About: Thanks, Hi, I’m Rylea! I’m a 24-year-old animal lover who has been in the animal care field my entire life. My passion for animals continues to grow with every new experience. I’ve worked as a caregiver at an animal boarding facility, volunteered for 7 years as a Feline Friend at the Dane County Humane Society, worked as a veterinary technician, and spent time in doggy daycare. I now run my own dog grooming business, where I specialize in compassionate, personalized care for every pup. In my own home I have a wide open yard but also a fenced in area. I tend to take care of pets in the ways that the owners prefer, to keep the normal routine even though they are in a different home. I also have a dog that loves to play and go on walks so I make it part of my life. My dog would love to have a Friend to play with. If I go to a client's house I tend to follow order on what owners do or want done during the day. It is very important. I would treat your animals as I would my own to create a bond and trust with them.

Although I have another job, and have a family, I still have flexibility to do pet care. :-) I care for my own animals deeply in one of my top priorities is meeting their needs. About: I took care of my family's dog until I moved to college, and I really miss having a dog! Rover is perfect because it will allow me to satisfy my love for dogs while fitting with my schedule and helping you. I am also hoping to get a dog in the near future. I enjoy running and walking so having a dog with energy is not a problem as long as they are leash trained. I’m currently working from home full time. I can be flexible on when walks occur but am fairly busy between 8-5 and need some heads up to plan around meetings. I do not have a fenced in yard but will take your dog on frequent walks or as needed if you’re booking that service. I’m careful to follow instructions on how to get into your house for walks and lock up on the way out.

“We are looking to find someone to board Ollie with for weekends. To start him out slow (he has separation anxiety), we had a Meet and Greet, a short (3hr) stay and later, a full day stay. Julie was clear that her dog Zilla's comfort with Ollie was a priority, which I fully support. I won't want to trust my dog to someone who isn't looking out for ALL the dogs involved. Julie was very responsive with messages, showed us around her home and yard and was generally very calm and patient. While the dogs didn't end up getting along well enough for this to work out long term, Ollie warmed up to Julie and was definitely as calm as I've seen him after being left.”
