“We love Beau and always feel so assured knowing that they’re going to come stay with our dog. Our dog can be pretty shy and nervous around strangers but he opened right up to Beau and seemed like he had a great time! I love that they send lots of photos and updates throughout the stay and they always leave our house neat and tidy. 10/10!!”

“I have a reactive dog who struggles to meet new people, especially men. And wow! I was totally blown away by how Robert used such confidence and gentleness with my dog. He was able to snag Winston to the dog park for the first time in years successfully. I am honestly so grateful and surprised to have found such a solid dog sitter. I cannot recommend booking him enough!!”

“Shawn was great with our large fur baby family. She gave them all personalized attention and was attentive, responsive, and patient with them, especially our pup who takes more time to trust new people. She was very communicative with us via updates & photos, so we were comforted with the knowledge that our babies were well cared for during our trip. Thanks so much, Shawn!”

“Bryan was amazing, both with Suki and with us! We have never had a house sitter/dog sitter in our home, so it was understandably a little nerve wracking to let a stranger over. But Bryan was a class act, gave us so many funny updates, and left the house cleaner than we left it. Suki was so happy to see us, and clearly very at ease and well taken care of. We will absolutely have Bryan over again to take care of Suki and our home!”

“Cory is absolutely amazing. He stayed at my house for 8 days with my two King Charles Cavaliers, one is blind. He took such good care of them and sent me a lot of photos and messages. They were so happy when I got home and I don’t think they even missed me! I definitely recommend Cory you will be glad you did.”

“Amazing caregivers to my sensitive 4 year old golden that hates kennels. I am so appreciative of Jean & Elena. They give my dog plenty of outside time and clearly kept him calm, comfortable and happy. Thank you so much, Jean & Elena!”

“First experience with a commercial house/pet sitter. Jessica was on time for the interview and updated me with texts on my pet while I was gone. Very excellent sitter, will book with her in the future. Thank You, Jessica!”

“Ta'Leah was amazing! Very communicative and friendly. My typically shy pup warmed right up to her and cuddled. Ta'Leah left my home very clean and my dog is happy! I can't recommend her enough and we will definitely be using her again.”

About: I’ve spent my life around animals and caring for them has always been second nature to me. From energetic pups to independent cats, I take the time to understand each pet’s unique personality and needs. I’ve provided care for pets of all ages, temperaments, and sizes—whether it’s daily walks, playtime, administering medication, or just being a calming, familiar presence while their people are away. I prioritize consistency, safety, and lots of love. My goal is always to ensure your pets feel as comfortable and cared for as they do when you’re home. I’m currently working part-time so I’m available, as my work schedule is flexible! Whatever your needs, I’ll try my best to accommodate yours and your animal’s timeline! Secure Home Entry/Exit: I double-check doors, gates, and windows to prevent escapes or accidents, especially with curious cats or excitable dogs. Leash & Harness Checks: Before every walk, I ensure leashes and harnesses are properly fitted and secure.

“Anam stayed with our 2 small dogs at our home for 12 nights. She stayed in touch with us, letting us know how the dogs were and sent photos and videos. It gave us immeasurable peace of mind knowing that she was looking after our dogs and our home. We will definitely hire Anam again.”

“Sam is so great with our fur babies!!! This dynamic duo can be a handful for someone less experienced, but to know them is to LOVE them and they truly take to Sam like she’s been part of this “pack” forever. She sent daily check-ins with pictures and left our home spic and span. We are so grateful we found her!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs for the last 9 years and have 2 dogs of my own who I have raised since they were 8 weeks old. They are currently 7 years old and 7 months old giving experience with all ages and extreme patience after months of raising the puppy. I work from home and my dogs get a great level of attention as a result of this. I am always available and able to provide frequent walks and stimulation. For local clients I can be available in a pinch due to my flexible work schedule. I have two dogs and can take dogs who do well with other dogs. Assuming they all get along they would get the same treatment as my own dogs. Plenty of walks, at least one long walk a day, lots of play time, and a consistent schedule. House sitting will include regular visits along with extended time spent with your pet during the work day as well. I am always available for walking appointments with my flexible schedule.

About: I always had pets around me growing up. We had a horse in our backyard as a kid. My parents were fond of Old English Sheepdogs and we always had a variation or two around. The best time was when they had puppies! There were always cats who walked freely in our backyard and came by for treats. When I move to the city, I always had cat friends. I often got to cat sit for them when they would go out of town. My neighbor’s cat in our Manhattan brownstone, spent more time in my apartment than hers because she preferred my window view. I have no pets now because my husband of many years, is all allergic to everything: bird, dander, cat, and dog hair, even Live cut Christmas tree trees! Now, my substitute teaching job has allowed me time to spend with pets. This is why I would be happy to take care of your cat and dog whenever you need pet care. I have been a substitute teacher for the past five years and am planning a hiatus from teaching. I plan to devote my days to helping my kids get to school and taking care of pets. Being a freelancer has taught me many things: how to adapt to new situations, be flexible with schedule changes and how to manage my time productively. I have taken care of cats for friends who have been out of town or country for long periods. I drive and can easily walk to or from a large section of my neighborhood.

