About: I have been around pets my whole life and have been sitting for friends and family for about 3 years now. Pets are not only adorable but also fun to be around :) I am currently finishing up my last year of university at home. I will be completing a year of student teaching before graduating with a teaching license. I will be 100% available on weekends but my weekday availability will depend on my student teaching schedule. I will follow your pets established routine at home and try to make them feel the most comfortable as possible. I plan on taking care of your pet as if it were my own!

About: I have lifelong experience caring for animals of all kinds! I grew up on a farm, where caring for horses, livestock, and other animals was simply part of everyday life. Today, I continue that passion by fostering dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens through my local humane society, giving animals a safe, loving place to grow and thrive until they find their forever homes. I also have experience caring for small animals such as guinea pigs and rabbits, so whether your family includes four hooves, four paws, or tiny whiskers, they'll be in capable hands. As a teacher, I'm patient, dependable, and attentive to routines and individual needs, and I know every animal has its own personality. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or needs a little extra care, I'll treat them like they're part of my own family and keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can relax while you're away. My schedule is very flexible, allowing me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, medication, or simply keeping them company, I enjoy making animal care a natural part of my daily routine and ensuring each pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable. Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide consistent, attentive care in a calm, loving environment. You can also expect regular updates and photos, so you'll always know your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.

About: I have been caring for all different types and sizes of animals since a very young age. I used to work at a veterinary/daycare/boarding/grooming job and now work as a vet assistant! I have also pet sit for friends, family, even neighbors! I am very confident in caring for multiple pets at a time, feeding, administering medications, training, bathing, even socializing pets! I do also have experience with horses as well as other barn animals. I do have my own horse so I am able to care for livestock as well! I currently work full time as a veterinary assistant but am able to care for pets Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Sundays, and Saturdays after 3pm! My schedule may vary sometimes but that is typically what my weeks look like! I do live in a 2 bedroom house with a yard yard. I do have 3 dogs and 3 cats but I do have a crate and am able to crate your pet if needed!

About: My love for dogs started when I was a kid—my grandpa taught me how to create gentle bonds with our family’s dogs. I became the one with the dog obsessed-personality and for two years I volunteered at the Animal Shelter in SLO, CA. It was so rewarding and all I ever want to do is make sure these animals always feel loved! Any time someone needs an amateur trainer, they call me! I love dogs, and want to make my passion for them into a career. Moving to Oregon has been a whirlwind, and I’m excited to continue working with the community and their furry friends! I’ve recently moved to Oregon and I’m ready to get back into dog-sitting for the time being! That means my availability is wide open and I can drop in for quick visits or weekend stays. My own experience with dogs is unorthodox to some; it’s their world and I just live in it. I love them inside and following me around and don’t mind them on furniture or in rooms. I have experience with crate training if that is what is preferred, as well as dog walking since we learned tactics in the animal shelter. I also like to expand on dog enrichment to keep their minds engaged as well as their bodies!

