About: I am currently a small animal veterinarian licensed in both Kentucky and Georgia, but have been in the veterinary medical field since 2009, starting out as a vet assistant. While I have enjoyed helping animals throughout my veterinary career, I have decided to step away from the long, demanding hours of clinical medicine in order to have a better work-life balance so that I can spend more time with my family. Pet sitting allows me to continue doing what I love, which is caring for animals. As a veterinarian, I have worked with all ages and breeds of dogs and cats, and I am comfortable administering medications, caring for senior pets, and supporting animals with special medical needs. Whether your pet is an energetic puppy or a senior with more in depth needs, my goal is to make every pet feel comfortable and loved while you're away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members, and I will treat your pet(s) as if they were my own, providing regular updates, photos, and plenty of attention so you can have peace of mind and enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in experienced, compassionate hands. Whether you need drop-in visits, walks, or help with a pet who needs a little extra time and attention, I'd love to meet you and your best friend! As a veterinarian transitioning away from full-time clinical practice to create more time for my family, I now have the flexibility to provide attentive, reliable care for pets throughout the day. Whether it's walks, drop-in visits, playtime, or medication administration, I can easily build my schedule around each pet's individual needs. Caring for animals has always been more than just my profession, it's something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to every day. When caring for pets in your home, I strive to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions closely regarding feeding, medications, walks, playtime, and any special needs to ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable while you're away.

About: I am a dog mom of two! They are my world, but I have never met an animal I didn’t like!! Small or big they are all special and need love!! I work as a caregiver in the evenings Monday through Thursday 3:30-10 and Friday 3:30-8. So I am available all other hours of the day. I also have the flexibility if I must to make a quick stop by during working hours if I need. I have a fenced in yard and two dogs who love making new friends and having play dates! I believe that the house is there home and they are welcome to sleep and lay on the couches and beds!!

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was little. We grew up with dogs and added cats to the mix when I was in high school. I’ve had several cats and dogs since then. Presently I have a two week on, two week off schedule. During my two weeks off I need something to do and pet sitting would both give me something to do, and allow me to have some dogs around. I’m a fan of walking so don’t worry about your puppets getting exercise! Pet care in my home is dictated by you, and enhanced by me. I’ll feed on the schedule you’ve set, but I’ve been advised by vets to let dogs have as much water as they want. So I’m happy with frequent yard time, or even walks if that’s necessary. With a fenced in back yard this is not a problem. And while I’m a sucker for puppy eyes, I’ll treat how you want as well. You also don’t need to worry about strong discipline. I will never hit or kick your dog.

About: I grew up with dogs. As an adult rescued a dog, worked w rescues for over 10 yrs. Fostered rescues, worked at animal shelter. My own dogs I show and personal service train for me. I work full time at night and have time days and evenings for your fur babies. Work anytime around both yours and my schedule too. Because I live in apartment, I have fenced park to play. Play with my dogs too. Can be crated for safety too while I work. I have cameras on my dogs at all times for safety.

When Miller was hesitant to take medication, Brooke helped troubleshoot different delivery methods to make sure he got what he needed. And it worked! About: Hi, I’m Katie! I’m a college student living in Lexington. I love animals - I have two cats of my own! I have lots of pet care experience, including kitten/puppy and senior pet care. Check out my profile to see if we’d be a good fit! Currently I’m available weekends (Sat+Sun) and on select weekdays (Monday and Friday). I am also available during select hours on Tuesday-Thursday, but please message me before hand as I am working around my student schedule. Trust is important with pets! I always make sure to monitor body language and allow them to take as much time as they need to greet. I also ensure they remain comfortable throughout a visit!

About: I’ve been caring for pets from a very young age! I currently have 2 of my own. I adore animals and would love the chance to take care of yours! I go to school and work 3 days a week! However I will always be available fridays, Saturday, Sundays after 4:30, and most other days after 4:30! I can also do morning check ins before 9 typically! I will always introduce myself very calmly and extend my hand to say hello in a non threatening way! I always want your pets to be comfortable with me. I will also do anything extra the animal needs to make it feel safe and loved.

I always like to spend as much time as possible your pets, whether the pets parents are working during the day, or the family is on vacation. Whether you prefer your dog (s) walked and/or playing in the yard-- or just a potty break and quality indoors playtime/hangout time... I enjoy it, and it really bonds me with them (obviously the more time spent with them, the more comfortable the pets are with you). I love cats, too! Fish, you name it. I am new to the area, and looking to continue doing what I've done for 20 + years: My time is very flexible (*especially now just getting started) and prices are flexible. I like to spend as much time as possible with the pets! I am certainly willing to spend a lot of time with them. Excited to become fast friends with your pets! I do not live alone-- so I have always cared for pets in the client's home (or other friends and family) ... I will do whatever the client wants, and stick as close to the routine as possible; Dog walks, and/or playing with dogs inside the house (and in yards), and caring for cats inside the home are perfect. I am more than happy to adapt and do what pet parents ask, and love them as much as possible until they are back in your care.

About: My experience has been assisting my wife in caring for our animals while she is assisting in taking care of other people's animals through rover. It has been a wonderful and heartwarming experience meeting and bonding with so many pets with unique personalities. We have 1 male dog 1 female dog,1male cat and 1 female cat. I currently work at Sky Unlimited in Nicholasville Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. Off Saturday and Sunday. Will be available in the evenings to service your pets needs whether it's walking, playing, or feedings in the Lexington or Nicholasville areas. I can also do more than 1 drop ins during weekends if necessary. Our house has a fenced in back yard with a home security system with cameras in the back yard, the living room and the laundry room. We have 2 gates in the living room. A shelf in the laundry room with adequate amount of dog and cat food. Multiple water bowels are placed near the kitchen and laundry rooms as well.
