“Christina is communicative, flexible, and caring. Our dog was feeling a bit nervous in a new environment and Christina did her best to support our dog while we were away. When we picked up our dog she was happy and healthy! Thank you, Christina!”

“Lyssette kept me updated with pictures and video my whole trip. We used her our first time using rover and she did a wonderful job and my dog was very happy when she got home. We used to take my dog to boarding places but after it made her super sick last time we decided to try out rover and I’m glad we did because it was a very good experience.”

“Dogs had a great time at Tara’s. My lil chihuahua is shy and after a few days fully warmed up to get which is fantastic. Will definitely rebook next time we have vacation.”

“Isamar and Caleb took Ripley in on short notice and over the holidays, which was a huge relief. On top of that they were fantastic sitters making sure our dog was as comfortable in their home as she was ours. We received daily pictures and updates. I would highly recommend their services and hope to book them again myself.”

“Tawna and John took a very last-minute request to keep our dog overnight, which saved the day! They were communicative and accommodating. We will definitely consider them for future trips!”
“We needed a last minute sitter and Jill was able to help us out. She was so kind and our dogs felt right at home. We felt a little nervous because our older dog isn’t always the best around other dogs, but she kept them super active and busy. They were tired and happy when they returned home. Would absolutely recommend!!”

“Great experience! My dog Nova had a wonderful time at Alex’s house and I felt comfortable knowing she was being taken well care of. It was great to see photos of her playing and having fun.”

“I know my Marvel will be treated like family by Juliann, receiving lots of love, attention and stimulation. Knowing he’s being well-cared for allows me to relax when I have to be away. That peace of mind is priceless!”

“Angelica and Bruce took great care of our dog for the weekend. It was really clear from the moment they met our pup that they love dogs. They took him on tons of walks and gave him plenty of attention. We felt extremely comfortable he was in great hands and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a dogsitter in the area.”

“This is our second time leaving our Charlie with Suzanne and, again, she did a great job with him! She took good care of him and texted us daily updates with pictures while we were away. We enjoyed our vacation knowing that Charlie was in good hands with Suzanne!”

“Mitzi loved spending time with everyone. She loved playing with their pups and was happy upon my return. She got lotsa cuddles and they were flexible to her needs and habits.”

“Kristen was a god send. Our little guy can be a bit nervous. Kristen was a perfect fit for our pup. Her home is warm and inviting. Her two dogs are well cared for. She kept me updated with pictures throughout our trip. I’m so grateful we found her so we can travel with confidence in our dogs care. We will definitely be using her in the future to watch our pup.”

“Manisha is a great caretaker for our pup, Thaddeus! She always sends so many photos and videos of him having fun with her other dogs, going on walks, and chilling with the family. Will definitely continue to have Thaddeus stay with Manisha in the future.”

About: If you’re looking for a safe, loving place for your dog while you’re away, I’d love to help! I grew up surrounded by animals on a Japanese maple farm with over 20 horses and lots of dogs, both indoor and working dogs, caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities, energy levels, and training backgrounds. I am a student and only have one in-person class this term, giving me lots of availability for quality time with your pup! I live in a cute, quiet neighborhood near a park and walking trail, and I usually go for walks in the mornings and a couple miles before dinner when my partner comes home from work (weather permitting). I’d happily bring your dog along for those little adventures so they get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and stimulation. I believe mental and physical exercise is very important for all breeds! After walks and a lot of playing, I make sure to keep track of any supplements and food schedules needed (usually by setting reminders and alarms on my phone) I also know how important peace of mind is while you’re away, so I like to send regular updates and photos so you can see how your pup is doing. If you have any questions or want to chat about your dog’s specific needs, feel free to reach out. I’d love to meet you both!
“Very grateful Sherry was able to watch our dog during the Thanksgiving holiday. She was very friendly/kind, communicative and we know our Oliver was well taken care of. Definitely would rebook!”

“Jessica did a great job taking care of Daisy. The sitter we had set up backed out the day before we were set to leave. Jessica was our trip's saviour and agreed to take care of Daisy! Daisy is a rescue we brought into our lives at the end of 2019. Due to COVID we haven't been able to socialize her so I wasn't sure how well she would be with other dogs. Jessica was confident she could work with any issue that came up. Her confidence really reduced all of my stress around finding care for Daisy while we were away. Jessica sent multiple pictures everyday. Daisy got along great with the other dogs! I will definitely use Jessica again! Thank you very much!”
“Alexis and Jacob took excellent care of our dog, including addressing some of its medication needs. We felt so peaceful knowing Brodie was cared for and will definitely use them again.”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
