About: I love dog sitting 🩷 This is a relax home with a large backyard. I enjoy helping neighbors and friends by taking good care of their fur babies when needed. I have a very friendly Siberian Husky who is always friendly and full of energy. The pets can be kept together or in separate rooms, depending on their behavior. I keep my pets on a feeding schedule but I’m flexible with their playtime and walk time. Working from home allows me to be there for any needs the person might have. My pets are fully vaccinated and I require animals staying over to be up to date with vaccines as well. I have a fenced yard and security system in and out of the house to keep an eye on my pets at all times.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 8 years old. I have owned many breeds in the past such as Boxers, American Bullies, Dobermans, Labs, Golden retrievers, Chihuahuas, Boston terriers, and Frenchies. Senior Care: I have experience with senior dogs, understanding their unique requirements, and mobility challenges, and providing gentle companionship. Communication: Regular updates are essential. I’ll send you photos, videos, and detailed notes about our adventures together, so you’re always connected. Dog Walking: I’ll keep your pup active and engaged during walks. In-Home Visits: I’ll provide playtime, feeding, and cuddles. Overnight Boarding: Your pet will feel at home in my cozy space. Special Needs Care: If your pet requires extra attention, I’m equipped to handle it. My Dad says that I am a Disney Princess the way I communicate with animals! I am currently a substitute teacher and the school year is coming to an end, meaning I will have a lot more free time than I already do! Morning Routine: Pet Feeding: Before heading to school, I ensure my furry friends have their breakfast. Consistency matters! Quick Walk: A brisk morning walk keeps both me and my dog energized. It’s a great way to start the day. During School Hours: Scheduled Breaks: During breaks or planning periods, I check in on my pets. A quick video call or a photo exchange keeps us connected. Lunchtime Walk: If my schedule allows, I squeeze in a midday walk for my dog. Fresh air benefits us both. After School: Quality Time: As soon as I’m back, it’s playtime! Whether it’s fetch, cuddles, or training sessions, I dedicate quality time to my pets. Cuddles and Pet Care: Since I do not grade assignments, I keep an eye on my pets. They often nap nearby, providing adorable distractions. Evening Routine: Dinner and Evening Walk: After dinner, we head out for a longer walk. It’s a chance for me to unwind and for my dog to explore. Quiet Time: As I prepare for the next day’s lessons, my pets settle down. They know it’s quiet time. Weekends: Adventure Time: Weekends are for longer trips to the dog park, and exploring new trails. Certainly! As a pet sitter, I adapt my care approach based on the specific service and location. Here's how I handle pet care in different scenarios: 1. **In My Home (Boarding)**: - **Comfortable Environment**: My pet-friendly apartment ensures a cozy and safe space for your furry friend. - **Regular Walks**: I take dogs for walks around the neighborhood or to nearby dog relief stations. - **Playtime**: Interactive play sessions keep pets mentally and physically stimulated. - **Feeding Schedule**: I follow your pet's feeding routine and dietary preferences. - **Grooming**: Regular brushing and grooming maintain their coat health. - **Quiet Time**: Pets have their own designated area for rest and relaxation. 2. **In Client's Home (House Sitting)**: - **Familiar Surroundings**: I provide in-home care, minimizing stress for your pet. - **Feeding and Medication**: I stick to their usual feeding schedule and administer any necessary medications. - **Exercise**: Daily walks, playtime, and mental stimulation keep them happy. - **Security**: I ensure your home is secure, collect mail, and maintain routines. - **Updates**: I send you regular updates, including photos and videos. 3. **Dog Walking**: - **Scheduled Walks**: I take your dog for walks during the day. - **Exploration**: We explore nearby parks, trails, or dog-friendly areas. - **Potty Breaks**: Regular breaks ensure their comfort. 4. **Drop-In Visits**: - **Brief Check-Ins**: I visit your home to feed, play, and offer companionship. - **Litter Box Cleaning**: For cats, I maintain a clean litter box. - **Security Check**: I ensure doors and windows are secure. 5. **Doggy Day Care**: - **Daytime Supervision**: Your dog spends the day with me, enjoying playtime and socializing. - **Rest Areas**: I provide cozy spots for naps and downtime. - **Interaction**: Dogs interact with other friendly pets if applicable. Remember, my goal is to create a stress-free experience for your pets, whether it's in my home or yours. 🐾❤️

About: I ran my own dog business prior to moving from Fort Campbell, during that time I have had over 400 clients, and over 275 repeat clients. I do my best to maintain your dogs schedule and to make them a part of the family. If you use my services repeatedly it is highly likely your pet will become a part of our extended pet family like so many other in the past. For the most part someone is always at the house to provide whatever care or attention is needed for your animals. They will be let outside early in the morning and however frequently they want to during the day. I hate that I have to clarify, but you dogs will sleep inside. Either in a kennel if they need to, or on the bed with my kids. I have a fenced in yard if your dogs come to my house. They will sleep inside and basically have the same rules as they do in your own home. If I am doing drop ins, I follow your schedule as best as possible. Normally I will spend most of the time playing with the pups or giving them attention if they don’t play.

About: I’ve taken care of animals every kind since I was 7. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, give love and attention to their pets for years. I will do my upmost to care for them just as you would. If you have pets that need training I will stick with it while they are in my care. I can can for senior pets with special needs, animals with disabilities and I respect special diets. I currently have a small business working from home, my daily and weekly routine is flexible. I have my own animals I care for so adding daily trips for drop in visits or pet pick ups for daycare are added into what I do on a daily basis. I have my own animals living with me, 3 dogs and 3 cats along with some reptiles. I have a 1600sq ft home with a fenced in backyard. The backyard has grass and is right next to a park for nice walks. Caring for pets in my home require neutral ground visits first as I require that all animals get along first. This means dogs all must meet each other individually before they come to stay with us. If all animals get along then they have free roam and are supervised during. If I must leave animals with be put away in either their kennels/cages or in rooms to make sure everyone is safe from any accidents. For drop in visits animals will be taking care of based on the clients specifications. If I am staying in your home I will be caring for your animals based on your needs and giving them the same attention my animals would get.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
