“Thank you for taking care of my babies”

About: I am a current veterinary student at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, where I am pursuing companion animal medicine. I have spent the past 2 years working in a vet clinic, where a majority of my experience has been working with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. I am new to Rover, but I have 10+ years of experience pet sitting and taking care of others’ fur babies! I am a full time veterinary student, typically at school 8 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday. I can offer drop in visits a couple of times during weekdays, but I am available to spend more time with your pets on the weekends. I am unable to care for pets in my home, but I am more than happy to commute to take care of your pet(s) at your home. I strive to make your pet(s) feel loved and comfortable while you’re gone by playing and loving on them, taking them for walks, administering medications if needed, etc.

About: I have had dogs for as long as I can remember and can’t imagine life without them. I’ve been a pet sitter since I was little and have worked in pet boarding as well. I have experience watching cats and dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’m hoping to use Rover to meet some great dogs (since I miss mine while I’m here at school) and make a little extra cash. I have class in the morning, but my afternoons are usually pretty open when I don’t have lab. I am hoping to use them to get some walks in. Weekends are usually flexible as well. I enjoy lots of walks, playing fetch, running around the yard, and giving out lots of pets (and some treats if allowed). At home, I usually walk my dog multiple times a day. I will ensure that your pet always has some time outside, lots of attention, and a full water bowl before I leave each visit.

About: I have been a foster dog parent in the past and a volunteer at Young Williams. I have experience with all kinds of different dogs! I am a part-time babysitter (of human babies), which means I am home a lot of the time and therefore have time to love on your (fur) babies. I do as much as I can to accommodate and make your dog comfortable. I do have senior-ish dogs of my own, so it is important to me that our pets get along. Chill dogs will work best for my environment. I typically will require a meet and greet between our dogs before I board!

“My dogs were happy to have Chelcie come visit them! She took good care of them and was able to assist when my trip was extended an extra day. I liked the updates and felt confident that my kids were safe and happy. Well use her any time I have to travel without them.”

“Excellent care. Prompt communication. Took great care of my Niccolo!”

“Caroline did a wonderful job taking care of our cats! She was super friendly, communicative, and send lots of pictures while we were away. We would definitely have her watch our kitties again.”

About: I grew up with dogs for the first 19 years of my life. I fed, bathed, walked, let out, groomed (not very pretty but functional), and gave medication to my family’s dogs. I then rescued my sweet kitty, who I have owned for three years. I am her only caretaker, so know everything necessary to care for a cat. I worked at a veterinary clinic for a summer so have truly seen it all when it comes to animal care. I worked as a dog walker for a summer as well, and assisted with grooming this dog as well as overall basic care. I have completed an undergraduate degree in animal studies and am continuing on to veterinary school, so I have tons of knowledge to put to good use! Overall, these qualifications make me an excellent caretaker for your loved ones! I am currently working a part time job, 10 hours a week, so I have more than enough time to hang out with your loved ones! I will begin vet school the third week of August. I will then be at school usually 8-12, and sometimes 8-5. I can return to your house during my lunch break around noon if needed. I care for the pets in a client’s home with a holistic approach. I ask specific questions to make sure I understand the animal’s needs and routine before or upon arriving. I want to fit into the animal’s life as an asset to their wellbeing, not as a stressor working against it. I read or listen carefully to instruction to make sure I am well equipped to go above and beyond in loving your pets. They will be my first priority during the time they are in my care, rest assured.

About: Ever since I was born we have had a dog in the house, I have also been pet sitting for neighbors and friends since I was probably 10. Moving to Knoxville for school, I had to leave both of my puppies at home and miss them so much everyday! I did a lot of pet sitting my senior year of high school and found it a good way for me to make money. I had a job at a doggy daycare in town but unfortunately my schedule this year would not allow for the time! I am an active person but definitely enjoy it a lot more with a furry friend to walk with whether that’s at the park or just in a neighborhood! I am currently a 3rd year student at UTK studying nursing, and will be here for the next few years taking classes and hopefully eventually working at UT med, I would love to help out as my schedule allows! I have a lot of knowledge about dogs since i spend a lot of time around them and just enjoy making a dogs life better! I am a student with my classes currently 1 day a week, over the summer, in the fall I will have 3 days of classes per week. If my schedule allows I would LOVE to help out! Please always reach out with any questions! I can pretty much do anything with an explanation, once I get a feel for the home and the dog it will be easier but I constantly try to love and spoil them because I know that’s the best part of their day! Wanting to be a nurse I just love to care for others which is why I enjoy taking care of dogs and just giving them the best life possible. I have a truck as well so very reliable transportation however they’re safety is my top priority and making sure they don’t feel uncomfortable especially in their own home.

About: I am a veterinary student at UTCVM. I got my first dog at the age of 10, so I have been actively caring for pets for more than half of my life. I have worked with dogs and cats in a clinic setting the last 4 years. I have actively pet sat since I was 12 for local people in my neighborhood. I love puppies and I have a lot of experience caring for geriatric patients who need that extra care at home! I am currently in the middle of vet school so I am busy mostly during the week, but I am available on weekends! I am also available on Fridays usually and I am willing to work with you to see if your pet needs any additional care or time! During winter, summer and other week long breaks I am 100% available! I can easily crate your dog if needed and make sure that they have everything they need while their owner is away. It’s important to make sure both the environment and the animal is safe when no one is around and to make the area as pet friendly as possible.