About: I've been an animal lover as long as I can remember. When I was 9 years old, my Dad got me my first Golden Retriever for Valentine's Day 1998. Her name was Star. I wanted a Golden because I fell in love with Shadow from "Homeward Bound". Star was my best friend, and we trained together in Canine Good Citizenry and agility. She could jump through hula hoops, over my arm, and she knew all sorts of tricks. I also love horses and used to spend summers and spring breaks on my cousin's farm in Apopka, Florida where she was the Barn Manager for a gal who rode in the Irish Olympics for the Equestrian Team. I had my own horse when I was younger, but we sadly had to sell her when my mother passed away when I was 9 years old. I've had dogs and cats off and on my entire life, but sadly, I just recently moved to Oregon and do not have any pets of my own right now for a few reasons: The first is that I'm working diligently to get established in Oregon and currently have a Mon-Thursday schedule with the City of Salem that requires me to be away from home for over 10 hours a day. Second, my roommate has a sick and aging cat who is not doing well, and we do not want to stress him out by adding pets to the house right now. Hopefully, my roommate will be able to reconsider when things change, but for now, Bok Choy (and his comfort) is our main priority at my house. Third, I'm hoping to move my Dad out to Oregon within the next 3 years, but for now, he is living alone as a retiree in Georgia, where I grew up. He is very attached to our dog Hank, and even though I'm definitely Hank's favorite person, I couldn't stand the thought of separating those two because I felt like my Dad needs Hank more than I do as Hank is his reason to get up in the morning! I miss Hank more than words can express, but I think we made the right call because Hank does not like being alone, and Dad can accommodate this as he is retired whereas I am in the main career years. I have previous dog sitting experience, but sadly, my identity was hacked, and I lost all of my photos on my Facebook account and lost many of my contacts through my old email address that I lost access to. I have also done amateur dog training and hope to get a professional certification in dog training within the next 12 months. I am happy to house sit during my work week if you only have cats that need tending after office hours. I won't be accepting house sitting for dogs unless there is an understanding of my work schedule and the dog has access to a doggy door and a yard or puppy pads are used during the day. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who can be with your dog during the business day instead of requesting me if you have dogs and need assistance during my work week (Mon-Thurs). This is a Side Hustle for me, but it also the more meaningful of my jobs because I love animals more than anything else in this world, and being around them is good for my mental health. I currently work Monday-Thursday until 4:30PM so it will be difficult for me to provide overnight dog sitting until Thursday after 5 PM unless your dog has access to a doggy door or puppy pads. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who does this full time if you need assistance during business hours Monday-Thursday. When I am at your house, your pet is my priority. If they need exercise or stimulation, we will make that happen. I will almost feel guilty for getting paid for it because it will literally be my pleasure. I will ask you to leave detailed instructions that will make my life easier and expect you to extend trust to me to do my job well. I understand it is difficult and that trust is earned and not freely given, but we need to have a clear discussion before you leave about what your expectations are so I can decide If I can meet those in a way that will not cause me undue anxiety. If you need someone after 5PM Mon-Thursday or anytime on the weekends, I am your sitter!

About: I am a lifelong animal lover and pet owner. I specialize in both dog and cat care from training and exercising, to feeding and brushing. I am a proud owner of several huskies and a Siamese cat currently. I am a teacher during the day during the school year but have evenings free and any time on the weekends. I’m available most anytime during the summer months. I am a runner and a dog sport enthusiast. I frequently engage in urban mushing with my huskies. I can run or walk your dog and I am also skilled in basic dog obedience skills and pet care. I enjoy interacting with pets in ways to keep them active and happy.

About: I have grown up being surrounded by dogs! My dad always had dogs in our home. I raised my pitbull/lab mixed breed dog Nala from when I was the age of Ten until she passed away when I was 21 years old. She taught me a lot about being a pet owner as well as a person! She was my best friend🤍 I am a very active, responsible, and empathetic person! I enjoy being outdoors going on long walks, hikes, and runs! I’m always down for a furry friend to tag along :) My current work schedule is 6am to 6pm Sunday through Tuesday :) I am available throughout the week on my days off for some pet care! About: I have a wide variety of experience between helping you continue manner training, to grooming small dogs. When I’m not loving on your dog, I’m loving mine. Helping pets feel their best is my passion, so seeing your dog multiple times a day will make me happy. I do rover full time Maintaining your house rules including your dog’s training and safety are top priority. Keeping track of your dogs behavior and making a relationship is imperative.

About: I’ve been raised around animals and have always adored them. I am 20 years old and have four animals of my own. A dog named Panda, two cats Severus and Luna, and a bearded dragon named Sirius. I truly see animals as family, not just pets. I worked at a dog/cat boarding kennel in high school and have always had animals of my own. I work as a Nanny and am a full time online college student. I have lots of availability during mornings-afternoons for doggie walks, or just pet check ins. I’d love to help take care of your beloved animals 😊❤️ I also have experience with extremely fearful dogs. I’m currently in my Sophomore year of college online. So I have a pretty flexible schedule. I have morning-afternoon availability every day. And I frequently have evening-weekend availability. While staying in your home I will care for your pets like they’re my own. I will take them on multiple daily walks, feed and bathe them if needed. While I’m lucky to have my own Dog I know lots of great doggie parks and dog friendly hiking spots if that’s something you would be comfortable with me doing with your furry companion.

