1. Emily H.
“Emily was prompt and her communication was outstanding. If I am back in the area, I will use her again.”
2. Alexa P.
“Meera had a great walk with Alexa today! Alexa came to my rescue when, unexpectedly, I wasn’t going to be able to exercise Meera. With almost no notice on my part, she showed up on time, communicated promptly and clearly, and was lovely with my puppers. Meera is now having a much happier day because of Alexa!”
3. Hannah B.
“Hanna was absolutely fabulous…. 5 Stars all the way”
4. Amber W.
“We recently adopted the sweetest English Setter from AC PAWS. Amber was her foster mom; this sweetest dog, Ivy, is super high energy and came from a not so great situation. Amber was so patient and loving with, Ivy. She actually continues to watch Ivy for us when we go out of town. Ivy needs lots of attention and activity, so a kennel is not ideal for her. Amber has other dogs who get along so well with Ivy and help to tire her out. I feel at ease knowing Ivy is with Amber when I am not able to be with her. I would highly recommend Amber for all of your pets needs. She is also the sweetest person I've met in a very long time!”
5. Jill B.
“Jill has a huge heart for loving animals. She has rescued several animals that otherwise wouldn't have been adopted at all, because of a physical condition, or age. She talks about her animals all the time, takes photos of them, even sends them video messages when she is away from them. Jill would be an excellent person to choose to care for your pet because of the love she shows her own pets, and any pet she comes in contact with. She understands that some animals are shy and they need time to approach her on their own; she NEVER invades space or makes an animal uncomfortable. She respects all pets and is very thorough in her care of them. And the pets all love her! She has a calming presence that the animals can sense. Jill is perfect to care for your animals!!!”
6. Julie B.
“Julie is the best!!! She is so sweet with my pup and always takes the best care of her! She is super reliable, responsible, and professional! You can also expect lots of cute pics to be sent to you while you are away :)”
7. Kathryn B.
“Kathryn really got me out of a bind as she was able to walk Maggie twice on short notice. She made sure that I was comfortable with her by taking time to come over and meet the day before. She kept me updated with pictures and I can’t recommend her enough.”
8. Molly D.
“Molly did a great job. Took Olive on long walks, sent pics and made sure my pup got her energy out while I was working. It’s nice to know while I’m working I do t have to worry because my dog is in good hands.”
9. Michelle P.
About: I have had a true love for animals since I was a little girl growing up on our farm. Animals have always been a big part of my life, whether it's my own, or caring for others, from cats up to horses and everything in between. I believe that a house is not complete without the company of a pet. And I couldn't imagine not ever having one! I currently have a lovebird, named Peaches, a German Shepherd, named Yogi Bear, an iguana, named Yoshi and 3 cats, named Bubbles, Mr. MaGoo, and Uncle Fester. I am currently in school studying to become a Veterinary technician. So as you can see animals have been and will always be a huge part of my life. I can not wait to meet yours! I work from home and do most of my schooling from home also so my availability is pretty much wide open. I am very flexible when it comes to working around others schedule. Let's just say that my pets are very spoiled and they know what to expect from me on a daily basis. I like to keep a routine as much as possible, so that they know when it's time to eat and have snacks and lots of playtime and interacting with me and others. I believe in a very clean and safe environment for them.
10. Jason L.
“Jason was really great with my 6 month old high energy puppy. Doc liked him right away. I could tell they had a lot of fun and my pup got a good amount of exercise during his walk and time in the dog park,”
11. Kara C.
“Kara was amazing when I needed a last minute dog walker. She came everyday on time and communicated when she picked Moose up and dropped him off. She even wrote notes about the walk! I could not have found a better/sweeter friend for Moose that week! Thank you Kara!”
12. Elli T.
“Very attentive!”

17. Elaina P.
About: Over the years I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes! My friends and family have relied on me to walk and care for their fur babies. I am currently working part time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your fur baby or babies! My schedule is very flexible. At my home I ensure that my dog’s water bowl is always full and everything is out of reach. On walks we spend extra time sniffing around, my dachshund loves cars for some reason. I want any animal that comes into my home to feel safe.

19. Kimberly H.
About: Hello! My name is Kim and I have been an owner and lover of dogs as far back as my memory takes me 😊 As a dog owner myself, I understand that if you find yourself searching for a sitter on Rover, that you are contemplating leaving a beloved member of your family with a stranger. My dog means the world to me so, I know how hard this decision can be. That being said, it is my priority to earn your trust upfront with transparent communication during the booking process and to provide reassurance and comfort with frequent picture/text updates during your dog’s stay with me. For me, it is not just about keeping your dog alive until you return, it is also about earning your dog’s trust through affection and attention. I will treat them no differently than I treat my own dog. I pride myself on making my home your dog’s ‘home away from home’. This is NOT a kennel. Your dog will have full access to my entire dog-friendly home. I live right in town Traverse City on a quiet street (which turns out to be quite convenient for most of my clients who are visiting from out of town). I have a completely fenced-in backyard for your pup to wander about, as well as an overflowing toy bin and their pick of any couch, chair or bed that they want to claim during their stay! If you are a Traverse City resident, I also offer dog walking or drop-ins at your home if your dog does not do well in a social setting or just simply prefers the comfort of his or her own home. Please reach out for further details or if you are interested in this service, I am happy to provide a list of references. If you have any questions or would like to learn more about me, please do not hesitate to reach out. I am also happy to host "meet and greets" prior to booking so, if you live in the Grand Traverse area and would like to meet ahead of time, let me know and we can definitely work something out! It is important to me that your dog feels instant comfort after being dropped off. I will make sure that I ask the appropriate questions during the booking process so that I know how to best care for your fur baby and follow his or her routine. My backyard is completely fenced in and I have a friendly senior beagle named Millie who hasn't met a dog she doesn't like :) I have often been told by previous clients that I have the "perfect set up" as I'm conveniently located right in town with a sizeable backyard. Thank you for stopping by! :)