“Kimberly is organized, communicative and responsive, responsible and caring. Most importantly, it's obvious she loves dogs. We couldn't be happier and more comfortable with her looking after our 2 somewhat spécial needs medium to large dogs.”

Dominique Y.
“I can’t think of anyone more perfect to care for your pets than Dominique. She has the biggest heart of anyone I know, and her love for animals runs incredibly deep. I had the privilege of watching her care for her senior dog, Maxine, and it was one a beautiful experience to witness. Dominique gave Maxine the life every dog deserves, full of love, adventure, and tenderness. She took her to the beach, on road trips, to watch sunsets, and made every moment special. Despite the extra care Maxine needed, Dom always made her a priority. She was patient and loving. She treats animals like family, and you can trust that your dog or cat will be safe, loved, and genuinely cared for in her hands. Anyone would be lucky to have her as their sitter :)”

Alyson Z.

“Alyson did a great job with our almost 15year old Boston. He had more medical issues before our trip and she did a great job with his medications and making sure he was eating.”

Amy S.Star Sitter
“Amy took such good care of my cat while I was traveling. She did not only what you told her but also beyond. She washed my cat's water fountain (without me asking) and found out that it's time to replace the filter. My cat is usually afraid of strangers. However, Amy was patient and kept playing with her. At the end, my cat was sitting and sleeping on her laps! I am so happy to have Amy to watch my cat for me!”

Kingsgate pet parents share their Rover experiences
Susan took good care of the two pets and our house while we were out of town for 9 days. She was extra patient with our skittish cat, and our cat definitely seems happier than usual when we are back home from a long trip. The house is also left spotless when we are back. Really appreciate her service and would hire her again for future house sitting needs

This was the first time we used Shana's services. She did a wonderful job of taking care of our two dogs and bunny. The morning we were leaving, one of our dogs developed an ear infection. Shana really stepped up, managed meds and got her to the vet for treatment. She also sent some amazing photos daily...photographer quality! Will definitely hire her again.

Angela shows lots of care and attention to the pups she watches over. Her communication is frequent and sends lots of pics too. She showed up every day on time and was consistent in care. Molly, my pup, had so much fun playing and was sad to see Angela and her crew leave.

I would highly recommend Kim to care for your pets. This was my first time having a house or pet sitter so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Kim was extremely responsive at all stages of the job. She was kind to my dog Teddy and sent lots of pictures! She checked with me to be sure that her schedule would work for me and for Teddy. Kim cleaned her sheets and towel and remade her bed, which was extra helpful. She cleaned up the kitchen and was a good houseguest. It was a good experience.

We had the opportunity to have Valeria take care of our two fur babies over the weekend, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The dogs seemed to have a great time and clearly enjoyed interacting with her. She stayed at our home, giving them all the attention they needed, and kept us updated regularly with pictures and videos. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such caring hands. I would absolutely recommend her to others and will definitely be booking her again for future sitting needs!

Erik was fantastic! He respected all of the (many) notes we left for our Frenchie, Otis, and took care of every single one of his needs. Otis bonded with him quickly—you can tell Erik genuinely cares about the animals he watches. He stayed at our house while we were away, kept everything clean, and most importantly, made us feel totally at ease knowing Otis was in good hands. Highly recommend!

I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about Kaden and his girlfriend. They took amazing care of my Havanese puppy, Kainalu, while I was at work, and I’m so grateful for the kindness, patience, and attention they showed him. Kainalu is a sweet pup, but he can be a little shy and take time to warm up to new people and environments. Kaden and his girlfriend were incredibly understanding of that. They gave him space when he needed it, moved at his pace, and slowly built trust with him through gentle care and consistent attention. It wasn’t long before Kainalu began to open up—not just to them, but also to their two adorable and friendly dogs, Milo and S’mora. Watching him go from cautious to completely comfortable was such a relief and a joy. Kaden kept me updated throughout the day with messages and pictures, showing how Kainalu was doing, which made me feel so much more at ease. By the time I got home, he was relaxed, happy, and clearly had a full day of love, play, and care. They truly treated him like part of their family, and it made all the difference. If you’re looking for trustworthy, patient, and truly compassionate dog sitters, I couldn’t recommend Kaden, his girlfriend, and their lovely pups more. I’ll absolutely be reaching out to them again in the future!
