“Remember how excited you would always be to spend the weekend with your favorite aunt and cousin? I imagine this is what it was like for our dog when she recently spent 2 weeks with Marti and her dog Trixie. Our pup is 2 years old and was a "COVID puppy." As much, she did not have the opportunity to have as much socialization with other people/dogs as we would have liked. The longest she had ever been away from us was a week spent with our older daughter and family out of state--and they were familiar faces. So when a trip came up where we couldn't take our dog with us, I was anxious about leaving her with a sitter. I spent several hours sifting through profiles, and Marti's was one that resonated with me. At our meet and greet, Marti put me and my college student son immediately at ease with her calm, kind demeanor--and Trixie mirrored that vibe. After we left, my son (who is very protective of our dog) said, "Mom, I feel very comfortable leaving Mochi with Marti." From the time we dropped her off, we received regular pictures and updates. Marti was honest (our dog was anxious for the first few hours after we dropped her off, which was what we expected given that she'd never really been away from family) but reassuring--she told us our dog would calm down soon, and Mochi did. We could visibly see her relax in the photos over the next 24 hours--and by the last few days she was there, she was snuggled up to Trixie during nap time and using her as a pillow (a big thank you to Trixie for being such a kind and generous hostess!) In summary, two thumbs way up for Marti and Trixie's B and B-we definitely plan to rebook!”

“We Were looking for a sitter last minute and Jacob kindly and quickly accepted to watch our pet over Thanksgiving. It was our first time using Rover and he made us feel comfortable leaving Reyna with him. Sent us plenty of updates and took great care of our old dog! Would definitely recommend Jacob and book with him again!”
