“Sara was amazing!! I had a bit of anxiety at first upon leaving popcorn at someone I didn’t knows house all day! However that turned around immediately! Sara sent me updates frequently through out the day and made sure my baby girl was happy and loved and got to play all day!!! Would highly recommend!!!”

“Adrienne is awesome and straight up THE BEST! She is super dedicated, very professional, and easy/very reliable regarding communication. I can’t recommend her highly enough, and I have zero hesitation leaving my Lily with her.”

About: I am excited to meet your babies! Although I'm new to the Pittsburgh area, I have been taking care of pets my entire life. I'm currently a Stay At Home Mom to 2 kids, 2 pups, and a turtle; formerly a Shift Supervisor at a Doggy Daycare in Erie, CO. Bonus if your pet is okay around kids- I will be far more flexible to work with your schedule, and they will get EXTRA attention at no additional cost 😉 I have a reliable vehicle and I am K-9 CPR certified. I have Vet assistant experience, so I can administer oral medication for both dogs and cats, topical medications, and subcutaneous injections (including insulin). Does your pet love extra attention and play time with gentle children? My weekday late morning and afternoon drop ins would be perfect- my 5 yo son and 2 yo daughter are cat whisperers in training, and care/love for our dogs at home and are so excited to join mommy at work 🥰 My goal is to keep your pet safe, healthy, and happy to the best of my ability with the resources I'm given. I will strive to keep them comfortable with my presence (even if that means giving them space when they need it 😉)
“Abby was great! Goose is a crazy 9 month old puppy and she handled him with no issues. She communicated updates and pictures throughout the day and assured me he was being a good boy which was a big relief. Definitely will be using her again!”

“Excellent dog sitter. My “puppy” loved his time with Rae. She also sent updates and pics of him from their walk, and time hanging out. I definitely hope to have my dog board or visit for day sitting again.”

“Buster had a blast with the dogs in the yard. He was all doggie smiles when we picked him up! On top of that, I booked for the wrong day and Richard was nothing but nice about it, and completely accommodating. We’ll be back when we come through Pittsburgh again.”

About: Hi, I’m Valerie — lifelong animal lover, proud pet mom, and your go-to sitter for stress-free, tail-wagging care! I’ve been caring for dogs of every size, breed, and personality since I was 10 years old. Over the years, neighbors, friends, and families have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pets as if they were my own. Whether it’s a playful puppy, an energetic walker, or a gentle senior needing extra attention, I make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and right at home. Animals bring me so much joy — and I always go above and beyond to make sure your furry family member receives the same love and attention they get from you. 🐶❤️ I also have extensive experience caring for pets with special needs. I’ve helped dogs recover comfortably post-surgery, maintained routines for a 14-year-old diabetic cat, and provided patient, gentle care for anxious or senior animals. When I worked as a Wag! walker eight years ago, I was quickly requested as a regular walker by repeat clients — a reflection of my dependability, calm energy, and genuine love for animals of all kinds. I currently run my own business, which gives me vast flexibility and availability to devote to your pets’ needs. Whether it’s a midday walk, a last-minute drop-in, or overnight care, I’m happy to work around your schedule to ensure your furry friend is comfortable, cared for, and loved. I’m an avid hiker and live right next to Frick Park’s 9-Mile Trail, where I love taking dogs for long walks, fresh air, and a healthy dose of adventure (with your approval, of course!). For pups who prefer a quieter pace, I provide gentle strolls and cozy downtime at home. My home is calm, clean, and pet-friendly — I can easily crate your pup if needed and always follow care instructions closely. Comfort and safety are my top priorities, and I make sure every pet feels relaxed, happy, and right at home — whether they’re here for a walk, a weekend, or a longer stay. Your pets deserve someone who sees them the way you do — as family. I’d love the opportunity to meet your furry companion and give them the care, attention, and affection they deserve. Let’s set up a meet and greet — I can’t wait to welcome them into my world of tail wags, fresh air, and happy hearts. 🐾❤️ I run my own business, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to devote to your pets. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and boarding throughout the week — including weekends and most evenings. Whether you need consistent care, last-minute help, or an extended stay, I’m happy to accommodate your schedule to make sure your pet always feels cared for and loved. I provide a calm, clean, and loving environment for every pet in my care. My home has plenty of space for your dog to relax or stretch their legs before and after walks. I live right next to Frick Park’s 9-Mile Trail, which is perfect for safe, scenic walks and outdoor adventures (always with your approval and comfort level in mind). I follow every care instruction closely — from feeding and medications to exercise routines — and I’m experienced in caring for pets with special needs, including post-surgery care and senior or diabetic animals. I prioritize safety and comfort above all else, ensuring every pet in my care feels secure, happy, and right at home.

