About: I've been caring for dogs since middle school, including over 12 years of hands-on experience caring for my own dog, Aubrey. I've also had family, friends, and neighbors rely on me to walk, feed, groom, and care for their pets. Over the years, I've gained experience with dogs of many sizes, breeds, and personalities, including Golden Retrievers, mixed breeds, Yorkshire Terriers, hounds, Chihuahuas, and Corgis. I especially enjoy caring for senior pets and making sure they receive the patience, attention, and affection they deserve. I like spending quality time with them, grooming them, observing their behavior and how they're doing, and making sure they're comfortable and cared for. I've also expanded my experience through volunteer work with Rockland Orange Furrever Homes and the Hudson Valley SPCA, where I've worked with shelter animals and gained additional experience observing animal behavior and providing hands-on care. I currently have a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I enjoy making time for walks, play, grooming, companionship, and simply getting to know each pet's personality and routine. I'm able to be flexible with my availability and want every pet in my care to feel comfortable, safe, and loved. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping them safe, comfortable, and following their normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure doors, gates, and other exits are secure, provide fresh water and meals according to the owner's instructions, and give pets plenty of attention and exercise. I also pay close attention to their behavior and overall condition so I can recognize anything unusual and communicate concerns to their owner. During walks, I use safe handling practices and stay aware of the pet's surroundings, other animals, and potential hazards. I want every pet to feel comfortable and cared for while their owner is away.

“Fantastic! We have two senior dogs (14 and 13) with special needs. One of them can't use his back legs, has bathroom accidents and is deaf. The other is losing his vision, has some leg weakness and is high anxiety. She visited beforehand and asked great questions. We were away for a week. Both dogs were comfortable and happy with Vicki. She was communicative and sent pictures with updates. We returned home to peaceful pets and the house as clean as when we left. I think the doggies were looking for Vicki when we got home. :) It was a blessing to be able to know they were in good hands while we were away for camping time as a family.”

About: I have experience with being around animals since I’ve been 5 years old. I have two dogs of my own and three cats as well. I will make sure the animals are comfortable, loved and taken care of properly. I am patient, caring, and have high energy. I am big on play time and walks and making sure they get their exercise for the day. I have walked dogs before and also provided in house care for several of my neighbors and close family friends. I really do enjoy being around animals and find it very relaxing. I’m a college student and can be very stressed at times so getting to play with an animal really is something I look forward to. Thank you (: On a daily basis I am always making sure my animals are fed, getting play time in, cuddles and more! They are so important to me! Making sure my pets always have water and their litter box is clean on a daily basis. I always ensure they get little extra treats throughout the day as well as cuddles!

Our sheepdog is often very wary with new people and he took to Sahari right away. She handled the high energy and special medical needs of our other dog with compassion, kind boundaries and competent care. About: I currently cat and dog sit regularly for my parents and for my girlfriends pets when they are away. I have experience dog sitting multiple dogs and love being active with all animals. I am currently on summer break until classes start, once they do schedule may change. Currently I have very open availability, typically get my day started at 9:30am and love being active throughout the day. Pet friendly apartment and neighborhood. I will follow all safety precautions and instructions given. I have a walking path around my apartment. There is a lot of space for pets to roam around.

In the past I have worked as a pet and house sitter for a couple families. I always enjoy any time spent with animals. I have flexible schedule making me available to care for your fur babies! I’ve had and cared for young puppies and kittens to senior pets, and enjoy caring for all animals. This means I can drop by to care for pets as needed throughout the day! While I do have pets at home, I am currently renting and unable to board any pets in my house. Instead, I am able to offer drop in services or dog walking! I also am a very active person and would love the opportunity to bring your dog on a run or a hike (with your permission of course)! I am available to stop by for multiple walks/play sessions throughout the day. I have experience with caring for animals overnight as well as housekeeping while pet owners are away.
