About: Hello! I have loved animals all my life. I went to Iowa State University to get a bachelor’s degree in Biology! While at ISU, I was a caretaker at the Insect Zoo, caring for and presenting all sorts of creepy crawlies. I have several years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and reptiles. I volunteered at the local humane society for several years! I love learning new things and am always reading up on how to take the best care of my pets as possible. I have raised many kittens from birth and have experience giving medications to senior cats and dogs. I live on a farm now with lots of kitties and chickens! My #1 goal is to ensure the comfort and safety of your pet while you are away. I currently have one indoor cat, Luna and a puppy named Winston. They are fed twice a day, morning and evening. They get hours of cuddles and play time and always has a clean environment to thrive in. My husband works from home, so they get a ton of attention! We bought a farm in October 2023 and outside we have 14 chickens. By the end of the year we will also have goats! We have almost five acres to run and play on while your pet is here. Animals in my home are treated as family members. Anyone that knows me knows that my animals are my life. I like to know every detail about your pet to best care for them. There is no such thing as “too much” information when it comes to caring for your pets!

About: I have had anywhere from 1-5 dogs at a time my whole life. I have had many breed and all age ranges from 8 weeks to 15 years old. I have a handful of pet/house sitting experience and looking for more opportunities! I have 2 different PRN jobs where I make my own schedule so I am pretty open anytime of the week/weekends as long as I am informed ahead of time on dates. I work overnights in other peoples home as one of my jobs, so I have experience in respecting other peoples spaces. I am willing to adapt to your home situation/rules whether that’s fence, no fence, on/off leash, etc. I will give your animals lots of love and treat them as my own.

About: I've had pets all my life and would love to care for yours too, on a temporary basis. I love to vacation and often struggle with finding a solution for my babies while I'm gone. For me my favorite choice is to have someone I know and trust stay in my home but there's hardly ever anyone available for that kind of commitment! I thought it would be awesome to be able to provide that kind of care for someone else: house/pet sitting, drop-in, or just walks/exercise. I want you to know your pets are loved and treated with gentle kindness. I recognize that I'm kind of a stranger to your babies and I'll treat them like my own and earn their trust! They'll be loved and cared for in a way that will make your absence less stressful for them and as much like their normal days as it can be while you're away. I take my responsibilities to others extremely seriously and won't be satisfied unless you are! I'm retired so my schedule is very flexible! I have availability on weekdays and weekends both. Mornings, afternoons, and evenings are fine by mutual agreement. I enjoy taking find for walks or just playing outside in the yard. On days where weather is bad, I'm happy to get the dogs outside to do their business and then play a bit indoors!

About: I’ve pet sit for family/friends and I work at a kennel. I also own my own pets as well. I’m going to school to be a veterinarian technician. My work schedule changes a lot but I’m more than happy to work pet care in for you and your pet to make you happy! I treat the pets like they are my own and making sure they are getting enough attention and have the necessities they need through out the day.

About: Hello! my name is Ellie and I: -Grew up on a hobby farm and have been responsible for the care of cats, dogs, goats, chickens and other birds. -House sat for other families and have taken care of their dogs, cats and other animals. -I have a huge love for animals -I genuinely want to do my best in taking care of your pets<3 I am currently working on growing my small business as an artist from home so I have plenty of free time on my hands. I can come any day of the week except Sunday mornings. But please try to give me as much warning as possible so that I can be sure I don't plan something else on that day. I am sorry but I do not offer bording, overnight house sitting, or doggy daycare services. I do offer dog walking and drop in visits though.

About: I have lots of experience working with dogs with Thyroid disorders, joint problems, hip problems, diabetes, and special diets. I'm very flexible. All you have to do is ask and we'll see. I've had Chocolate Labs, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, Poodles, Terriers, and Shih Tzus. I love animals especially puppies and dogs. I am also willing to watch your cats if you also have them. I wanted to be a veterinarian or veterinary assistant but I didn't quite have the grades for it so that's why I decided to become a dog sitter, a dog walker, pet care taker, dog lover, and pet lover. Availability for pet care all week depending on the hours needed. I always accompany pets when they are outside even in a fenced in yard. I take short or long walks depending on what is requested.

