About: As a teacher and mother, I’m a natural caregiver and there’s nothing I love more than caring for dogs. I have a gift for understanding them and providing the right kind of love and affection. I’ve worked at a vet, helped dog rescues in Korea, and have been a dog sitter since childhood. Our dog Prim lives a splendid life in our new fenced backyard. We brought her to Maui from Korea and have showered her with love. Along the way we’ve watched many buddies for her, always making these dogs feel like part of the family. Let me put your mind at ease, give your dog a safe and loving second home, and provide you with some cute photos too! I am a teacher so I’m usually home by 3 pm and have a lot of holidays off. My husband works four days a week. We’re always home on the weekends and have a great setup when we’re not here so that pets can enjoy both the house and the backyard. My yard is fully fenced in and live on a quiet cul-de-sac. We are very aware of potential dangers and try to always have a plan in case it’s needed. We’re informed on all feeding precautions and exercise care during play and meal time. Both our kids, even our toddler, are careful and kind with all animals. I passed my dog whisperer genes on to them!

About: I’m in my mid 30s and been responsible for at least one pet since I was about 8. I love all animals and have personally had cats, dogs and fish. I graduated from A&M Galveston with a degree in Marine Biology and am currently working with marine mammals. I have experience in dog and cat training, this includes harness/leash and behavioral. Because of my degree I have a background in animal behavior which I use to help talk to and understand animals. I have worked with pets, dolphins and wolves in the past. I absolutely love animals and find it the most rewarding teaching and interacting with them. Please let me help you love your pet. I work full time on Sunday-Tuesday. So I cannot work those days. The other days I have the occasional volunteer project but can work around any Rover commitment. I live right next to a park and the beach so it’s very easy to take dogs for a walk. If I am staying at a clients place I have a truck to take the dog to a dog park if there isn't one nearby.

About: My husband and I have an undying love of animals. We are currently travelling, caring for four-legged friends along the way. We hope to find somewhere to settle down and retire, and my husband knows that when we do, I am going to have a farm! I grew up with pet raccoons, skunks, snakes, cows, goats and I love them all. We even travelled to Thailand so we could help care for elephants and wash them in the river. We would LOVE to watch your fluffy friends and to love them in your absence. This is a cat and dog-care-site, but we will take reptiles/bunnies/birds/donkeys/emu/horses/you name it! As long as you can show me how to provide the care they need, I am willing to take it on. I was born and raised in Wisconsin farm country. Animal care just seems to be almost innate to kids born in that environment. I need to be honest though, animals are SPOILED ROTTEN with us. We will do our best to stick to your routine so as to not upset your sweetest family members, but "My dog is very independent and doesn't need much attention," won't work with me. There will be constant snuggles, scratches, loves, and basically your babies being told that they are the BEST PUPPER EVER on a regular basis. If possible, it would be wonderful to learn about any dog-friendly restaurants and cafes in your area, as well as your pupper's favorite parks and walking areas. With your permission we would love to bring your pets with us on car trips and short hikes in your area. Thank you for trusting us with the care of your most important family members. ** If you are wondering why our fees are so low, it is due to the fact that we will be staying in your home during our travels. We are exchanging our services for the lodging. We can adapt to any routine you currently have. It is best to keep your pet in a routine that they know and not create unnecessary stress.
