About: I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and ages, as well as animals that take daily medication. I’m very good when it comes to applying the owners needs with consistency and lots of attention for their pets. I babysit part time and I have dog sitting clients outside of Rover as well. My schedule is very flexible and so it’s easier for me to meet new clients and their pets! I always make sure to ask my clients if there’s any additional info that I need to know. I’m a very aware and attentive person, that’s why I keep a good eye on the pets body language and everyday needs. Keeping up with their schedule is another important detail to me.

Communication was great and she sent fotos which were worlds better than any I have ever been able to take whilst holding her on leash. Stella is a rescue who can be anxious, but she really liked Ember and was comfy with her. I will certainly seek Ember out next time I go out of town. Thanks, Ember!”

About: I have experience with dogs and cats, young and old, easy and "difficult". I am very adept at walking and caring for dogs that can have a hard time with other dogs and/or humans. I'm also happy to help keep up any training routines, I'm pretty proficient in general dog training, but I know it always comes down to the individual dogs for what works best. I often have people remark about their pets who usually don't warm up to new people immediately taking a liking to me! I'm also totally respectful of animals who do need time to get to know new people and always meet them where they're at, so more than welcome to accommodate those who need more introduction time. I've had dogs in the family my whole life, and have lived with many cats as roommates, and I've loved them all. I've done extensive house sitting everywhere from big cities to rural areas, for periods of time as long as two months, caring for animals as well as the house and surrounding property. My schedule is very flexible so I can make sure I have plenty of time to give my full attention to your animal friends, I live in a sweet quiet neighborhood in Arcata near the bottoms that's great for regular walks, and I have a car and am happy to take pups out on more special adventures too! I always check in about what's best for each dog, and can tailor care around what their usual schedule is with walks and feeding, what kinds of play they like best, and any training routines I can help reinforce during our time together.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. Ever since I was a kid, I was jumping up to wash the dogs, train the dogs, walk the dogs- everything! I’m a full time college student. During the day, I will need to attend class. I also attend Natural Resources club on Saturday mornings. However, I am fully available during the rest of the week! I treat all pets with respect and kindness. I’ve had reactive dogs and extremely friendly dogs, so I’m well versed in any reactions pets may have to me. I can crate dogs, feed dogs, play with dogs, walk them, and even bathe them if needed!

About: I’ve had years of experience with all sorts of pets! My family has owned dogs, cats, chickens, and even reptiles. With this, I’ve had years of learning to care for our loving pets and their different needs. I also spend my free time volunteering at the local animal shelter. There, I walk and attend to a variety of different dogs of all ages and breeds. I’m free every day except Tuesday-Thursday 9:00 am - 10:20 am. I am available to check up on or walk pets whenever is needed/wherever is preferred. I have a secluded home in the forest with a large backyard. My family owns chickens (which are enclosed in another area), a small chihuahua mix, and an old cat.

She had no problems administering medication to our senior dog or keeping track of our mischievous kittens. It was so nice to be on vacation and have the confidence that our animals and home were in such good hands. Victoria is great with communication. She is always prompt to double check on things we hadn't been quite clear on or, when unusual situations arose, such as our senior dog having a bout of loose stool/diarrhea (which he get's from time to time), asking if there was anything in particular we do or would like done in the situation. And, she gave us plenty of picture updates too. Vicotria was so thoughtful and even asked if we wanted the mail brought in while we were away. She even did some cleaning! The house is in better shape then when we left. We will definitely hire Victoria again in the future.”
