“Nina is the best! I needed to leave town for the day and Nina was the perfect person to hang out with my doggos. Nina is kind, easy to communicate with and punctual. As a first time Rover user, Nina could not have been a better fit. My dogs immediately loved her and she sent photo updates during the day. Looking forward to having her back!”

“HIGHLY recommend Shylynn, she will go above and beyond for you and your fur babies. Im so happy we found her. Definitely our #1 from now on, being new to Rover she has definitely made our experience wonderful.”

“Molli is absolutely wonderful! She was reliable, kind, and kept us updated consistently about our fur babies. It was so nice to know they were in such great hands while we were gone. Will definitely be requesting her services again soon!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a little girl and had the pleasure of assisting many families with their pet sitting needs prior to Rover. My care includes but is not limited to: walks, scritches, feeding, bathing, playtime, treats and tricks, and tucking in the sleepy pups for bed. I also can assist with administration of medicine per request and with instruction, as well as open line of communication. I have had to give my own pets medication and I am not afraid to assist in that field. I haven't worked too much with seniors but with instructions I am eager to learn! Puppies are a blast, and any training that needs working on I can absolutely assist with. As of right now I am completely open with my schedule other than Tuesdays. I can fit my schedule to your pets sitting needs without any issues. My schedule consists of errands and my own physical health and making sure my own fur babies get the care and love they need. I can work around my schedule to meet clients needs, and will communicate if I am unable to pet sit due to vacations or trips back home to my family. My care includes but is not limited to: walks, scritches, feeding, bathing, playtime, treats and tricks, and tucking in the sleepy pups for bed. I also can assist with administration of medicine per request and with instruction, as well as open line of communication with pet parents via txt and phone call. Videos, pics, and or FaceTime can also be requested per pet visit. I can't wait to meet your fur baby and become best buds!
About: I have taken care of animals since I was 12. My parents, friends, grandparents, neighbors, in-laws, and others have depended on me to take care of their pets. I have watched pets of all types, ages, and health needs. So if you need overnight care, drop in visits, or just a good walk in the person for you I’m currently working part-time. I can do overnight stays any day. I work primarily afternoons and nights so I am usually available in the mornings for visits/walks or night visits/walks. If you would like me to stay during the day I would be gone from 1/2pm-7/8pm I do not offer any services in my home. But in your home I would feed, walk, give medications, clean up after, and love on your animal.
About: Lover of all Furbabies! Specialized care tailored to each pet's needs by creating a safe and comfortable environment for all furry friends. My dedication to personalized care and attention to detail ensures that every pet receives the best possible care during their walk or stay. I can provide specialized care for senior pets, as well as puppies. Having my own Furbaby, I know the stress of planning a vacation, long weekend, or even just needing a dog walker while you are at work. I am a USDA-certified animal Care Provider and a Flight Nanny. My goal is to provide the best care, exercise, and fun for your furbaby. I have a completely fenced-in yard with a pool. Depending on your pup's likes or dislikes, we can play in the pool. Because of this, I will never let your furbaby alone in the yard without supervision. I have my furbaby and know the stress of worrying if she is well cared for while we are away. I will send daily videos, photos, and texts with updates.

About: With 10 years of pet care experience, I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. I currently have two large dogs, so I’m confident handling strong, high-energy pups as well as those who need a calmer approach. I’m attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and making sure each pet feels secure and loved while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets consistent attention throughout the day. Between caring for my own dogs and client pets, I’m used to planning my day around walks, feeding times, and play. I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I also treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping everything clean and secure while you’re away.
About: I have many years taking care of all types of animals. Growing up we were always fostering and helping pups out of the streets. Was never a time with less than 5 pups in the house. My love for animals runs deep and my passion to make sure they are taken care of and treated like the goodest pupper on earth goes beyond. Hiring me won’t just mean you hired someone to walk or feed your dog, it means you have one more human your animal can trust and be loved by! I’m currently working full time but am transitioning to better meet my child’s needs with school. I will be available to drop in to your home and check on our furiends during the regulars work week and work hours. Safety and trust come first. Im always aware of my surroundings and make sure all pups are safe. I have knowledge of giving medication as well as wound care if needed. I love to go on walks and play fetch to let the pup breath outside and stretch their legs.
“Taylor was an absolute pleasure and took perfect care of our almost 2-year old Chicory. Taylor was very communicative and sent us lots of updates, photos and videos. This is so helpful when you are just starting to build a relationship with a new pet care-person. They followed all the directions and gave Chicory lots of attention. Chicory has a lot of energy and Taylor kept up with him and made sure he was tuckered out. We could just tell that Chicory was loved and cared for as Taylor would have cared for their own fur baby. Not only that but our condo was also left in perfect shape. Taylor even washed the sheets and blankets and remade the bed. We will definitely be reaching out to them again for our next trip.”

About: Always had pets growing up, primarily mid to large sized dogs and random critters. While I can't currently own any of my own, I would love to hang out with and give some attention to yours! Right now my schedule is 8 days on, 6 days off. So essentially, all day every day every other week I can be available for walking and sitting, or just home visits mid day to let pets ourlt for potty breaks etc. I do not currently have the ability to bring any pets to my home, but depending on the set up at the home of the client, monitored backyard runs or leashed walks would probably be the starting point of interacting with new pets.
About: I’ve had multiple dogs my entire life, I absolutely love animals and love taking care of animals and showing them the love they need! I have trained three dogs and raised multiple dogs and cats and have taken care of a lot of birds for family as well. I work about 7 hours every day with a break in between so I will be able to for your animals multiple times a day if needed. I can also visit once every 3.5 hours if needed and on days where I work less I’ll be able to visit even more often! I care for my pets by making sure they are fed, taken proper care of, and lots and lots of playtime and petting. I love showing my dogs that they are loved!
“Arayvia responded promptly to our texts, which was very important to us. She kept my furry babies company and snuggled with my baby girl all the time- she was sweet and affectionate. When we got home the dogs looked happy.”

About: Hi, I’m Lacy! I’ve been caring for animals since I was 9 through 4-H, where I learned how to care for animals like family. I’m now a dog mom myself, and when I’m not helping people around Yuma as a Realtor, I’d love to help care for your pup too. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone new, so I’ll make sure they feel safe like they’re my own. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because my schedule is pretty open for the most part. I’m happy to work with each pet’s routine and make sure they get the care, attention, and love they’re used to. I’m very open to caring for pets in their own home, where they may already feel most comfortable. I’m happy to follow their normal routine with feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide.

“Once again Abril did great with my pups. One of my pups had an emergency while I was gone and Abril took such care with him and made sure he was comfortable. She took him to the vet for me because I couldn’t back in time and made she sure communicated with me during the entire visit. So happy to have her look after my pups.”

FAQs for House Sitting - Kinter
Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 67 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Kinter. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Kinter walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Kinter maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Kinter choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