About: I have been pet sitting and volunteering since I was 10. I have worked with shy dogs, reactive dogs, overly friendly dogs, puppies, anything you can think of. I also work with cats, even the ones who are not fans of visitors. I’ve gone through vet tech school and I have a lot of experience in training as well. I am very patient and work with your wants and needs. I have experience administering medication and can work with most needs, just ask! :) **I can accept dogs who don’t get along with others, just let me know. My dogs are crate trained and I can keep them seperate.** I am available at almost anytime of any day. Pet sitting is my passion and currently my only job, and when I am working I still make sure that your pet can be my priority. I can work with whatever environment you have. Apartment, large home with yard, there are so many ways to still interact and tire out your pup :)

About: Hello my name is sarah I am 24 and I have been house/pet sitting for about 11 years now and have plenty of experience with farm animals and also have plenty of references you can contact if need be I also have my license and my own vehicle in case I need to take anyone to the vet. I also do not have a job other than this which means I will be with your animals 24/7 I also have worked with aggressive and special needs animals I also have tons of experience with exotic animals and birds like kangaroo's, big birds, and insects I currently don't have a job because I have been in 3 different accidents as a passenger my last accident was in 2022 and honestly I shouldn't be alive but I am glad I survived due to that accident I have a bulging disk in my lower back this is my only job and income. About: I have been a dog, cat, and house sitter for many years for friends and acquaintances. I am open to all kinds of animal and have had experiences handling them. I work in the mornings and rarely in the afternoons so I have a lot of free time. I also have a dog and cat car seat available I have a large yard that is not fenced in but is fun to play in. My apartment is clean and very pet friendly. I am nearby lots of trails and paved walkways to take the animals on adventures. I also have a car to travel with the animal to parks. I work in the mornings and have lots of free time in the afternoon. I had a high needs animal therefore I have experienced with that along with caring for senior animals.

“It was my first time leaving my 2 cats. Cats were fed separately, played with and taken care of. When I came home the house was in as good as shape as when I left it. Instructions were followed (and I had lots of instructions!). My cats were both clearly very happy. Jill was responsive and communicative of both good news and problems. Jill was really flexible: we were able to come to an arrangement that didn't fit nicely into the Rover app's scheduling. I would trust Jill to take care of my cats again, and I would recommend her to others as well.”

About: I've taken care of all kinds of pets. For over twenty years, friends, families, business associates and everybody's been happy and i'm even animal cpr trained I am currently not working. Uh, so I have lots of time to spend with your pets playing with them. I have six acres, and i'm always outside with the dog, so never outside alone. I have a partially fenced yard. I have 6 acres, and I have trails through the property. But I never let the dogs go out by themselves. I always walk them through my property at least four times a day.

It’s a gift to be able to connect with animals. I love to return the positive energy an animal gives. I feel like every animal deserves kindness. I feel like I have a gift to be able read, understand, calm and relax and add happiness to an animal’s day. They are therapy for me as much as I feel I am for them. I’m happiest and genuinely feel most at-ease with animals. It’s important for me they feel comfortable with and around me. I know that much like human children, routine is very important to pets. If you need me to check in on them, feed /water them, potty breaks/short walks/close-by parks/play toss-the-ball, hug/cuddle/companion-time or stay at your home I am available to help. I develop unique connections to each animal I’m around and grateful to be around each one. Whatever a pet-owner needs me to do to help make their pet’s day better, I’m up for the challenge. Animals make my day, daily! Whether it be my friend’s dogs & cats or the Brahma bull that is up the road, I try to see an animal each day. I do have experience with animals that have high-anxiety, special needs and abusive backgrounds. I currently have a few tears in my meniscus which is preventing me to do rigorous walks. I will be scheduling surgery soon but that does not prevent me from tossing a ball around for a dog. I look forward to meeting and caring for your pet(s)! I am looking to assist with in-home day/night(s) stays, drop-in visits and walks. I’m available anytime and look forward to meeting you & your pet(s)! Although I do have a wonderful, small fenced-in yard, I live in an 800 sq ft home therefore, I think it's best to go where the pet is most-comfortable (their own home).
