Rachel and Ivan were extremely communicative and made sure to keep us up to date with the daily activities! Not only did Billie love her time with Rachel and Ivan but also got along great with their resident dog. We received lots of pictures and videos that helped us feel certain that she was having a great time while we were away. Billie has quite a bit of energy and they were able to play fetch and take her for walks to help keep her active. We are so thankful for their care and would recommend and will book again!”

“Jared was wonderful on all aspects. We had some interesting travel plans that changed a couple times and Jared was very accommodating from the start. He's very communicative and friendly. Our 2 huskies stayed at his house for 5 days, he has a perfect backyard set-up for dogs, fully fenced in (huskies are escape artists) that was very secure and he seemed to let them find their spots inside as they wanted when it was time to rest. Our dogs are used to finding comfy spots around the house and Jared let them treat his home like it was what they were used to. We got picture and video updates along the way letting us know how they were doing. Jareds dog Charlie was super sweet and you can tell he loves all people and dogs, our boys loved being around him and even got one of our dogs that doesn't play/socialize much to play with him. It made us very happy with our choice to use Jared for our boarding needs, couldn't recommend him more. We've had hit or miss experiences with Rover previously, Jared is the best by far. Thank you!”

About: I’ve raised border collies most of my life, I’m great with high energy personalities. We live on 10 acres of woodland backed up to state land so there’s plenty of room for fun! I have one eight year old female border now, Aurora. She loves fetch and gets along great with other pups and cats. I understand the quirks behind dogs and can manage their varying attitudes well. I’m great with farm animals and can help out there if needed too. I don’t always bring Aurora with me, but if you’re okay with the socialization she loves the company. I’m willing to work with your schedules and give your dogs the best day to day care I can. I’ve been there too, it’s nice to know your loved ones are taken care of while you’re away. I’d like to help you out anyway I can. I work from home and my schedule is light, I have plenty of time for your dog’s outdoor physical needs and affection. We typically have a 6am potty and a 10pm potty as our first and last for the day. Our dog was crate trained as a puppy but now enjoys just as much of the furniture as we do. Your pet is welcome however they’re most comfortable. We do have an invisible fence if your pup is accustomed to one but I never leave our dog or let her out of my sight.

About: I lived with a bonded pair for over a year, and I currently have had my own alpha cat for 2.5 years now and absolutely love it! I’ve also helped watch friends and families cats, including feeding, grooming and litter care.
About: I have grown up with both cats and dogs, and then when I was able to I had two large breeds of my own for many years. Currently, we have a 2-yr old Bernese mountain dog and an older cat at home. I’m a teacher with a very open availability during summer and would love to fill it with taking care of your dogs - any breed but happy to provide confidence for high energy larger breeds. I’m a full time teacher, so while weekdays do work, it would need to be around that sort of schedule during the school year. I can provide short term care on weekdays and more intensive care on weekends. During summer months I am wide open to provide care as needed. I’m an avid runner and LOVE to be outside so I’m happy to provide short or long walks for your animal. During summer months, my availability is based largely on your needs.

I am currently without a pet, so I care for my backyard squirrels, birds, and chipmunks. I am retired with lots of time, energy, and love to care for your dear pet. I love to walk and hike, live close to the TART trail, and would enjoy the company of a furry friend. Walking trails are just outside my door, and I have space for crates and your furry friend's toys or their own special bed and blanket if preferred for their care and comfort.

About: I have had had dogs my entire life and do not have one currently. I just moved to Traverse City, have a fenced in yard and will take great care of your pets. I was work remotely so I am home all day and can care for your pet easily. They can be right by my side during conference calls :) I walk every day several times a day, so will happily take your loved one for walks and fresh air. I currently work in property management in TC! I am a native to the area and have always had a huge passion for animals and rescuing! About: I have had pets of my own for the past 38 years, since I was 12 years old. I also have a degree in biology and chemistry and have worked in animal hospitals and zoos. My husband, Scott, has had pets all his life. We treat our pets with the love and care that family members deserve, and we take our responsibility to them very seriously. Currently, we have a 2 year old black lab who absolutely loves all other animals, and a 14 year old cat who mostly sleeps in quiet, dark places. About: Since I can remember I’ve been around pets. At one point in time I had 6 dogs and 3 cats! I understand body language and an animals needs. About: I had to put down my 10 year old lab this winter. I miss having dog, but thought this would be a great way to spoil your dog and have a dog in the house again. I'm not ready for another pet just yet. I will be in charge, as I work from home. Promise lots of walks, private beach if your dog enjoys that and lots of attention. No puppies (can discuss if housebroken) and can provide for senior dogs if needs are reasonable. Thank you! I primarily work from home so your dog will never be left alone for long. I am writer, so I sit at my desk quite a bit. However, those hikes in the woods or walks around the neighborhood are necessary. I would love to have your dog join me. I will treat your dog like a part of the family. I walk, feed and give plenty of attention. You tell me the rest. I miss having our own dog and would love to take care of yours. It's not a good time to get another dog, but I know how to love and care for yours. I work from home and will handle the care of your dog.

About: While your fur baby is in my care they get quality playtime, walks and love. I treat them like they are my own. You will also get daily updates and photos. Pet sitting is my full time job. This gives me plenty of time to play or walk your dog. I'm also able to do overnight visits, stays or boarding. I have a large yard and neighborhood to take nice long walks in. I also have a dog that loves to play and get along with others.
