Please write down anything that I need to be aware of and clear instructions on how to best care for your pet. Example, love walks but afraid of amazon/fedex trucks, starts to pull if they see another dog.

About: I had a pet-sitting service for 15 years, and then I started caring for dogs in my home through Dog Vacay. I took a break to care for my ailing mother and then I became a Nanny to a newborn boy. He is now 4 years old and my services are no longer needed. I am also a missionary to Uganda. I've been helping with a woman's ministry since 2016, I can not be idle, so I'm reactivating my Rover profile so that I can care for dogs in my home, or care for cats and dogs in your home. When I care for dogs in my home, they are treated as family. No crates, just cuddles. I am retiring as a Nanny and I am reactivating my Rover account. I can take care of your pups in my home while you are away. No crates, just cuddles. I'm also available to come to your home to care for your pets, whether for daily walks or around-the-clock care. I care for cats as well as dogs. While I am in your home, I will also bring in your mail/packages, water your plants, and bring in or take out your trash bins. I have a fenced-in yard area. I will never leave your pups in the yard alone. I always sit with them. I can take them for daily walks as well. I don't use crates/kennels in my home. Your pet will be treated as my two Maltese dogs are.

Now, I dedicate myself to ensuring your pets are happy, healthy, and loved while you’re away. I view this as a career, not just a side gig, and I approach every booking with the care and attention your pets deserve. My schedule allows me to dedicate most of my day to providing exceptional care for your pets. I only go into the office for a few hours each day, leaving me plenty of time for activities like daily walks, playtime, and cuddles. While staying at your home, I will follow all instructions, give daily updates, leave it cleaner than I found it, and am more than happy to engage in house management tasks as well. Don’t be scared to be picky - I prefer that actually.

Just depends if I’m in town or not :) I always make sure to follow the owners rules + on instructions to care for their pets! About: Hi, I'm Marissa! I'm one of those people who, before I came out of my shell, spent more time with animals than people. Sometimes I still do. I've had dogs and cats all my life, and also rode horses starting just before I was 4. I currently have two cats (they're my best friends!) and can’t have any more animals due to my lease so I’d love to love on yours! I have 5 years of experience on Rover and another 2 independently dog walking and sitting before that. I’ve cared for many kinds of dogs and cats, fish, turtles, donkeys, a family of racoons, and more. And I have a lot of experience caring for older animals and animals with medical conditions. I also used to volunteer with my mom transporting rescue dogs with Echo Dog White German Shepherd rescue. Most of my clients are in Brentwood, Franklin, Nolensville areas, but I live in Dickson myself. Whether you're towards the city, on the west side near me, or somewhere else, I'm happy to help you! I do work kids sports photography in the spring and fall, mostly weekends and a few nights sometimes. Shoots are 3-4 hours in the afternoon/evenings plus drive time or sometimes can be up to 8-10 hours on Saturdays, but if that's too long to be gone, they allow me to be flexible so I can always say I can only do part of the day. Other than that, I am mostly a homebody, and once I'm there I'm probably not going anywhere. My capital W Work is writing - I'm 10 years into an elven magic realism epic screenplay series, it is my passion project and pet/housesitting gives me the time to tend to that vision, and fur babies to keep me company! Walking and playing with them keeps me active and in my beloved nature. It is a great joy to give people peace of mind while they travel, knowing their home and furbabies are in good hands. I know how stressful it can be - I grew up in the Northeast so my mom and I would drive up there to visit, but we would often bring our dog and cats with us on that 13 hr ride because we didn’t have anyone we trusted to watch them. It’s a great time, unless it’s a family emergency. Now, I get to be that person for other people! My clients relaxing, knowing that they can have fun or do what needs doing and that their fur babies are taken care of at home - that is priceless and never gets old. If you have 3 or more pets, I'm happy to give a discount. I know how hard it can be trying to find care for them when you have many. Feel free to reach out! Pets are family. I will make sure they receive the best care possible! I'm a night owl myself when I'm home but whatever their routine is, I will stick to that as much as I can. For dogs, walks are included in housesitting if you want that. And any plant and garden care etc. Totally depends on your and your pet's needs. I'm so excited to look after your fur baby!

“Sydney was great to work with! She lives close by and was able to come meet my pet and learn about his things before we left town. Tito was in great hands and they became fast friends. I will definitely be using Sydney’s help again in the future.”

“Carolyn D. deserves a high recommendation because she puts the most thought into anything she does. She’s such a hard worker and always strives to do the best work that she can. She’s one of the most reliable and trustworthy people I know and I would 100% trust her with my dog. She has watched my dog before and when I picked her up, my dog was so content. Everytime my dog sees carolyn, she lights up and is so excited because she knows she will be cared for, played with, fed and taken on a walk. Carolyn is your go to girl for any of your pet sitting needs. :)”
