“My baby boy LOVEEESSS Suzanne! She always brings him treats and goes on mile long walks that he absolutely enjoys. She is like a part of our family and we are blessed to have her.”

About: I am a stay at home homesteader that has three rescue doggos that live inside and a guardian livestock dog that spends her days taking care of the farm. We have hatched, raised and spend our days giving all the snacks to almost 50 chickens, 17 guineas, and 6 ducks. We have 2 goats one of which is about to give us a third. I know how hard it can be the travel with peace of mind without your babies with you, and I’d love to be able to help people enjoy your time away from home. Being able to set my own schedule while caring for other animals will allow me the ability to still care for my own animals without pulling time from them. I will do my very best to keep your fur babies routines exactly the same, and love and care for them like I love and care for my own babies.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was 11 years old. My experience ranges from newborn puppies/kitties to senior animals as well. When I was 16, I was working at a ranch as a dog/puppy tech handler. I helped clean, groom, and train miniature Australian Shepherds. As well as I handled mama dogs and their babies! While there, I also fed a feral colony and acquainted myself with some of the barn animals (Horses, cows, bulls). Over the years, I have fostered and bottle-fed various litters of puppies and kittens. Now I own 5 cats and 2 dogs. I am comfortable with big or small animals! I look forward to caring for y'all! Currently, I am taking courses for medical coding/billing for AAPC. So my classes are every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 pm to 8 pm. But other than that timeframe, I am completely flexible! I do prefer to be able to go to the client's home as I feel that is what most pets are more comfortable with. Whether you have cameras or not, it is not a problem. Any type of special latches, gates, key codes, etc. Is not a problem either. Animals hold a very special place in my heart, so rest assured, your baby will be my baby.
“Extremely thankful for Brooke coming by to walk my Kevin! I really wanted him to at least get out a bit while I was gone so I'm super thankful for her time ☺️ Immediately asked about preferred routes and if Kevin was reactive to other dogs etc. Would definitely book once again! Kevin definitely loved her.”

“Anna has been amazing! I chose Anna because of the high number of repeat bookings and i can now see why. Received many report cards with great pictures of my doggos visibly enjoying themselves. I have no doubt they love her and your pets will too!”

“Kaylee is reliable and has been very understanding when our hectic schedules have changed last minute. Our Milo has enjoyed those afternoon walks so much! Will definitely continue using her services!”
About: Animals have always been a special part of my life. Growing up, my family had several beloved dogs, and my love for animals continued into adulthood when I welcomed my first fur baby of my own, Ella Bella. Ella was my Yorkie Shih Tzu mix and truly my companion through every chapter of life. She traveled everywhere with me, shared countless adventures, and was deeply loved for 15 wonderful years before passing away last year. The bond we shared reminded me how much joy, comfort, and unconditional love animals bring into our lives. Now that I’m a mom, I’m excited to reconnect with animals while continuing to provide loving care for my little one. I’m a naturally nurturing, patient, and protective person who believes every pet deserves to feel safe, valued, and cared for like family. I’m an animal and nature lover at heart, and I enjoy creating fun, positive experiences through walks, playtime, companionship, and attentive care. Whether your pet needs extra affection, an adventure outdoors, or simply someone dependable while you’re away, I’ll treat them with the same love and respect I would want for my own. I’m a full-time stay-at-home mom, which gives me a flexible schedule and the opportunity to dedicate plenty of time, attention, and love to caring for your fur babies. My days naturally include walks, outdoor adventures, and nurturing care, making pet care something that fits beautifully into my routine. I’m looking to build lasting relationships with wonderful clients who appreciate a family-friendly approach to pet care. With your approval, I would love the opportunity to bring my child along while providing care, while always making safety, comfort, and your pet’s well being my top priorities. I’m a very professional, dependable, and attentive caregiver who is passionate about animals. I’m grateful to find work that allows me to stay close to my child while doing something I truly love providing pets with companionship, exercise, affection, and the same care I would want for my own. Safety, trust, and comfort are my top priorities when caring for every pet. I believe pets deserve the same patience, attention, and love they receive from their own families. I provide a calm, safe, and nurturing environment with plenty of supervision, affection, playtime, walks, and enrichment. I take the time to understand each pet’s unique personality, routine, and needs so they feel comfortable, secure, and cared for. I am a very present and attentive caregiver. When I’m caring for your pet, they are my priority, and I focus on being fully engaged with them rather than allowing unnecessary distractions. I believe quality care comes from being observant, patient, and truly present for the animals entrusted to me. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat your space and your pet with the utmost respect. I follow your instructions carefully, maintain their normal routine, and provide updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is to build a trusting relationship with both you and your pet by providing dependable, loving, and professional care that makes them feel safe, valued, and loved.

“Kortney D. has been absolutely amazing with my dog, DECON. She is incredibly communicative and provides detailed updates about every walk, which gives me complete peace of mind. I always know exactly how DECON is doing and what transpired during their time together. Most importantly, DECON absolutely loves her! It’s clear that she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with and goes above and beyond to make sure they are safe, happy, and well cared for. Her professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail are second to none. I highly recommend Kortney to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dedicated dog walker. She does a tremendous job, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provides for DECON!”

About: I've been dog obsessed since I was a kid! Unfortunately my three dogs have all passed away within the last two years and so now my husband and I are excited to welcome & work with your pet! While your dog is with me, he/she will be allowed to have free reign of my home as well as doggie door access to a large, fully fenced back yard. Dogs are free to sleep wherever they like- on the couch, floor, my bed- I treat them like they're my own. I also live within half a mile from a well maintained park and make trips there almost daily. While you're away I will keep you updated on your pet's activities in whatever way you prefer including email, text, or FaceTime (yes I know it might seem weird but I did this with my own dogs when I was away so I'd offer you the same). I do recommend a meet-and-greet prior to dog sitting. You would need to be present for this interaction. You must provide proper vaccinations. I require 100% honesty from you and I will be 100% honest and transparent as well. I will always treat your animal with the same respect and loving care that I gave my own animals. I'm currently available full-time to devote my attention to your pets between walking, cuddling or pet-sitting. I work from home and own my own business so pet-sitting is an easy fit. I have a large fenced-in yard and a doggie door. I am comfortable with crate-training puppies & helping them learn proper potty skills. I am also comfortable giving oral and injected medications for animals young and old depending on their medical needs.

I can pop in early morning, noon, and late at night! I like to keep every environment I’m in better than I found it, and I’m happy to tidy up and comfort my fluffy pet friends when their family is away

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
