About: I worked 8 years, almost 9, and The Dog Hut LLC. I've helped care for dogs as young as 2 months and dogs well into their senior years. I'm happy to give medication to any dogs that need it and make sure they get extra cuddles and someone to "talk to". I am also very open to more than just dogs. I worked for 4 years at the Dane County Humane Society caring for Guinee Pigs, rats, and a non venomous snake. I am currently between jobs so any day works well for me. I'm happy to come late morning and well into the night to feed, water, and play with your pets who need that. Or just lend a happy presence, for the cats and cat-like pets who just need a simple hello. At my home I do not have a fully fenced in yard but am within walking distance of a few paths so even if your dog will be on leash they will get a wonderful walk in. Bringing their own toys and comfort items will be needed as I only have a cat currently. Also your dog must be cat friendly or will need to have a kennel brought with them should they be staying. I am okay staying over at my client's place should the need arise, can give medication and will give them all the playtime and snuggle breaks they need. I will be wary of weather changes so I can give them quick breaks outside and make sure they still can get energy out should it be an inside kind of day.

About: Cats can be tricky! They all have unique personalities and, over the years, I've learned how to win them over! I'm comfortable giving medications, cleaning litter boxes, and giving lots of pets until your cat tells me to stop :-)

My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, cared for, and loved while their owner is away. I’m reliable, patient, and treat every pet like family. Pet care fits naturally into my daily life. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to be available throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, or extended care. With my background as a former dog groomer and long-term experience in the pet industry, I’m very comfortable caring for animals and enjoy making them feel safe, calm, and cared for. I care for pets by following their normal routine closely, including feeding, walking, playtime, and any medications. I prioritize safety, cleanliness, and comfort, and I’m experienced in handling different temperaments from my time working in boarding facilities and pet care. My goal is to make pets feel safe and cared for as if they were my own.

About: I've been pet-sitting for years for families from my home town and often take care of my family dog and cat when my parents travel, sometimes for weeks at a time. I love animals and can get along with all different cats and dogs! I love to be active and walk dogs as well. I work from home and I’m very flexible in scheduling — morning, lunchtime, evenings, and even evenings should all work with my schedule and availability. I can easily accommodate your dogs needs in walking, approach in the home, meeting spots, or whatever else would make you as the owner, and the dog most comfortable!

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals my whole life, including my own, friends, and family’s pets. Through high school and college I volunteered at a rescue that specialized in cats. Most recently I worked at a county animal shelter as an animal caretaker. Through the shelter I have had training in handling and care of almost every pet imaginable, as well as extra training in dog behavior. I also have training in foster of special needs / challenging behavior dogs, as well as neonate kitten care. I have experience giving many types of medications as well as iv fluids. I am currently solely focusing on providing pet care, so it is very easy for me to adjust my schedule to accommodate whatever needs your pet may have. I will care for your babies in whichever way you want. In my home, my dog kids are allowed inside or outside whenever they want and are not kenneled. But I will do my best to be consistent with whatever schedule they are used to. I also enjoy jogging if your pup would prefer a faster paced walk.

Dogs are such an important part of my life, and I’ll care for your pup like they’re one of my own. I always go above and beyond to make sure dogs feel safe, loved, exercised, and happy while you’re away. Whether that means long walks, playtime, cuddles, or extra attention, I’m committed to providing the best care possible. I also have a reliable vehicle and can transport dogs to local dog parks if they need more exercise than a walk can provide or if you don’t have a yard available. I work full-time in Madison Monday through Friday during standard business hours, so I may not be the best fit for services that require potty breaks or walks during those times. However, I do occasionally have flexibility in my schedule and may be able to accommodate certain requests, so please don't hesitate to ask if I can make it work.
