About: I have eight years of pet care experience ranging from dogs and cats to small rodents and reptiles. Not only have I been pet sitting since 2018, I’ve also been a frequent volunteer at my local animal shelter. I am the perfect sitter for your furry friend because I balance respect for a safety and appropriate guidance with a big heart and passion to make pets happy. I am familiar and comfortable with cleaning, vet visits, walking and providing medication as necessary. Additionally, I love to play, cuddle, and tend to the curiosity of my dogs, and I intend to do all the same for yours! I have two big pups of my own at home, but as I live at home with my family, they will not need to travel with me to other places to care for your pets. I work as a caregiver in the evenings Monday through Thursday 3:30-10 and Friday 3:30-8. So I am available all other hours of the day. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was little. We grew up with dogs and added cats to the mix when I was in high school. I’ve had several cats and dogs since then. Presently I have a two week on, two week off schedule. During my two weeks off I need something to do and pet sitting would both give me something to do, and allow me to have some dogs around. I’m a fan of walking so don’t worry about your puppets getting exercise! Pet care in my home is dictated by you, and enhanced by me. I’ll feed on the schedule you’ve set, but I’ve been advised by vets to let dogs have as much water as they want. So I’m happy with frequent yard time, or even walks if that’s necessary. With a fenced in back yard this is not a problem. And while I’m a sucker for puppy eyes, I’ll treat how you want as well. You also don’t need to worry about strong discipline. I will never hit or kick your dog.

My dog was an 80 pound malamute (the runt of her litter) that I used to walk around my neighborhood--though most of the dogs I have cared for have been much smaller. In the past, I have adopted cats from my friends and taken in a neighbor's cat. I have cared for the pets of my friends and neighbors for work, travel, and illness. I'm retired.
