My dog is a nearly 4 year old rescue, 65lb, strong as can be, and full of residual anxiety/stress/fear issues from whatever happened in his first year before. New situations, people, boxes on the counter… you name it, he freaks out (thankfully, he is chill with meeting new dogs). Richard and Karen put my worries to ease right away during our meet and greet. They are professional dog people, to say the least, and have loads of experience with dogs of all sorts, including rescues and foster fails. They also have a home situated next to a huge park (which will be a big joy for our dog if he gets comfortable enough on future trips to want walks). “Our dog Andy had an amazing time at Mike’s. There was a large yard and a long tie out for him to run around and play to his heart’s content. There’s a pen area attached to the house where the dogs can go into through a doggie door from the house. Apparently Andy loved the sunroom/porch where he could look outside while relaxing. Andy LOVED playing with Mike’s two dogs—he had the best time! Mike was attentive and made and feel at home. He figured out ways to make Andy like his food more. We’ll be using Mike again when we go out of town.”
