“Irem, Walked my pup this week while he was recovering from neutering and she was wonderful. She took good care to keep him from over exerting himself and was patient with him.”

About: I became a dog mom 2 years ago but I’ve always been a dog and just animal lover my whole life and I’ve also volunteered in animal shelters. My fur baby, Kiera, is a pitbull that we rescued 2 years ago. and shes the biggest mush. I love her dearly and she makes every day so much brighter I’m currently home full-time with my daughter, so I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule to give your pets the attention and care they need. I’m available throughout the week and on weekends, and I have plenty of time for walks, playtime, feeding, potty breaks, and lots of love and attention. I always show respect and responsibility when entering someone else’s home to care or walk their babies because I know I would like the same if someone was taking care of my fur baby
About: I have spent many years caring for my own rescue pups and volunteering at a local animal shelter. I am very patient and focus on understanding your dog's unique needs. Your dog's happiness is my #1 priority. I work from home and have plenty of time to walk and play with your dogs. I love going for long walks with a furry friend. I am available for boarding weekdays and weekends. I am located in a quiet neighborhood with many options for walks and have a large yard for play and activities. I will always make sure your pet is secure on their leash before stepping outside and will keep them safe on walks and around the home. I will ensure that they get the attention that they deserve.
About: I love all kinds of animals and would love to help you out with your fur babies! I have experience with reactive/emotional pets and have dog sit for friends and family in the past. I also love staying active and would love to take your dog on a walk so they get their exercise too:) I have school 3 days a week and am free most afternoons/evenings to help out anyone who needs a drop in or walk for their fur baby:) I have pet sit for friends/family before and always make sure animals are fed, walked, and sleeping. I cannot take animals in my own home as my dog is pretty protective/reactive:)

“Alexandra is incredibly kind and gentle. She was so patient with our Lani, who’s scared of just about everything, and really respected our request to keep greetings and goodbyes calm and low-key to help prevent separation anxiety. She takes her time, used the treats for getting boots on!) And gives Lani the full walk time without rushing. We feel very comfortable with her and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, attentive walker.”

About: I’m a veterinary technician who loves caring for animals! I also have experience as a manager at a doggy daycare. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all kinds and always treat every animal with the same love and attention I’d give my own! I currently am a part time vet tech, I have a 6 month old sidekick so I have a flexible schedule that gives me plenty of time to stop in and give your cat the attention they deserve. I’m available throughout the week for drop-in visits and can work with your cat’s normal feeding and care routine. Whether they want playtime, cuddles, or prefer to silently judge me from across the room, I’m happy to follow their lead! I’ll care for your cat in their own home where they’re most comfortable and stick closely to the routine you provide. I’ll make sure food and water are fresh, litter is clean, doors are secure, and your cat is safe and accounted for. I’m also respectful of shy or nervous cats and won’t force interaction — I’m perfectly willing to earn their trust one treat at a time. And of course, you can expect updates and pictures so you know exactly how your tiny landlord is doing while you’re away. 🐱
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and caring for them has always been second nature to me. Over the years, I’ve also dog‑sat for friends and family giving me experience with different breeds, personalities and routines. Whether your pup loves long walks, belly rubs or just someone to keep them company, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy and loved while you’re away. Because I work from home, pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I’m home throughout the day, which means plenty of time for walks, play breaks, feeding and keeping an eye on your pet’s comfort. Whether it’s a midday walk, extra snuggles or sticking to their usual routine, I’m able to give them steady, reliable care all week long. I have a quiet, calm and pet‑friendly home that’s perfect for animals who enjoy a peaceful environment. “Amber has been great taking care of our large but nervous rescue pup, Teddy. She is clearly knowledgeable in how to work with dogs who are not immediately trusting and more reserved. Now Teddy really enjoys his weekly walks and getting to sit with Amber for some treats. I would continue to recommend her for any of your pet care needs.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
