1. John M.
“John did a spectacular job watching three very high energy dogs (including a puppy!) We felt safe and comfortable having him in our house while we were on vacation. He left a notebook filled with detailed notes about his time with our dogs. Would hire him again any time!”
2. Kerri L.
“Kerri was amazing. Stayed at our house and took excellent care of our Great Dane while we were away on a long weekend trip. Sent us updates and left everything super neat and tidy! Look forward to having her sit again :)”
3. Rita L.
“Rita, you are simply amazing! We cannot thank you enough for taking such care of our Knoxie boy for 2 days. Knox is a very anxious and nervous pit bull rescue. He took to Rita immediately. Knox was also having belly issues most likely from stress, and she took such good care of him. She updated me the whole time with pics etc. and spent lots of time with him. I was so stressed leaving him, but she put me at ease. We are blessed to have found Rita!”
4. Delilah E.
“I recently used the Rover app for the first time as I was in a pinch after plans for a a family member to pet sit fell through at the last minute. Enter Delilah — she was fantastic! She responded within a few minutes of the request, agreed to visit the day before she was scheduled to meet the animals and learn what she needed to know in terms of logistics. She was prompt in her arrival time and communicative throughout sending photos to let me know my fur babies were doing well. I’d definitely book with her again and recommend her to others who are in search of a pet sitter too! 🙌”
5. Paul A.
“This was our first time using Rover and the overall experience could not have been better! Paul is a kind and gentle natured young man, with an easy-going personality. He was punctual, and kept in contact with us while we were away. He shared photos of Marlee and we just loved to see our little guy! Marlee was doing the same things in the photos that he does when we are home and we found that to be reassuring. Marlee went straight to Paul at our "Meet and Greet",and was quickly at ease with him. We felt that this was a good match right away. Paul has that "something" that attracts animals to him, it's truly a gift. I would absolutely recommend Paul if you are in need of pet sitting.”
6. Chelsea S.
“Another successful Pet Visit by Ms. Chelsea! I am so relieved that she is here to help me with my Pets. Thank you Rover and Chelsea for helping me with the 4! Happy New Year!”
7. Brandy S.
“Brandy did a great job with our animals. Our dog with separation anxiety did well under her care- she was kind enough to come earlier when we were experiencing a storm. Very communicative and you can tell she loves being around pets. We will be using her again in the future!”
8. Leilani & Jessie M.
“Absolutely wonderful! I received so many pictures and updates about my pups at home while we were on vacation. Such a trustworthy person too!”
9. Carly B.
About: It can take a lot for any animal to scare me, I’ve grown up around them and I know more often than not they’re more scared than we are, so I just want to offer them some help and attention! I’m fond of all types of dogs, and all type of weather so they’ll always get a walk in! Caring for pets is a great source of joy in my life, and hopefully a full time job! I want to help people and animals in ways I think can matter, so this is apart of my life! I’m can be more of a solitary person when it comes to people, but I love being with animals! So if you need a home sitter you can trust with your baby, I’m your woman! I’m fine with a fenced in yard to play or taking any age of dog on a nice walk!
10. Jolene F.
“Jolene was beyond amazing. We had something come up and our original plans for our boys got cancelled. She was available last minute, was very responsive, and she is extremely polite. She kept me updated with photos and videos. She loved on our boys like they were how own! I am definitely a crazy dog mom and she put me at complete ease! We will definitely use her again!”
11. Fraya S.
“Fraya did a great job with our dog. She took her out often to throw the ball and sent pictures to us while we were away. She cleaned up after herself and left our home better than before she came. We will definitely be requesting Fraya again.”
12. Brittany G.
About: I am currently a student in my second semester of undergraduate studies at UMBC, with a major in computer engineering. Up until recently, I have cared for my two senior Yorkie-poos at home. They both developed Cushing's Disease at around age 13, and one was just recently diagnosed as diabetic. This has given me a lot of experience in administering medicine and paying strict attention to the dog's behavior, to see if they are showing signs of discomfort. After moving out of my family home and into the Catonsville-Arbutus area, my sister and her husband purchased a Yellow Lab puppy, and I am responsible for caring for him on my sister's and brother-in-law's long days at work. This has given me a refresher in caring for puppies and in training puppies. Having lived in a house with pets my entire life, the transition to on campus life was made very challenging and lonely due to the lack of animals. I would love to be able to offer your pet great care in exchange for making a new friend. I'm currently on summer break and am not working. I am available at any time. Given that it's been so hot out, I tend to wait until the evening to take my dogs on a walk. I have 2 acres of land and 2 30 ft. leads for the yard. I have 2 friendly dogs at home (13 years and 4 years). My cattle dog requires, who was a rescue, requires a lot of stimulation throughout her day. I've found that she thoroughly enjoys learning new tricks! My dogs eat three times a day, but I am more than capable of accommodating your pup's feeding schedule. I also have plenty of time for frequent potty breaks!
13. Melisha G.
“This was the first time hiring Melisha for a multiple day/night stay, and we’re checking the calendar to figure out when to hire her next. Updates and pictures provided regularly. The 2 dogs and cat couldn’t have been in more capable hands. Even with a bit of a ruckus with the 2 huskies hanging up on the poor cat, Melisha was calm, cool and collected. I can’t come up with more words of praise for all that she did in the care of our 3 pets. She’s going to be tired of seeing our name pop up in her notifications. :)”
14. Lonnie P.
“Lonnie handled my high energy big dogs wonderfully. He clearly cared about their health and well being, which means a lot to my husband and me when we put our babies in someone else's care. Thanks Lonnie, we'll see you next time!”
15. Shae S.
“Shae did an amazing job with my fur babies. Made me feel at ease while I was on vacation with the daily pictures... Would definitely recommend her and I will definitely be using her services again... Thank You So Much Shae... Until next time 🐶😼😁”
16. Milena B.
“I’ve known Milena for about 10 years and she has always been an animal lover. She always makes her pets feel like they’re part of the family and never hesitates to give animals new homes. She’s also reliable and puts her full effort into anything she does. She would be a great asset to Rover.com and the animals will love her.”
17. Samantha C.
“We were so happy with the care that Sam provided for our babies!! She stayed in with our anxious pup and gave her so much love. Her communication was great and she was always checking in. We came home to happy animals and a very clean house!”
18. Silvia & Roberto L.
“Silvia is fantastic! She was very attentive to our dogs, sent updates when we asked and sent us lots of pictures. She has beautiful dogs of her own and is a vet. We felt very safe leaving our dogs in her care for the weekend. Thanks again!”
19. Jaide D.
“Jaide was attentive, communicated well with updates, and gave our dogs a lot of love!”
20. Alysha G.
“Alysha was great! Since she works in a veterinarian’s office, she loves animals and is comfortable around them.”