About: I have degrees in Animal Science and Animal Nutrition, as well as several years of experience caring for animals of all kinds in home, medical, and educational settings. I worked for a few years as a veterinary assistant during college so I am comfortable working with animals with medical needs. I previously worked for Hill's Pet Nutrition caring for 100-200 dogs in their canine facility every day, making sure they live their best life! I helped care for our 2 family dogs growing up, I currently have my own cat named Winifred, and I also have experience as a volunteer pet sitter while I was in college. There is no dog too big or too small, I love them all! And I would love to help you care for your furry family member. I work fully remote, so I can easily bring my work with me and spend most of my time with your pets. My daily schedule is pretty flexible, so I'm able to adjust as needed. As long as I know the important people, places, and things in and around your home, I can navigate taking care of your pets in their own space providing a routine that its similar to what they're used to while you're away!

And my dog gets long walks every day the weather allows, so walking alone is not the draw here. I am currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to come and check in on your pets or take them for a walk! I live in the country and have a year old dog to keep your dog company! About: We have been pet sitting for friends and colleagues for 2 years so thought why not join Rover and do more! Our clients love my family and we love their pets so it makes perfect sense. I have 4 kids, a small dog and two cats and my small pets just hide if a visiting pet is too much for them otherwise they don't get bothered or bother anyone else, human or pet! I work from home and I have 4 kids who love cats and dogs and love to help out with the dogs that we already provide services for. We are trusted with hideaway keys to homes to let dogs out and we run them in fenced in yards to burn energy. Then we make sure they have food and water and kennel them if applicable before we leave. In our house, visiting pets are watched over by all members of the family. Sometimes we buy them their own special toy to play with. We make sure they eat and get any meds they might need.

About: I have had dogs my entire life. That’s a long time! I assure you your dog would be in good hands! I will love them like they were mine! I stay home now so I’m available pretty much anytime. I’m willing to go to your home if it’s not to far away. Just ask I’m sure we can work something out. I have a fenced in yard. I have two friendly dogs. One has a crate and one doesn’t. They both sleep where they want. I crate one only sometimes.

About: I worked at a Vet Clinic for five years where I worked with dogs of all ages. My specialty was senior dogs. I consider myself patient and loving. I’m currently in between being done with my masters degree and looking for a new job with my degree. I’m taking a break between now and then so I have plenty of time to provide services ! I have one dog who is very friendly to other animals. I have one cat who is very independent and will not be a bother to any other friends.

About: Prices are negotiable. I understand when having multiple dogs it racks up to a lot. I am willing to work with you on prices. I’ve had a dog since I was 8 years old. My love for dogs is never ending. I have been taking care of other peoples dogs since I was 19. I’m available to stay with your dog. I am not available to bring your dog to my house. I believe dogs do best in their own environment with all their toys and their own area. I’m currently work full time for a daycare in Polk City. I work 10hr days Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. On the weekends I like to take my sister’s dog for a walk unless I am watching someone else dog I will take that dog on a walk if able to. Majority of the dogs I watch stay at home because they know that area better. Anxiety is very common in dogs that get boarded or are away from home.

About: Little about me-I've taken care of pets since I was about 10 years old. The first dog I took care of was a male maultese mix, until he was about 10 years old when he developed lung cancer and we had to put him down. We then got another male maultese-poodle mix. I have also owned and taken care of a female black lab, female corgi mix, male pitbull, and a male German shepherd/Rottweiler/husky mix. I have raised and trained some puppies, including the German shepherd mix. I've taken care of birds, cats, bunnies/rabbit, and guinea pigs. On top of those experiences I've spent a lot of time with friend's pets, helping take care of them when they need it. I loved watching Ceasar Mellan growing up and I've used a lot of his methods to train my animals. I am an animal person, loving animals is my passion. I understand how much our pets mean to us and how important it is for them to be in a safe environment. I knit, which my cats love to play with at the same time lol. I will cuddle with them and watch movies. Sometimes I take my cats with me to the beach or parks, they stay in the car but they like the little adventure.

About: I've always had pets growing up. I currently have 2 dogs of my own, one female and one male. The female is 40 lbs and the male is 10lbs. I currently work a full time job so I'm only available on nights and boarding on weekends. But I'm usually always home when I'm not working. I have outdoor tie ups so your dogs can still get exercise. I will be fencing in part of the yard eventually. The 2 dogs I have are high energy and will play with any animal. I do have crates if they need to be crated.
