“Have a small concern. When we got home the following morning after your visit, there was no dry food in Minnie's bowl and the water level was done to about 1/2 inch. The only thing we can think is that Minnie was full of anxiety and just ate and drank everything. To make sure that doesn't happen again, In the future we would love it if you could fill both bowls just before you leave at the end of your visits, whether that be morning visit, evening visit, or both. Minnie is very slow to warm up and is likely very scared and nervous about us leaving her. We will try the approach of filling both bowls at the conclusion of all future visits and see how that works out. Thanks.”

Tam has abandonment issues and can be a bit shy especially when in a new environment & me being the over enthusiastic cat mama that I am, can be worried leaving her for such long periods of time. Alexis was THE ABSOLUTE BEST in helping ease my heart and mind as I went away for the week. She sent me SEVERAL detailed updates daily with lots of photos and by the end of the trip Tam was following Alexis around the house (which means she’s extra comfortable!) Alexis was sweet enough to give Tam her own private space in the guest room but also gave her the option to roam free if she’d like (tam loves her solitude), lots of playtime, lots of patience and lots of love I would absolutely book with Alexis again! About: I grew up with a cat as part of the household. I've taken care of cats since I was 12. I have two cats that I rescued from my local shelter, they were the most difficult to place because of prior abuse before coming to the shelter. Now, they are among the most affectionate and friendly cats I've known. They get along with other cats after a couple of sniffs and a hiss on their part.
About: While I have no cats of my own, I've been around these sweet creatures my whole life! From barn cats to itty bitty foster kittens, to the skittish and "velcro" cats. I'm experienced with giving cats injections for things such as diabetes and oral medications for heart troubles. I also know how important it is to come back to a nice smelling home, so trust the litter box will be cleaned!!

I will take all this experience and use it to provide the same amount of love an attention for you furry family members as I did for Xander. My husband and I have firefighter/EMT schedules so we're often home during the day, and handle emergencies well. We have an irregular schedule in my house. You will have to check my calendar for availability. We are often home during the week and daytime. My care for my dogs and foster dogs depend on the dog. My female dog is a princess who sleeps on the couch, but my male needs to be kenneled to keep out of trouble. We have a dog door to allow our dogs freedom to go in and out as they please.

About: I have had dogs for the past 30 years. I am an approved foster home for a pug rescue. I have rescued several dogs! The last two years, I have been a dog walker! The dog I recently rescued was a client I walked whose mom was disabled. She needed more care than her mom could give her. We bonded from the first walk, and I knew I could be her forever home! I have a blind/deaf pug as well. I do a lot of housesitting and dogsitting it’s always a joy! My home is on an acre. I have my own business out of my home, and so I am home all day and your pet will not be left alone! I am home all day running my health coach business. Pet care will keep me busy and your animal happy..and the resident dogs will love having playmates! I do have a portion of my yard fenced in so the dogs have lots of room to run and play and be dogs. I work from home on a part-time basis so I am with the dogs the majority of the time. When the dogs come to my home, it is like they are on their own little vacation. They have a good time playing with the other dogs and go home tired.

We live on a farm that opens up to the woods so we love to exercise and we also love to hit the trails at Solider's Delight or the Westminster pond. All sizes and breeds are welcome. If they need special care or medication, I am also able to assist with that. If there's any other pets in the house, I am knowledgeable with most. You’re welcome to call and check in at any time, and you’ll receive text or email updates daily. I hope you will consider me in your search to find someone to care for your pet family. I work full time, but happy to help your family out with the furry, feathery, or scaling member of the family just like my own. Just like my own! About: I have experience working as a veterinary technician. This experience gives me the skillls to handle older pets, pets that need medications, and pets that have certain medical needs. I have about four years experience currently with pet sitting and have references if you would like them. Overall, I am pretty flexible with my schedule and am normally available on short notice. Depending on your preference I could take your dogs on walks around your neighborhood or take them to a local trail. It is completely up to you what you would like me to do with your pets. I also offer dog boarding and doggy day care. I do have pets if my own, but have the ability to keep them completely separate. I would love to watch your pets for you! I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time for your pets! This gives me the ability to let your pets out every 2-4 hours and make sure they get plenty of play time! I have a fenced in yard and they get a whole level of the house to themselves! I do have pets of my own, but have the ability to keep them separate if needed. They would get plenty of play time and I can walk them around the neighborhood too!

While I do not have any pets currently, I have had dogs and other animals all my life (30 years). I have a lot of experience with them in many capacities. I have experience with senior dogs as well. What is your pets daily routine? How do they do with new people and kids? I like to leave something on the tv for the dogs for some “white noise” when I leave the house. We even had a pre booking visit with him with short notice and Dorian was very accommodating. All in all we were pleased with the service he provided for our little guy, Taysom. 😊”
