About: I have had pets of my own for the past 38 years, since I was 12 years old. I also have a degree in biology and chemistry and have worked in animal hospitals and zoos. My husband, Scott, has had pets all his life. We treat our pets with the love and care that family members deserve, and we take our responsibility to them very seriously. Currently, we have a 2 year old black lab who absolutely loves all other animals, and a 14 year old cat who mostly sleeps in quiet, dark places. Our dog, Rosie, is always looking for new friends and is very submissive with them. She just wants to play and snuggle! Our children are grown and help with the care of them. Our house is full of pet lovers! We are very active and love to go for hikes, and we always keep dogs on their leash on the trails. We're happy to take your doggy to the dog park, as well, if you request it. You can have total peace of mind while your pup stays with us! I currently work part time and Scott, my husband, is a teacher and has summers off. I'm home a lot during the entire year, and we're both home on weekends. We have a fenced in backyard for running around and playing fetch. We have a large house and a fenced in yard where our dog, Rosie, loves to run around or playing fetch with us. We regularly go for walks in the neighborhood and hikes in the woods or on the beach. We love to take Rosie to the dog park, but will skip it if you're not comfortable with it. Scott is a teacher and has weekends and all summer free. Stephanie works part time, mostly from home and is at home most of the time during the week and is also available weekends. We have a large fenced yard and a wonderful Labrador retriever to keep your fur baby happy! We love giving dogs love and attention! We also love to take walks if that is something your dog enjoys.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have hands on experience for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities! Growing up, my mom trained dogs professionally, which gave me early experience to dog behavior and proper pet care. Throughout high school, I regularly helped care for up to 10 dogs at a time, assisting with daily routines, exercise, feeding, and general care. I also grew up with a cat, and have always loved spending time with cats just as much as dogs. During college, I worked as a nanny for a family and was responsible for walking and caring for their two Great Danes. I work full time Monday through Friday from 8AM-5PM at the Community Mental Health in downtown Traverse City, but have some flexibility. I am available for dog walks and drop in visits for an hour any time between 12PM-2PM during the week. I am available from 5:30PM-11 PM Monday-Friday, and have open availability on Saturdays and Sundays. Your pets safety and comfort are my top priorities. I understand that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with a beloved family member is a big decision, and I take it seriously. When caring for pets in their own home, I strive to keep their normal routine as closely as possible. About: I am experienced walking and taking care of many different breeds, including a Weimaraner, Husky, German Shorthaired Pointer, Corgi, and a Chihuahua. I have also house sat for dogs, cats, and rabbits. One of the dogs I've watched had a history of seizures, so I learned how to administer their daily medication. I'm very punctual and I love animals. I've walked dogs in a lot of different weather conditions, and have no problem walking your dog regardless of what weather Michigan decides to throw at everyone. I look forward to getting some valuable time outdoors, and getting to take care of some adorable animals. I have a fairly open schedule and will do my best to accommodate clients. I am available to work early, late, and overnight as needed. I will take care of pets in their home so that they can be the most comfortable. About: Animals have always had a special place in my heart. I’m naturally nurturing and currently in school pursuing a career in nursing, so caring for others comes naturally to me.
