Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have had a dog since I was 3 years old—she was my best friend and was by my side until she passed away at the age of 19. When I lived in Turkey, I had two dogs, and I brought both of my sweet girls with me when I moved to the USA. Sadly, they have both crossed the rainbow bridge and are now our little angels. ❤️ Today, our family includes two little dogs and one sweet cat. For example, I recently cared for a large-breed puppy who wasn’t used to playing with small dogs. To make sure everyone was comfortable and safe, I divided my home into separate areas so he could have his own space while my dogs had theirs. I also moved my workspace next to his area so I could spend more time with him throughout the day. Since he had a lot of puppy energy, I took him on walks more frequently than I normally would to help him get his energy out and keep him happy and relaxed. My goal is always to understand each pet individually and create a routine where they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.
