About: My family has owned numerous of dogs in our large family. From my Uncle's Dobermann trio to my mother small Pomsky (Pomeranian and Husky mix) I've taken care of them all. The dogs in our family are tired of me before I've run out of steam to play or walk. I own five cats at the moment though one of them acts like a caine. My cats are friendly and mind their business when I overnight board my mother's Pomsky or my sister's Old lab mix girl for a few days. Cleaning after animals do not bother me. I daily change 6 cat litter boxes. When I'm left clear instructions the job is done efficiently every time. I work from home full time and I'm awake before the sun come up. I'm ready to get the job done early and my job is flexible about my breaks. I can visit your pets anytime designated as I have my own vehicle. I have a open yard that's not fenced in though only one neighbor with a dog behind a fence. I'm working to fence my yard in the future as I like the idea to give sitted dogs that open space. For now know your dog will become part of my workouts and I love to walk about 3-5 miles daily. At my home your dog will be welcome to chill with us though during the night will board in the spare room in or out of any provided crates.

Kayla was awesome! She was super flexible and took good care of our 2 boys. One had a small cut on his leg that bled a bit . She informed us, assisted in cleaning up the mess, and made sure that he was good for the night. We appreciate the extra effort and care! Definitely would book again!

About: Growing up my family always had cats and dogs, so I’ve been around them my whole life. Pets bring so much love and fun into your life, they are a part of the family and they are so important. I will care for your pet like they are my own. I have a 6 year old poodle named Lola who I love with my whole heart. My qualifications- I’ve taken care of older cats for a neighbor, I’ve housesat for friends and family who have pets, and I volunteered at an animal shelter for over a year, where I would clean kennels, take dogs on walks, play with cats, and organize and paint the shelter. Thank you for considering me as your pet-sitter! ❤️ I have flexible hours, because I work as a door dasher, but pet-sitting/walking is my preferred job, so I can be available whenever I am needed. In my home, my dog Lola has access to food and water 24/7, and I take her outside every 4 hours or so during the day. She lets me know when she needs to go outside. In your home, I can provide any feeding/walking schedule that your pet is used to. I’m very easy-going and adaptable to anything.

About: With over 40 years of experience caring for animals, I bring a calm, confident, and loving approach to every pet I meet. Big dogs don’t scare me—in fact, I adore them—and my background as a vet tech in an emergency clinic means I’m comfortable handling medical needs, including administering medications. I truly love all animals, and I talk to every dog, cat, or critter as if they were my own. Your pets will be in patient, capable, and genuinely caring hands with me. I can work from anywhere and I set my own hours so I'm available for any schedule that you and your pets need, even if it's just a visit. In your home, I care for your pets just like my own. Our cat sleeps with us, Tank is on the floor on my side is the bed. I talk to them like they're my best friends. 😊

About: I have two dogs of my own that I absolutely adore. I’ve always watched dogs since I was around the age of 12. My family has always had dogs running around the house. Dogs are so special and as humans, we don’t deserve their love. I currently am a stay at home mom and have plenty of time to play with dogs. I have two dogs of my own, one very high energy and one on the lower energy side! So I understand how to take care of needs of both kind of energy dogs! I have a dog park very close to my friendly apartment and love to give them the proper care needed. I love going on runs and walks, especially with the amazing FL weather!

About: I have been caring for dogs and cats in some aspect my entire life. I have successfully cared for many different breeds. Animals are my biggest passion and I believe they are family that deserve the same respect and care. My hope is to make pet care my full time job. I would like to be able to dedicate all of my availability to caring for pets. I believe it is important to follow the pets normal routine as directed by the owner. About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life. My neighbors trusted me to watch their dogs as well. I now have 3 big dogs of my own! I can fall in love with any dog regardless of size or temper. In my eyes all dogs need the same amount of love! I am in between jobs at the moment but looking for a part time job as well as this. I also have a 6 month old baby and I am adapted to being a mother at the same time. I make sure they have their water bowls filled. Also will make sure to feed them based on what feeding schedule they are on at the time, and take them for walks daily. Also I’ll make sure they get enough love and affection while their owners are gone.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who genuinely enjoys giving pups the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. 🐾 Whether your dog loves long walks, backyard playtime, belly rubs, or just hanging out on the couch, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and right at home. I’m reliable, active, easy to communicate with, and happy to keep you updated with plenty of photos while your pup is in my care. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your dog, so I’ll always treat yours like they’re part of the family. ❤️ Lots of walks, lots of attention, and plenty of tail wags! 🐶 I work from home full-time, so your pup won’t be left alone for long stretches during the day. I’m available for frequent potty breaks, backyard playtime, walks, feeding, and plenty of attention throughout their stay. I live in a house with a fully fenced yard, no children, and one friendly dog of my own. My goal is to make your dog feel like they’re staying at a second home—not a kennel. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, medication, and sleep routine so their stay is as comfortable and familiar as possible. I also provide regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your pup is having a great time. Your pet’s safety and comfort come first. I always follow any special instructions you provide, keep their environment clean and secure, and give them lots of love and attention. Whether in my home or yours, I make sure they feel safe, cared for, and happy.

When we go out of town, we always worry about the furry family member we leave behind. We have a 9 yo diabetic yellow lab Buddy and because of his special needs, had in the past, spend most of our trip worrying if he was getting the care he needed. Until we found rover and Rhea. She is very caring and compassionate with Buddy, giving him long walks, affection and attention to his special needs. Rheas' daily report cards and photos put our minds at ease that Buddy was well cared for in our absence. Because of Rheas' compassion for animals and dependability, we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for that special caregiver.

Amber was Awesome. We contacted her on short notice, and she showed up right away to meet everyone on our little farm. Rynn our little 6lb Shorkie Poo took to her right away and he is usually the hard one because he is the boss, and Bodie the 100 lb Lab loves everyone. Plus the cat, bird and 11 ducks all loved her. We even found some of her own little treats she brought for he kids. If you are looking for a loving, caring, respectful person for your fur babies Amber is the one for you. Thanks you so much Amber Dave & Jen

About: I have cared for domestic pets of all kinds - cats, dogs (all sizes), birds, turtles, lizards, etc - as a sitter and for fun. My aunt (whom my mother lives with) is a dog trainer as well as a breeder (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) 25+ yrs. I grew up volunteering my time doing puppy evaluations, crate-training, potty-training, etc. I frequently babysit my friends pets while they are away, and have cats of my own at the house! I recently resigned my job as a firefighter, and have extra time in my schedule to have a side gig I care about. Walks, hikes, runs and swims if the dog is active! I understand each pet as it’s own needs and individual personalities. I care for other pets as they were my own, and I hope to make a great fit as a sitter for you! I am available 24/7 for pet care (overnight or drop-ins) as I recently resigned from my job to move to FL with my partner. I am currently looking for a full-time job. So call me! I live in an apartment complex with a large, fenced in dog park. It’s location is safe, next to a middle school. We have plenty of empty space to watch pets over night in separate rooms, or let them roam free depending on their personal needs. Additionally, the complex is located next to an outdoor recreation area with walking trails and sidewalks.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Kerr City. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Kerr City.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Kerr City. On Rover:

  • 97% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
