended tick preventative. Whether your pet is boarding or I’m visiting them in your home, I’ll care for them as if they were my own by following their routine, respecting their individual personality, and paying close attention to their body language and comfort level. I also believe it’s important to teach my children to respect animals and their boundaries. Together, we’ve created a calm, gentle home where pets are treated with patience, kindness, and lots of love.

A typical day

Every pet has a different idea of fun, so I tailor activities to their age, energy level, personality, and preferences! We spend plenty of time outdoors playing in our fully fenced yard, exploring, sniffing, and enjoying fresh air. Whether your pup loves to chase a ball, play fetch, zoom around the yard, or simply relax in the sunshine, I’m happy to follow their lead. I also love incorporating enrichment into each dog’s day to keep them mentally engaged. Depending on your pup’s interests and any dietary restrictions, we may enjoy puzzle toys, snuffle mats, frozen Kongs or treats, lick mats, bubbles, sprinklers, or our splash pad during the warmer months. My goal is to provide both physical exercise and mental stimulation so your dog goes home happy, relaxed, and fulfilled. Meal times are always kept separate and secure to ensure everyone eats only their own food and any feeding instructions are carefully followed. Throughout the day, I pay close attention to each dog’s body language and energy level, making sure they have plenty of opportunities for water, rest, and quiet time whenever they need it. One of my favorite parts of the day comes when the house quiets down during nap time and after my kids are in bed. That’s when each pup gets dedicated one-on-one time for cuddles, belly rubs, brushing (if they enjoy it), or simply relaxing together. At bedtime, dogs are welcome to sleep wherever they’re most comfortable in our home—whether that’s on a dog bed, in their crate, or curled up on the couch (just not in our beds!).

The more I know about your pet, the better I can make them feel at home! Please let me know about your dog’s daily routine, favorite activities, feeding schedule, medications, allergies, fears, quirks, and any commands or training cues they know. I also appreciate knowing how they interact with children, other dogs, and new environments. Every dog is unique, and my goal is to make their stay as comfortable, safe, and stress-free as possible by following their routine and respecting their individual personality and needs. Honesty is always appreciated! If your dog has any behavioral challenges or special needs, please let me know in advance. My goal isn’t to judge—it’s to set your pet up for a safe and successful stay.
