About: My 10 year old and I love it when your babies enjoy a swim in the lake in the summer and/or a walk around the lake with us. Rest assured your fur babies will be happy and healthy while you are away. Our standard poodle is my daughter’s best girl. We go for walks at least once per day around the lake (1.6 miles around). Sometimes we even go more than once and we all get a good workout in! We usually care for dogs here at home, however, I am open to caring for your fur babies at your house, if you prefer! About: I offer compassion, patience and understanding. My experience with dogs began as it does for many when I was a child. My grandfather was a dog trainer. He often brought home stray and injured animals. From him, I gained a wealth of knowledge and respect for animals. Throughout my life I have always had various breeds of dog for companionship and have been fascinated with their behavior and psychology. I have been fortunate to experience first hand the stubbornness of English Bulldogs, the hyper activity of Labrador retrievers, and the gentle weight of mastiff's. Beyond the breed specific traits, I found that each and every dog stands as an individual. Just like people, they all have a unique character and needs. I sincerely hope that you may consider me to care for your companion. I am available after 9:00am weekdays and weekends. However special accommodations can be made. My work is remote and allows for a very flexible work schedule. Your dog sees the world through its nose and as such, we will take our time on walks to let them sniff to their heart’s content. Heavy leash pullers are welcome too. During in home care, I adhere to your dog’s daily routines and schedule of feedings, walks, outdoor breaks and medicines when required. Ample playtime and belly rubs are included at no extra charge. Extended park walks and nature hikes can be scheduled to expose your dog to stimulating new environments and experiences.

About: My love for animals began at a very young age. At the young age of 3, I began riding horses and competing, under the training of my mom. Horses were my entire life and I learned all that I could at a young age. I was handling these 1200+ pound animals by myself and doing all I could with them! In 2016, we moved to a farm where we were able to keep our horses and it also had a dog kennel which was always filled with dogs. From then I started watching how things were run and I got to help handle many different breeds and sizes. As I got older I started to do more for the kennel and got to watch/help administer medication to the older pups. Every morning, before school and before bed, I would go down to the kennel and check on the dogs, refill waters, and give treats! We also had goats, sheep, alpacas, cows, peacocks, chickens, ducks, pigs, and so much more on the farm. I was able to help raise babies and care for all of the animals. It was so amazing to work with all these different animals for years and learn all I could about them! I would go out every morning before school and after school to move the animals from the barn to their paddocks outside. It was my favorite way to start the day. In September 2019, My mom brought home two 8 week old puppies Cinnamon & Pumpkin. They are Toy Australian Shepherds, who are extremely energetic and very strong considering they are small. I started walking them 3 times a day and loved it. Not only was it great exercise for both of us, but I noticed such a difference in their demeanor. From then on, I wanted to do all I could with dogs. In 2020, I started helping a close friend of mine, Alexis, who owns a pet care business (Alexis’s Home Pet Care). I would go on walks with her daily and help as much as possible. She taught me so much about the dog walking side of the business because as we know, it’s not always as easy as it seems. I helped work with the easier dogs and then the reactive dogs as well. Dogs are all different and they all can be triggered by different things, whether it be other dogs passing by, humans, etc. For almost two years, I did all I could to learn everything possible with a great mentor behind me. In March 2022, I felt ready to venture off on my own and I began Devon’s Pet Care. I started with just very few walks a week, and then started to really learn more and started caring for pets overnight. It’s such an amazing feeling to be able to grow with these fur babies. Eventually, my business took off and I felt so happy and accomplished because this was my dream job. I have had the opportunity to work with some very amazing pets and I even have had the chance to have some human-aggressive dogs trust me. Although I have my business, I still work with Alexis, and as she got more into boarding, I am able to help her when she needs it. She is always there to give me advice when needed, as well I am even able to give her advice now. In May of 2023, I looked more into pet boarding and I ended up being able to set up a great kennel-free environment for dogs. It seemed people wanted to stop using “kennel facilities” as the dogs don’t get out as much as they are typically used to. I am so lucky to get the chance to care for amazing dogs and work with some amazing families to make sure their fur babies get the correct care. I now have 30 horses and compete nationally with them as well as being able to raise foals. I helped my mom raise over 10 foals this past season and some were bottle-fed to help get a little start prior to them figuring out how to nurse. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my new puppy, Gemma as well as riding my my horses and spending time with them. I also recently joined my local fire department as a volunteer firefighter. I love being able to help the community! This journey has been amazing, and I am so excited for the future in this field! I do this full time, so your pups will always have the attention they deserve when you are unable to be there for them. I take pride in the care I offer to all pets! Dogs who don’t have a fenced yard will go for at least 3 walks per day with overnight stays, dogs who have a fenced yard will go for at least 1 walk a day during an overnight stay, or drop in visits. Our boarding dogs participate in our doggy day care program, and all dogs will be grouped according to size, for safety!

About: I am a very caring and gentle person. I adore all kinds of animals i have 2 dogs of my own and 2 I rescued!! I started taking care of dogs and cats years ago when I watched my friends pets while they were on vacation. I also help out with rescues to help homeless dogs and cats and have helped a few get a loving home i also foster homeless pets . I enjoy meeting and taking care of dogs/cats and animals. About: I am an experienced dog owner of over 20 years (cats over 10 years). No issue with breed size as I have owned dogs ranging from Bichon size to Rottweilers! Your pets will feel loved and comfortable here in our home. I work from home full time so will have more than enough time to give your pet all of the attention they crave! Walks, play, and feeding times can all be scheduled to your pet's needs. My yard is fully fenced and large enough for fun playtime. My home is large and has wide space for indoor play. Your pet will have my full attention all day as I work from home!

About: I LOVE animals. I believe that caring for them is one of my purposes in life. I have been caring for foster/rescue animals over the last 5 years. I have my own cats and dogs and I have also also been fostering animals through rescues such as Eleventh Hour Rescue and Jersey Pit Rescue. I have worked with all kinds of temperaments and breeds, such as pibble & bully breeds, huskies, terriers, chihuahuas, newborn and young puppies, newborn and young kittens, adult and elderly aged cats, as well as both rescue cats and dogs with specific medical needs. I am currently open to working part-time as I teach during the school year. During the summer I can work flexibly, and during the school year I can help on evenings and weekends. I can additionally help with pet sitting or walking. I can also do house visits in general. I have a fence for my own pups and rescue animals. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life but i’ve been dog sitting for friends and family since I was 15. I’m well trained at taking care of multiple extra large dogs.
