About: I've had dogs in my family since I was a baby; I grew up around them and my love for them grew. I care deeply for my own dogs, and I'm always excited to meet a new four legged friend. I regularly petsit for my family, a multitude of dogs, cats, and aquatic creatures. My schedule is currently very flexible; I make time for a walk and training my own dog every day and I sometimes bring him with me when running errands. I love snuggling and hanging out with all kinds of pets, letting them get comfortable with me in their space and touching them at their own pace.
About: We have had 4 personal dogs who all get lots of love and attention, we lost our 2 oldest several yrs ago. We recently added our 4th pup to add love and laughter in our home. We love to give all dogs lots of attention and treats and are firm on reward based learning only. All our dogs have had some type of obedience training. We had been fosters and have had the pleasure of rehoming 16 dogs. We are available any day of the week for daily things. There is always someone home and have an active family. We do daily walks (1-2) times, a bucket of chewy toys, and bags of balls to chew on. We have a large fenced in yard for dogs to run in and a dog friendly home. We have lots of love to give and might love dogs bit too! This is a family side hussle, both my husband and I work full time with 2 active teens, we are always home and always on the go! Your pet is as important as my own pet, I don't want anything to happen that would make anyone sad, things happen but things can be prevented as well.

“Took off on a hiking trip for a few days and couldn't bring my dog. Hired Hope to drop in on him, take him for walks and feed him while I was gone. She did a great job! Sent me updates along the way and gave me peace of mind. My Lil dude seemed in high spirits when I got back. Would totally recommend Hope anytime and would definitely use her as sitter in the future.”

About: I've had dogs in my life since I was 8 and all my dogs have shown great love towards me because I give them the full love back. I am known in the family as the family caretaker when our dogs get old and need special attention. The reason I take care of my dogs when they get older because I have the patience, attentions, and most of all, love in supporting them through their elderly stage. All pets deserve the best and I am more than happy to provide that! I am currently taking the year off from work to travel the world but in between my trips I have a lot of free time and feel it can be better spent taking care of pets while other people can enjoy trips or another activity that requires them to leave their pet at home. I have a 5-year old Havanese and I take him on walks daily, I make sure he is bathe at least once a month, and try to take him on as many trips so I can, so he can enjoy the world as much I as I do.
About: Trixie and Norton were the loves of my life. Two amazing dogs that I had for years. I also had a wonderful black kitty, Snookers. Although I have not had pets since then, I have taken care of family and friends' dogs whenever possible and am looking forward to caring for others 4 four-legged family members. I look forward to having the opportunity to be there for people who need a trustworthy, loving, and patient person to help them with their pet sitting needs. Providing care and dealing with emergencies is second nature to me, and I know that it would be a pleasure to offer a wonderful sitting experience for your pets. I always have ample notice about my work, which allows me to keep commitments I make as a house sitter. I follow the instructions well and do not make assumptions. I feel it is important to clarify all details with the client so I can offer the best possible care. My role is to be respectful of others' property and give the quality of service your pet(s) deserve. They need to be nurtured and nourished with as little disruption as possible.

About: Hi! My name is Megan, I am 27yrs old and just moved to Blaine from Issaquah! I have two pups, Kona and Dixie, who keep me active and moving every day! I have owned animals my entire life as well as worked on multiple farms caring for animals such as horses, donkeys, pigs, goats, chickens, and ducks! I love working with animals and making sure they stay active and healthy. I am currently looking at going back to school part-time and looking for a job that can supplement the free time that I will have from that. My classes would be online so I will be able to make my own schedule so I will be able to make anything work! I have a fenced yard but would prefer to only care for animals in their own home. One of my dogs is quite scared of other dogs even though his best friend is our 3yr old puppy. But, to ensure the safety and comfortability of both my dogs and yours, I believe that care in their own home where they are the most comfortable and at ease is the best.

Amy did a wonderful job with my pets, Vinny a cat and Riley my old, stubborn and blind dog. She took on the responsibility and was up to the task. My neighbor met Amy and commented about how kind abd patient she with Riley. I trusted her completely, would hire her again and would recommend her to others. In fact, I already have. Thanks Amy!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