“Super helpful, great reports on the critters and lots of pictures. Brianna is definitely going to be hearing from us again!”

“Sijal was great with my kitty! She was attentive and proactive — asking questions about doing things I didn’t even write down! She was also responsive and made sure that she had done everything and done it well. Definitely using her again :)”

“Ripely was so flexible and accommodating. She went above and beyond to make sure our boys were taken care of while we were gone. 10/10 recommend and will be using her again and again!”

I have a 5 year old French Bulldog named Stacy so I know all about special (high maintenance) doggie needs. Stacy loves other dogs and we would be happy to hang out with your pup for the day or the weekend. He or she will fit right into our walking schedule. I will make sure your dog is safe and secure at all times. I am also experienced at administering medication to dogs. I know how much my baby means to me, so you can be assured I will take the best care of yours and will send you lots of pics and updates! I work full time but work from home on Mondays and Fridays so I can be available to dog sit on the weekends. I also have a dog so your dog will fit right in with our walking schedule. I will spend lots of time with your pup and make sure they feel comfortable in my apartment. My building is dog friendly and we go on lots of walks.

About: I grew up with dogs so I have a lot of experience with them. I understand how worrisome it could be to leave your dogs with a stranger, but my goal is keep them in the best hands while you’re away. I adapt and work well with dogs of all kinds, all sizes, and all ages, and will make sure they will enjoy their time away from home. My dog lived to 16 years old so I have a special place in my heart for senior dogs! I’m a medical student that spends a lot of time studying and working at home so I’ll always be around to keep your dog company! I would care for your pet in any way you wish/prefer! I am very flexible and would be happy to accommodate any of your dog’s needs. I live on the 2nd floor so please keep that in mind if your dog is not able to walk up the stairs!

About: Lifelong dog lover with a Bernedoodle of my own. I use my behavior background to build trust, send updates, and treat every pup like family. I’m a doctoral student with flexible study breaks—perfect for dog walks or staying at your home so your pup gets plenty of attention and company. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. In your home, I follow your routines closely and make sure your pet feels secure and loved. I’m respectful of your space and always keep things clean and calm. If your pup is staying with me, they’ll have a quiet, pet-friendly environment, plenty of attention, and lots of playtime—with supervision and snuggles included.

Jessica U.
“I LOVE JESSICA!! And even more,,, my dogs and cat love her. She has walked my dogs almost daily for the last 4 years. She also cared for them when I went out of town. She always took such good care of them. Always did extras like giving them enrichment activities so they would not be bored etc. My 2 dogs are 70lb energetic doodles. They are reactive. So, they are not the easiest, but she handles both on a walk. She also is reliable with giving meds and other medical care they needed. During the 4 Years, she has been reliable every time she was scheduled to care for them, never missing a day. Also, I had multiple neighbors comment they loved seeing her with them. They commented she had a very sweet nature with them and they could hear her walking and talking with them.. always made me know my babies were in GREAT hands!”

“Cara is kind, honest, intelligent, extraordinarily responsible, and hard working. She loves dogs and is an amazing dog mom herself. She is always dependable and timely. Your pet couldn't be in better hands than with Cara. She has cared for our golden doodle for extended periods when we have been traveling, and has also provided attention, walks and feedings when we can't be home during the day. Our dog runs to greet Cara because she loves her so much. Cara is always loving with our dog and uses positive reinforcement and rewards to achieve desired behavior with our dog.”

Lol she is overall awesome. I trust her with my home and house key. I would recommend her to anyone that is uncertain about this app she makes you feel safe and your pets feel taken care of!

Whitney is the best -- Always pleasant, punctual, dependable, professional, and loved by all three of my dogs.

Taylor took good care of my pups. They enjoyed her visits. I am late getting my review because my mom passed and Taylor was flexible with scheduling.

Caroline did great in taking care of my baby by giving her lots of play time and loves. Sent me lots of pictures and kept me well updated. Will use her again in the future!

Yea it was probably Bella that pooped and tore up the pee pad. Lol little stinker still trying to not have her chew or bite other things just her toys. Thank you so much!

Aracelya was prompt and very dependable. She surprised me with how well she worked with Enzo. He’s a pup with trust issues so I told her she didn’t have to walk him, letting him run around the yard was enough. Much to my happy surprise she got a leash on him the first day and sent me a picture of them on a walk! Truly noteworthy! Aracelya is great!

Kelcie did so well with Enzo. He’s a dog with trust issues but warmed up to Kelcie quickly. Kelcie was great at communicating if she had to stop in later than usual and she took such good pictures of Enzo. I think they really grew attached to each other during the months I spent in Knoxville. We will surely miss her!

Olivia is awesome at communication and handling my very nervous dog! I’d recommend her for anyone looking for a dependable and very capable dog sitter.

Meredith was wonderful with my dogs. She sent pictures with updates every day. My dogs were well taken care of and were healthy and happy when we returned. I will definitely use Meredith again. She also groomed Teddy while we were gone and he looks so good, not smelly and ragged anymore!
