Booked with Nina again and she was great! She sent updates and walked & played with the pups often. She was even willing to stay a few more days when we decided mid-trip to extend our trip. House was left in perfect condition. Will definitely book with her again!

Becky did a wonderful job with our dogs. She was available last minute to help out when another sitter fell through, paid great attention to detail, and I fully trusted her while we were away. She made sure to check in multiple times a day and sent pictures and videos of our pups. Would be happy to book again in the future.

Nani is the first non-family member to watch our four furry pups. We were gone 10 hours (I know not long) to an appointment in Tucson. We just got home and the house is perfect and the dogs are not going bananas as though we left them FOR-EV-ER!! Thank you so much Nani for taking such good care of our spoiled pups. Hopefully, should we need to go again you will be willing to stay with them again. 😉

Molli was a great cat and house sitter. My Mom has 2 cats that are always used to someone being at home throughout the day and especially overnight. My Mom had an unexpected family emergency that needed her away for 2 weeks and after meeting with Molli she already felt at ease. Molli sent us daily pictures and videos, she played with the cats, and took great care of the house. We would highly recommend Molli and will definitely be using her in the future for pet sitting. Thank you Molli!

About: I have taken care of animals since I was 12. My parents, friends, grandparents, neighbors, in-laws, and others have depended on me to take care of their pets. I have watched pets of all types, ages, and health needs. So if you need overnight care, drop in visits, or just a good walk in the person for you I’m currently working part-time. I can do overnight stays any day. I work primarily afternoons and nights so I am usually available in the mornings for visits/walks or night visits/walks. If you would like me to stay during the day I would be gone from 1/2pm-7/8pm I do not offer any services in my home. But in your home I would feed, walk, give medications, clean up after, and love on your animal.

About: I treat every pet like they are my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I know every pet has a different personality, so I take the time to get to know what they like, their routine, and any special needs they may have. I will be keeping you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. My goal is for both your toe beand baby and you to have a great experience with me. I care for my families pets every day, so pet care is already built into my routine. My day includes feeding, playtime, grooming as needed, and making sure they get plenty of attention. Because pet care is part of my everyday life, I'm comfortable providing consistent, reliable care for other pets as well. When I'm caring for your baby in your home, I'll make sure they stay on their usual schedule and feel safe in a familiar place. I'll also keep your home clean and tidy, bring in packages or mail if needed, and make sure everything is just as you left it. If your pet stays in my home, they'll have a safe, clean, and loving environment with plenty of attention, potty breaks, exercise, and time to relax. I'll supervise them closely and make sure they always have fresh water and a comfortable place to rest. I believe communication is important. I will be sending regular updates and photos (you can give me a time frame for the updates Ex: every 30min) so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind while you're away. Im here for your baby to feel happy, safe, and loved until you return.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a little girl and had the pleasure of assisting many families with their pet sitting needs prior to Rover. My care includes but is not limited to: walks, scritches, feeding, bathing, playtime, treats and tricks, and tucking in the sleepy pups for bed. I also can assist with administration of medicine per request and with instruction, as well as open line of communication. I have had to give my own pets medication and I am not afraid to assist in that field. I haven't worked too much with seniors but with instructions I am eager to learn! Puppies are a blast, and any training that needs working on I can absolutely assist with. As of right now I am completely open with my schedule other than Tuesdays. I can fit my schedule to your pets sitting needs without any issues. My schedule consists of errands and my own physical health and making sure my own fur babies get the care and love they need. I can work around my schedule to meet clients needs, and will communicate if I am unable to pet sit due to vacations or trips back home to my family. My care includes but is not limited to: walks, scritches, feeding, bathing, playtime, treats and tricks, and tucking in the sleepy pups for bed. I also can assist with administration of medicine per request and with instruction, as well as open line of communication with pet parents via txt and phone call. Videos, pics, and or FaceTime can also be requested per pet visit. I can't wait to meet your fur baby and become best buds!

About: I have many years taking care of all types of animals. Growing up we were always fostering and helping pups out of the streets. Was never a time with less than 5 pups in the house. My love for animals runs deep and my passion to make sure they are taken care of and treated like the goodest pupper on earth goes beyond. Hiring me won’t just mean you hired someone to walk or feed your dog, it means you have one more human your animal can trust and be loved by! I’m currently working full time but am transitioning to better meet my child’s needs with school. I will be available to drop in to your home and check on our furiends during the regulars work week and work hours. Safety and trust come first. Im always aware of my surroundings and make sure all pups are safe. I have knowledge of giving medication as well as wound care if needed. I love to go on walks and play fetch to let the pup breath outside and stretch their legs.

About: With 10 years of pet care experience, I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs. I currently have two large dogs, so I’m confident handling strong, high-energy pups as well as those who need a calmer approach. I’m attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and making sure each pet feels secure and loved while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets consistent attention throughout the day. Between caring for my own dogs and client pets, I’m used to planning my day around walks, feeding times, and play. I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes so pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I also treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping everything clean and secure while you’re away.

About: Hi, I’m Lacy! I’ve been caring for animals since I was 9 through 4-H, where I learned how to care for animals like family. I’m now a dog mom myself, and when I’m not helping people around Yuma as a Realtor, I’d love to help care for your pup too. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone new, so I’ll make sure they feel safe like they’re my own. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because my schedule is pretty open for the most part. I’m happy to work with each pet’s routine and make sure they get the care, attention, and love they’re used to. I’m very open to caring for pets in their own home, where they may already feel most comfortable. I’m happy to follow their normal routine with feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide.

About: I am a senior lady who loves to take care of animals! All are unique in personality and I love figuring them out! I have had many dogs live good long lives, and I am well versed in Senior Care. My experience includes birds, guinea pigs, cats, hamsters, dogs, and open to more! I will keep your home secure and your pets safe, while you are gone and your pets and I will have fun along the way! I am retired, so my daily routine will revol around you home and pet needs. I am up for exercise for myself and your dog, walking is my first choice! Cats are a bit harder and it generally is play, also I am not opposed to leashing and taking your cat outside if that is part of their routine. I need to sit at your home, and I will care for it like it was my own. I notice and decifer the animals que's very quickly, so after a morning potty, usually it's time to eat. Then we would get in some exercise. After that a nap is usually in order.

Arayvia took great care of my two pups for the week and gave me updates throughout her stay. On my way home I missed my connection, so I wouldn’t be getting home until the next day and Arayvia was super helpful and more than willing to stay another night with my pups! Thanks so much for caring for my babies like they were yours!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Blaisdell on Rover is $38.85 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of August 2026, there are 68 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Blaisdell. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Blaisdell walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Blaisdell maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Blaisdell choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Blaisdell. On Rover:

  • 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
