About: We have been dog parents together for 8 years, eventually growing our family of dogs to 3, all different ages. We recently said goodbye to our eldest boy, so now we just have our 2 smaller pups ❤️ We both grew up with dogs in our families as kids and love staying home with them! Neil works from home and is available 24/7 during the week, so your dog will never be without a person in the house. Mariah works part time as a bartender but is also home most of the time. Since we always have somebody at the house, we are great at staying on top of potty breaks and anything urgent. We love hanging around the house at night and making our dogs feel as comfortable as possible at all times! Our house has 2 dogs: A Chihuahua/papillon mix and a corgi/beagle mix. They are both very friendly dogs and would love to have another friend (or multiple friends!) to play with 🐶 If you would like us to keep up your dogs exercise, we love taking them to the beach to play, and can also walk them on a leash around our neighborhood if you’d prefer that. Or we can just play fetch in our large fenced backyard! Neil works from home and is available 24/7 to keep an eye on the dogs. Mariah is a bartender, but has a relatively lax work schedule and is also home a majority of the time. We have a fenced backyard and plenty of toys! Our 2 dogs are also very friendly and love meeting new doggy friends, they acclimate quickly :) We like to organize meet and greets ahead of time, just to be sure everyone gets along. That way, you can rest assured that they will be in a safe environment for the duration of their stay.

About: I've had large dogs since 1997. Currently I have 2 amazing dogs. A 3 legged great burnese, and a 1.2yr old burnese Mt. Dog. They are sweet and wonderful dogs with great manners and are super dog friendly. I also have 2 cats. Rick and Morty. They are a pair. Also very sweet and affectionate once they know you. They are indoor/outdoor 24/7 but avoid dogs. The love of my furry friends reflects who I am. I have 5 acres. This allows my dogs to mostly roam free as they stay close to home. It gives other dogs the opportunity to have a place to run around and play with other good dogs. There are also multiple leads amongst the property, as well as a gated and covered outside area if your pet isn't used to either of those situations. I spend almost all of my days working from home. So other than the occasional errand, I'm home. Otherwise, I exist for you and yours. My pets have water and food at all times. It's under a covered area so they are able to stay in the shade if they like. Otherwise my dogs are free to roam as they generally stay on the property. My property is not fenced. However with this undertaking dogs can be placed in the covered area when needed. They can be leaded if that's what you want. As well they are welcome in the house at any time. Your pets are free to relax anywhere they like. My dogs are very sweet and friendly. My 3 legged dog is not one to get to excited as he only has 3 legs. For the right dogs, my property is a paradise.

Well versed in the needs of our furry friends, no pet is too much for my care. Experienced in special need care for animals - including but not limited to insulin administration. I also have formal training as an assistant vet tech and have volunteered at the ASPCA for years. Since I am currently self-employed with reliable transportation, my schedule is extremely flexible. I have two dogs and two cats that I care for daily, but they are low maintenance and do not require much time. Boarding will be done on 5.5 acres in Freshwater, set back in the woods with plenty of land for your fur-baby to roam free. We have gated, open top areas as well as a temperature controlled garage set up if your pet needs isolation or time away from the other animals. When walking, during drop-in visits, or on overnight stays in your home, I will adhere to all requests and ensure your furbaby enjoys themselves in your absence!

My dog Axl and I completed AKC canine good citizen certification. This has increased my skills in dog training and behavioral corrections. About: Dogs have been apart of my life since I was 8 years old. Personally I took care of a Boston terrier and that is the only breed that Ive worked with in my house. Other breeds that I’ve had experience with our my neighbors dogs including different types of Pitbulls and huskies. I am very comfortable with larger dog find them to be huge lovers. I am welcome to any size dog i know I can handle and take care of them based on my personal experience with my own pets and neighbors pets. My neighbors pets have been in my life longer than the Boston terrier that we got as a family dog. My family has now had three Boston terriers throughout my lifetime. I am currently a full-time Cal poly Humboldt student, but I have 1 to 2 hour breaks between most of my classes and I’m free in the evenings for dog walking throughout the day. I am currently moved out of my parents house so I don’t have any pets in my home but I have a fenced off backyard and is spacious living area if they need to stay overnight that is OK. I have plenty of places to walk right outside of my home. In the clients home I would be able to do any pet care that they may require or want such as walking be brushing. About: Hi, I’m Virgo (formerly Jeremy)! I’ve been dog sitting my friends’ dogs for about 10yrs, and working for a dog trainer for about 2yrs. (My parents tell me I’ve loved dogs my whole life, but I can only partly confirm.) A few things I like about dog sitting is discovering their personalities and learning how to interprete and anticipate their needs. I’m not intimidated by high-energy/high-intelligence dogs either! I like the challenge of keeping up with them. It also tricks me into staying active and feels less ridiculous than Zumba. 🤷🏽‍♂️ If there’s anything else you wanna know just ask? Uhh, this thing says I’ve gotta write 50 more words to move on so I’m just gonna keep typing stuff until the limit runs out I guess? I’m a substitute teacher, so my schedule is highly flexible! I try not to schedule subbing jobs during engagements, but they overlap seamlessly when it does happen. I live alone with a fully enclosed backyard and space for a crate if needed! I prefer to sit in the pet’s home though because I like to keep your pet’s routine and environment familiar to make them most comfortable!

About: I own a 7 acre property that is a short drive up Fickle Hill Rd in Arcata! It includes a private trail with access to the community forest and a very large fenced in yard. I have a 1 year old female German Shepherd (Sabine) who is very well trained and LOVES to play with other dogs. I’ve been working with animals my entire life but started officially dog sitting and walking about 10 years ago! I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and personalities and feel comfortable and confident in my care abilities. Locally I have done in home care both long term and short term. Now that I have this large property I would like to do more of a doggy day care! I am capable of providing training, grooming, as well as daily exercise and enrichment activities! I am free Monday - Thursday every week as I work from home as a ceramic artist. On the weekends (Friday - Sunday) I work as a waitress. I offer care from my home where I have a very large fenced in yard with plenty of space to run around and enjoy the outdoors. As well as a large dog friendly home for those rainy days. All plants and trees on the property are dog safe! I also have a private trail that is connected to the community forest trails where I take Sabine (my dog) for daily walks. Sabine also loves the beach so we do take weekly trips out to the dunes in Samoa! I’m a dog lover and feel that I am very attuned to understanding the way they communicate. Your dog will look forward to playing around the property and spending time in the forest with Sabine and I!
