“McKeznie was great with Scarlett! She was very attentive during our meet & greet and seemed to care about keeping our pup comfortable. Scarlett seemed to have a great time!”

About: I have a soft spot for the big bully breeds but love the little ones as well. I worked at an animal emergency clinic for a few years. My flex is remaining extremely calm in any situation. My weakness is I become attached to easily. I can do my work from anywhere and I set my own hours so I'm available for any schedule that you and your pets need. In your home, I care for your pets just like my own. Our cat sleeps with us, Tank is on the floor on my side is the bed. I talk to them like they're my best friends. 😊

“JB was as fantastic as we recall from her last stay with our pups. She took great care of them like they were her own. I could tell the pups really bonded with her and enjoyed their time with her!”

“Lois does a great job taking care of our home and our pup. We feel so much more comfortable traveling now that we know we have someone taking care of our dog and his separation anxiety.”

“We booked Delia for a few days to house sit our 3 dogs. This was our first time utilizing rover, before we go on a longer trip at the end of the year. She popped in several times to let our dogs out and communicated well when she would be returning late. Came back to a respected home and happy dogs.”

About: Hi there! My name is Jamaura, I’m 21 years old, and I’m currently a student at the University of Florida majoring in Animal Sciences on the pre-veterinary track. I’m deeply passionate about animal welfare and plan on becoming a wildlife veterinarian in the future! Over the past seven years, I’ve cared for dogs belonging to family, friends, and neighbors, as well as my own pets throughout childhood. In every situation, I prioritize each pet’s comfort, routine, and happiness, treating every furry friend like they’re my own. I make sure dogs get the exercise, playtime, and affection they need, while maintaining clean feeding areas, following meal schedules, and creating a calm, structured environment. I’m also comfortable administering medications and managing more complex feeding routines when needed. I love bonding with dogs and my goal is always to provide a positive, stress-free experience that leaves both pets and owners feeling at ease. I’m available seven days a week, any time of the day, and I’m committed to being there when you need me most. Whether it’s a last-minute walk, daily check-ins, or extended care, I’m here to provide consistent, loving, and flexible care for your pets whenever you need it! When I care for your pet in your home, whether it’s for a walk or a drop-in visit, I do everything possible to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their familiar surroundings. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, needs, and routine, so I take the time to learn what makes your pet feel most content. From following detailed care instructions to noticing subtle behavior cues, I prioritize your pet’s well-being above all else. Whether your pet is shy and needs quiet companionship or full of energy and ready to play, I adapt my care to match their personality and comfort level. Most importantly, your pet’s welfare, safety, and comfort are always my top priorities. I’m here to give them not just supervision, but genuine care and attention, so you can feel confident and worry-free while you’re away.

“I’m very satisfied with the job Makala did with my cats and house during her stay. Both cats were very well cared for. Spooky may have even gained a little weight and Camo seems less jumpy and wants more pets. I would definitely call on Makala again when I get another chance to travel. I hope the arrangement worked out well for her also and I wish her all the luck in the world with her new business.”

“Lamaris always does a wonderful job with my pups, and always leaves the home clean and my dogs happy. He is great at responding to messages and following instructions. Would highly recommend!”

About: I have owned cats and dogs all of my life. My last dog was 18 and 1/2 yrs old when I lost her. She was my best friend and I still miss her 9 yrs later. Animals give us unconditional love and they deserve the same in return. They communicate with us if we keep our minds open to it. I am semi retired, I work independently from home and have a lot of free time. I am looking for some fur babies to take care of so their guardians can feel comfortable leaving them. I will treat all dogs and cats like my own and I take their care very serious. If that means sending daily videos or pictures to their guardians to put them at ease, I am happy to do just that. My cats are on a timed feeding schedule of prescription cat food and 3 weekly feeding of fresh wet cat food with no by products, just protein, rice and broth. I check their weight weekly and they receive vet visits quarterly like clock work. I take their health as seriously as I take my own. I find no ask unreasonable and will check in with pet parents as often as requested.

About: I've taken care of a family dog my whole life. I am always gentle and kind to dogs. I try to be patient with them always. I'm looking to spend as much time as I can with pets! Taking care of animals is a big passion of mine. I always treat them like my own family. I treat pets gently and kindly. I always put them first place and I'm sure to stay attentive to their needs. I'm looking forward to becoming a professional.

“Amy was great! Paxton can be very demanding sometimes so we really appreciate knowing she was there with him. We also liked the pics she sent us to let us know everything was okay. We’ll definitely use Amy again.”

About: I have 10 years of experience taking care of pets. Have taken care of puppies to senior dogs so your pet will be in good hand also have a vet down the road from the house I work full time during the week but have the weekends available to give your pet attention that they need also can board through the week I have one dog and a fence in yard which is .5 an acre so plenty of room to run around and play plenty of toys also

About: Ive had dogs since I was born. I am a caretaker for the Papa Pal program and assist seniors with their pets. I have 2 dogs since they were 6 weeks old. I raised my cats 17 and 8 years since they were kittens. I also care for community cats with Operation Petsnip. I am self employed, so I plan to be flexible with my pet care endeavors. I live near the Gainesville airport and also used to commuting in the area I am open to let your pets out for a walk, feed, water and play. I understand the importance as I used to work 12 hour days and had to use a dog walker as well. I am also a former educator and work in public service over 20 years and have no criminal record or other types of issues

About: Hey! I currently have a part-time job as a vet tech at my local clinic & have been looking into expanding my horizons by finding other ways to work with pets! I have experience with all kinds of cats and dogs, such as kittens, puppies, seniors, and blind and/or deaf disabled pets. I am capable of walking, playing, exercising, feeding, medicating your pets and more. I can also help with training the younger ones as well :p Most of my time outside of work goes into training my Australian Shepard puppy and integrating my new stray cat into the home. Spending time with animals is one of my favorite things to do, and I would love to meet yours! I work 4/5 business days each week, but only two of those are 8 hour shifts. This gives me a lot of time to devote to your pets! My Tuesdays and weekends are completely free, as well as Mondays and Wednesdays after 3pm. I don’t intend on opening a doggy day-care service in my own home, only because I live with family and I’ve got a bit of a rambunctious home (what with 4 animals!). However, I am fully capable of adhering to any house rules you set for your own home, as well as keeping it clean. I have dog-sat many times before and I have always made sure to keep the home clean and the dogs happy and stimulated. As for cats, I clean my cats’ litter boxes 1-2 times daily, so that is not something I would shy away from at all!
