About: I am a stay at home homesteader that has three rescue doggos that live inside and a guardian livestock dog that spends her days taking care of the farm. We have hatched, raised and spend our days giving all the snacks to almost 50 chickens, 17 guineas, and 6 ducks. We have 2 goats one of which is about to give us a third. I know how hard it can be the travel with peace of mind without your babies with you, and I’d love to be able to help people enjoy your time away from home. Being able to set my own schedule while caring for other animals will allow me the ability to still care for my own animals without pulling time from them. I will do my very best to keep your fur babies routines exactly the same, and love and care for them like I love and care for my own babies.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was 11 years old. My experience ranges from newborn puppies/kitties to senior animals as well. When I was 16, I was working at a ranch as a dog/puppy tech handler. I helped clean, groom, and train miniature Australian Shepherds. As well as I handled mama dogs and their babies! While there, I also fed a feral colony and acquainted myself with some of the barn animals (Horses, cows, bulls). Over the years, I have fostered and bottle-fed various litters of puppies and kittens. Now I own 5 cats and 2 dogs. I am comfortable with big or small animals! I look forward to caring for y'all! Currently, I am taking courses for medical coding/billing for AAPC. So my classes are every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 pm to 8 pm. But other than that timeframe, I am completely flexible! I do prefer to be able to go to the client's home as I feel that is what most pets are more comfortable with. Whether you have cameras or not, it is not a problem. Any type of special latches, gates, key codes, etc. Is not a problem either. Animals hold a very special place in my heart, so rest assured, your baby will be my baby.

“My baby boy LOVEEESSS Suzanne! She always brings him treats and goes on mile long walks that he absolutely enjoys. She is like a part of our family and we are blessed to have her.”

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was a child. I’ve had turtles, dogs, cats, a snake, geckos, ferrets, and rats! All of my animals have or have had play areas, toys, treats, and enrichment activities. Depending on the animal and their personal needs, they also get outside time. I’m currently working full-time on Rover, so I have ample time to take care of your furry companions and ensure they receive all the necessary care. I have a fenced-in yard and two friendly dogs. All my animals have or have had playrooms or designated areas where they can relax and enjoy themselves.
“Maricella was fantastic with my son’s dog Hank. We were going to be in town for a funeral and my son had his dog because they were on the way back to Oklahoma. Maricella walked Hank while we attended the service and based on the pictures she sent Hank had the time of his life. This was the very first time we had left Hank with anyone other than family so we were nervous at first, but Maricella put us at ease. We would recommend her to everyone that needs their fur baby taken care of!!”

About: I have a genuine love for ALL animals and enjoy caring for dogs, cats, ducks, hamsters, fish, and more. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to look after their pets—feeding them, giving them attention, and making sure they feel safe and loved while their owners are away. Whether it’s daily care, walks, feedings, or just companionship, I can adapt to what works best for your furry (or feathered!) family members. “Kaylee is reliable and has been very understanding when our hectic schedules have changed last minute. Our Milo has enjoyed those afternoon walks so much! Will definitely continue using her services!”
About: I've always had a deep love for animals and grew up surrounded by pets. Over the years, I’ve cared for countless dogs and cats by pet sitting for friends and family. I have experience with a wide variety of breeds, from gentle Great Danes to tiny teacup Yorkies. I am a full time pet sitter, what started as a side hustle turned into a job I really love. This allows me to be readily available for daytime drop-in visits and overnight stays. I have ample time for mealtime, playtime, walks, and cuddles! I treat every dog with the same love and care that I give my own. My goal is to ensure your pet feels safe, happy, and at home—even when you're away. I’m happy to follow any specific routines or instructions, because I understand how important personalized attention is. Thank you for trusting me with your fur babies—I look forward to giving them the care they deserve!
About: I've been dog obsessed since I was a kid! Unfortunately my three dogs have all passed away within the last two years and so now my husband and I are excited to welcome & work with your pet! While your dog is with me, he/she will be allowed to have free reign of my home as well as doggie door access to a large, fully fenced back yard. Dogs are free to sleep wherever they like- on the couch, floor, my bed- I treat them like they're my own. I also live within half a mile from a well maintained park and make trips there almost daily. While you're away I will keep you updated on your pet's activities in whatever way you prefer including email, text, or FaceTime (yes I know it might seem weird but I did this with my own dogs when I was away so I'd offer you the same). I do recommend a meet-and-greet prior to dog sitting. You would need to be present for this interaction. You must provide proper vaccinations. I require 100% honesty from you and I will be 100% honest and transparent as well. I will always treat your animal with the same respect and loving care that I gave my own animals. I'm currently available full-time to devote my attention to your pets between walking, cuddling or pet-sitting. I work from home and own my own business so pet-sitting is an easy fit. I have a large fenced-in yard and a doggie door. I am comfortable with crate-training puppies & helping them learn proper potty skills. I am also comfortable giving oral and injected medications for animals young and old depending on their medical needs.