“Amy does a fantastic job! She is so professional, and my puppy absolutely LOVES to go. He gets so exciting when he gets in the car now, thinking he's going to get to go to Amy's house. I highly recommend her, especially for weekly doggy daycare during the day.”

“Christy is great! She kept me updated throughout the day with pictures and double checked instructions on care for my dog. My dog came back so happy and tired after her day with Christy. Would definitely recommend!”

“Amy was wonderful to our Charlie, she took great care of him & gave us peace of mind while attending a concert with many updates and pictures. Charlie loved her & we wouldn’t hesitate to book again with Amy while in Pittsburgh. Thanks very much Amy!!”

About: I grew up with dogs and have loved animals my entire life. I have been a pet sitter for many friends and neighbors over the years and had my own canine companion for 10 years. She passed away in November of 2023. Animals deserve to be loved and treated like family. I promise that your dogs will be treated very well and that they will truly enjoy their “vacation” at my home. It’s difficult to leave your “loved ones” in the care of others and I know that feeling. Rest assured that they will be cared for and spoiled to the best of my ability! I am a behavioral therapist who works with children and families. I have a hybrid job which means that I work from home doing Telehealth services and I also see clients in person at times. I am home for most of the day and this worked perfectly when I cared for my late dog, Arwen. I do not have any pets currently. I have an elevated deck that is only accessible from the house. It is surrounded and my dog loved to spend time out there basking in the sun. I have a yard but it is not fenced in. My neighborhood is quiet and very dog friendly.
“Tia was great! She accepted my request on short notice and made me feel at ease about leaving my boy Pete with her. We drove into town and needed a sitter for a few hours. She was the perfect choice for Pete the Pug. He was safe and secure in her fenced in yard. She also made him feel right at home letting him on her couch as part of the family. He made a new friend, Tang her adorable dog. She sent pictures and even a video to help ease my mind about dropping him off with a stranger away from home. I highly recommend her. And if we go back to Pittsburgh I will definitely book with her again.”

“Alexis was very responsive during our "interview" stage and very pleasant upon arrival. Although prince was anxious to leave he seemed to be comfortable and safe and that's all that mattered. Thank you for being available.”

About: Very experienced with healthy dogs and those that need more attention/medication. Also sit for a lot of dogs now and have dog essentials at home. I am a part time real estate agent and take care of mom who lives next door. I’m home a lot and love dog company! I love going for walks and having a dog/s to walk with are a plus! There is a yard behind my house for potty breaks!
About: I brought our two cats, Chili and Lok-Lok, all the way from China, but I grew up with dogs in my family and love both. I’ve taken care of my family’s and friends’ dogs and I heard about this app so I thought it might be fun to give it a try. Whenever I get called on to dog-sit for my friend here in Pittsburgh I like to go to the dog parks near the South Side river or jog along with them, rain or snow, and socialize with other dogs. Looking forward to meeting yours! I’m a PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh so summer and winter breaks are relatively free, and usually I’m only “working” 2-3 half days per week. I have to do a lot of reading and thinking so getting out of the house is a good way to take a break and process. I have a fenced yard where I do some gardening and let our cats out every day to chase bugs and birds. My friends have stayed over with their dogs and I just move the cats to the second floor and keep them there while the dogs take the first and the yard.
“Mariah was amazing!! So friendly and accommodating for our last minute booking. We will definitely book again, our puppy came back happy and calm.”

“Hannah did a fantastic job caring for my dog Boo! Boo usually struggles with new environments, but the care and attention Hannah provided made all the difference. She was patient, understanding, and went above and beyond to ease my dog's anxiety. Highly recommend for anyone with a nervous dog!”

“We’re so happy to have met Joe (and Zip!), Phoebe was well cared for and had a great time. Thanks Joe for treating her so well and for sharing updates and photos while she was with you!!”

Knoxville dog parents share their Rover experiences
Anahita was a wonderful sitter for our pup Chewie! We were visiting Pittsburgh for the weekend and needed a sitter to watch our boy. Anahita adapted to our off hour schedule and was super communicative, taking pics of him and letting us know how he was doing. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a kind and caring sitter.
