About: Hi! I am Sarah. I am a mom, business owner, and dog lover living in 7 acres in La Plata. I offer in home boarding and care in a peaceful, low stress environment where your animals can relax, explore, and feel at home. I am currently working on installing a fence, so for now I can do leash walks to keep everyone safe, or supervised play for small puppies since we are acres from the road. If you’re looking for personalized care, space, and a more relaxed environment, I’d love to care for your dog. Dogs are never left unattended for long periods, and I prioritize safety at all times. Dogs get plenty of supervised outdoor time and a comfortable, clean space inside to decompress. I care for pets in home as if they’re part of the family. I can follow each dogs routines, which includes feeding schedule, potty breaks, walks, and any special instructions that you provide.
About: My husband and I are blessed to have a totally fenced in home with over three acres. I decided to use this blessing to bless dogs to come and run and play. Dogs were meant to run and roam not be tied up. I so enjoy being outdoors and being around dogs. I have always had dogs even growing up with my family. My father had a heart for animals and I believe that is where my love has come from. I have three dogs of my own and each one has a very special spirit about them. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the rescues and shelters walking the dogs there. I also take rescue puppies into our home and foster them until they are adopted into a loving family. My husband and I work together and we have plenty of time to give special attention to your fur baby. We believe in exercising your pet whether by means of walking, playing with their favorite toy, sitting on the porch just hanging out and also then giving the proper rest as needed. My yard is fenced in for protected play time. While inside your pet will be allowed to be a part of household for special time and then I have a separate area where your pet will be allowed to have quite time and rest in a crate or in a area without a crate as needed.

“Jessica and Nick have been watching Sara Mae during the workday for a couple of months now. Sara Mae's DaDa died just this past April and she had to move from a nice home in Charlottesville with a big porch and yard, to live with me in a DC apartment. She is a fairly anxious dog to begin with, and as you can imagine under tremendous stress and depression the past few months, getting sick a lot and not eating, especially when I had to return to work. She went from nearly 65lbs at her healthy weight, to 45lbs in two months.
