About: I have taken care of many pets my whole life. I have also have dogs of my own and currently have two. I am often entrusted with caring for family and friend pets. I pay attention to detail and ensure the babies are happy after my visit. I also have my EMT-B and know basic emergency pet care. I am currently on the hunt for a job so I have all the free time needed to care for fur babies morning and evening. I have two fur babies of my own with a fenced in yard and they get fed twice a day. We also have a lot of play time and often spend time in and outside of the house.
“Zachariah did an outstanding job taking care of our baby. He kept us updated and included pictures of his walk. I would recommend him and will definitely use him in the future.”

About: I have been around animals and have taken care of them for as long as I can remember. I am comfortable around all dogs and I am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your fur baby. When I come to take care of, play with, or walk your fur baby I will dedicate my time to loving them. When staying with me I would love to be able to take them to the dog park where they can also interact with other animals while you're away! I like to build trust, communicate and personalize your fur babies stay so you both feel at ease. I am currently home full time and I am available for drop ins when needed! I am also flexible and can accept last minute bookings. I will take your fur baby on a walk to use the restroom since I don’t have a gated yard but if that’s a worry, I also have access to a few gated dog parks for your fur baby to run around and use the restroom.
About: “I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and currently care for dogs and cats of my own. I have experience with pets of all ages — from energetic young dogs to senior pets who require daily medication and extra patience. Because I manage a multi-pet household, I’m very comfortable with routines, feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and special care needs. I treat every pet like they’re my own and always make their safety, comfort, and happiness my top priority.” Animals are a big part of my daily life, so caring for pets comes easily and naturally. Your pet won’t be left alone or treated like a task — they’ll be part of my normal routine and get lots of love and attention.” I offer flexible care options, including pet sitting in my home as well as caring for pets in the comfort of clients’ homes — depending on what works best for each family. Because I’m used to managing a multi-pet household, I’m organized, dependable, and attentive to each animal’s individual routine.

For the most part someone is always at the house to provide whatever care or attention is needed for your animals. They will be let outside early in the morning and however frequently they want to during the day. I hate that I have to clarify, but you dogs will sleep inside. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