My Special Skills Include: Reactive & Anxious Dog Handling: Creating safe, low-stress environments for sensitive souls. High-Drive Breed Management: Experience safely handling and exercising powerful, high-energy working breeds. Behavioral Reinforcement: Utilizing consistent treat training, professional handling techniques, and keen observation of canine body language. Large Breed Experience: Confident leash-handling for strong pullers. Reliable Midday Care (9 AM - 6 PM): I am available Monday through Friday to provide the perfect midday break for your pet, whether they need an engaging walk, a fun drop-in, or just some focused playtime while you work. Early Morning Adventures: I am wide awake and ready to provide early 5:00 AM or 6:00 AM walks to get your pup's day started off right with plenty of exercise before you head out the door. Weekend Coverage: I offer weekend care on a select, rotating basis, providing you with trusted pet sitting or drop-in coverage for those busy Saturdays or quick weekend getaways. Consistent, Recurring Schedules: I specialize in setting up recurring weekly schedules for drop-ins and walks, providing your pets with a consistent best friend and giving busy working parents total peace of mind. Whether I’m staying at your place or visiting for a drop-in, your pets are treated like family. My approach combines physical exercise with mental engagement—I love incorporating short, positive training sessions into our day to keep their minds sharp. They’ll get plenty of 'tummy rub' downtime and scheduled feedings, but they’ll also get the structure and play they need to stay happy and tired out. Your dog won't just be watched; they’ll be active, engaged, and thoroughly spoiled.
About: Hi! I'm a 28 y/o dog mom new to the area! I have a sweet little 10lb cavapoo who I am obsessed with and who adores other dogs! I'm home all day (Army wife life) so I have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets, whether it's playing with them or taking them on walks around the neighborhood. I'd love to explore the area with your pet, or just give them the snuggles they’re used to while you’re away. My dog is a rescue who I raised from puppyhood—so I don’t mind accidents, teething, training, etc. I’m vigilant about safety with dogs, especially around cars and roads, so you can rest assured knowing I won’t let anything happen to your pup. I also grew up with two very energetic dogs in my home and I know how important pets are to each family. I'm happy to get to know your pet and any quirks they might have--places to avoid, special care they require, anything at all! Little more about me: I’m from the Midwest and have my Bachelor’s from U of M! I spent the last few years in the Washington, DC area with my husband as he went through medical school & residency. We’re an Army family but still hold our Midwest roots dearly :) I work part-time remotely, so I’m home and available all day and in the evenings. I’m happy to stop by to play with your pup and take a break from work, or go on my evening hot-girl walk with your dog by my side! I will treat your pet like my own when they’re in my home! We love to play, wrestle, and snuggle on the couch! My dog has free rein so she lounges on the couch, her beds, our bed, etc. Your dog is welcome to do the same! We can assess how the dogs get along and decide how to leave them if I have to step outside—we also have baby gates where I can separate the dogs if that’s best. I do not have any children so there aren’t little toys for your dog to get into, and I’ll keep all food and shoes put away. I like to think my apartment is quiet and cozy, so I’ll be sure to provide a calm environment for your pet! I am able to go to your home and meet your pet in their familiar space. I am open to all notes and tidbits about your home, your neighborhood, etc so that your pet has the best experience with me.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Woodland. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Woodland.

- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
