I do not charge my constant care rate solely because a pet is a puppy or has medical needs, as puppies already have a higher rate and medical needs are often outside of an owner’s control. If your pet’s care requirements significantly limit my ability to accept other bookings or require me to remain with them for the majority of the day, we can discuss whether a constant care rate is appropriate. I also live with another experienced Rover sitter. If an unexpected scheduling conflict ever arises, they are available to let pets outside for a potty break or provide a quick check-in when appropriate. I grew up surrounded by animals on a Japanese maple farm with over 20 horses and lots of dogs, both indoor and working dogs, caring for animals has always been second nature to me. I am a student and only have one in-person class this term, giving me lots of availability for quality time with your pup! About: I was raised in a multi-animal house with multiple dogs and cats. Both of the dogs me and my family have taken care of are extremely high energy breeds with both a cattle dog and cattle dog / husky mix. I have house sat for multiple friends and family members and have had extended stays on my Grandfathers farm taking care of chickens, alpacas, and horses. I will be prepared for anything your cat or dog may throw my way! I am currently home from college for the summer. I have almost complete open availability and am willing to work some overnight hours (minus a few weekend nights here and there).
