Taking them for walks, giving them snuggles and a bath when needed. I have been around dogs of all breeds and am very comfortable with them all. I just graduated college and am working to start a business so am looking for side gigs to do that will allow me to continue to work simultaneously. I love pets and will be home for the next year so have an open book for watching pets. Every pet has different needs, and I’m happy to discuss their routine before booking to make sure my schedule is a good fit. Puppies and pets with medical needs are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. I do not charge my constant care rate solely because a pet is a puppy or has medical needs, as puppies already have a higher rate and medical needs are often outside of an owner’s control. If your pet’s care requirements significantly limit my ability to accept other bookings or require me to remain with them for the majority of the day, we can discuss whether a constant care rate is appropriate. I also live with another experienced Rover sitter. If an unexpected scheduling conflict ever arises, they are available to let pets outside for a potty break or provide a quick check-in when appropriate. This helps ensure your pet’s routine is maintained even if I’m briefly unavailable. Any assistance would be communicated with you in advance whenever possible. If your pet requires constant or near-constant supervision, I do offer constant care at an adjusted rate. About: Ive had dogs my entire life. Ive taken care of dogs of all ages, size, and temperaments. I currently have an elderly blind chihuahua, and a corgi mix who is reactive. I recently left my job of 4 years due to lack of proper management. Im taking classes through Chemeketa but my schedule is very flexible. It’s important that all animals feel safe and respected around me. I’m not easily startled by reactive animals, all it takes is a little time to grow comfort.

It was for a 30 minute walk and again she was on time and I love the fact that I get a text and a pic of the walk. About: Lucky enough to grow up on a farm, my family constantly was fostering pups from birth, senior dogs and raising our own! Responsibility was an extremely important value to learn growing up, since I was young Iv personally learned bottle feeding, administering oral medication and training for not only dogs but farm animals too! Between my two parents households and my own adulthood I have experienced raising pits, Staffordshire bull terriers, a German shepherd, a Great Pyrenees a Weimaraner and a springer spaniel plus temporarily fostering more breeds! Although iv had responsibility for many animals at once my love and gentle care was NEVER a second priority, I love my animals like children and I know how important they are to you too! Mon-wed I clean houses for 4-8 hours a day. There is always time in between houses perfect for a quick walk or check in. Fri -sun I’m a waitress and both jobs I’m always off and in newberg before 5 pm, perfect for over nights or evening play dates. As an early bird I’m always available before 8 am Mon-wed. Occasionally I have a weekday or a Saturday off where I can dedicate my whole day. With many years of home training experience I can ensure that strategic walking is in place to keep your dog close and manageable in public, I’m familiar with commands and trigger words and I don’t mind tricking your pup with a sweet treat if needed and requested ;) familiar with crating, pull collars and administering oral medication!
About: I have been an animal lover since a young age, and have been caring for dogs since 2011. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and all ages in between. I have experience in training my own dogs and in practicing commands as asked when puppy-sitting. I've even trained my cat to give high-fives! I also have experience in administering medication, both oral meds as well as eyedrops. Our 14 year old labradoodle gets eyedrops twice daily, which I administer. I bond easily with animals and love dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes! I love getting to know animals, and have a knack for bonding with anxious, shy animals. I am also okay with brushing and bathing, etc., as asked if needed. I am typically available all day on the weekends and most Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am in grad school for the next two years in Forest Grove and classes occur around 9am-4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I may have time for quick home visits for potty breaks during lunch on these days, if needed. I am happy to spend quiet time with pets who are more mellow, or to spend time playing or walking with energetic, younger dogs if that suits them best. I typically observe the dog's behavior and notes from the owner when deciding what to do- are they looking tired and calm? Are they a bit riled up and could use a playtime or a walk? I will follow any instructions left by the owners, as well. If there is anything specific or special you'd like me to do for your pets, just let me know!

About: Cats and Dogs have filled my house ever since I could remember. I have helped care for neighbors and family members animals over the years and helped maintained their safety and health. Taking them for walks, giving them snuggles and a bath when needed. I have been around dogs of all breeds and am very comfortable with them all. Needless to say, almost every animal I’ve been around has adored me just as much as I adore them. Your pets are promised safe hands when cared by me. I just graduated college and am working to start a business so am looking for side gigs to do that will allow me to continue to work simultaneously. I love pets and will be home for the next year so have an open book for watching pets.
