Being gone all day, we can’t get the dogs out for potty breaks and they refuse to use potty pads! I messaged Vanessa and she promptly accepted. She communicated very well and we video chatted the day before our arrangement to touch base. Everything went perfectly, she wrote great notes and pictures for us about her outing with the doggies. About: I’ve cared for critters including opossums, cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, pigs, chickens & more! I have such a deep love for animals, which makes caring for them never feel like a job. Pets left in my care are in the best care possible. I am currently working part time, which makes it very easy to care for animals at the same time. My longest shifts are 8 hour days on Sundays & I usually have 3 whole days off per week. I typically do whatever makes the pet and the owner most comfortable, such as regular drop-in’s, overnight stays at the pets home, sleeping next to the pet. I keep up with any typical needs of the pet such as bathing, walking, etc. and I also like to keep the owner updated and send photos.

About: I have always had a dog in my home since i was a child. Collies, huskies, labs, pits, chows, shitzus, shepherds, big dogs, smalls dogs, reactive and chill. My current boy is a high maintenance ball of love whose fear reactivity presents as aggression. I have learned from him exactly how to make a stressed dog feel comfortable. I know how to care for a dog on their terms, while meeting their needs. My current job allows me to be highly flexible in my day to day. I make my own schedule and can easily rearrange things as needed. I have high integrity. The safety and happiness of the pet is my highest priority. I am always respectful of my clients home and belongings.

During that time, I saw how she gave up her job to care for her mom during her final months of illness and death with care, strength and love with determination to provide for her mom and herself. Since that time, Eilene has been focused on work and also volunteering for various activities and projects at our church. She is willing to help others including me when I had major surgery last year. Eilene brought our family a dinner and frequently called to see how I was doing again demonstrating that loving care she had for her mom. I know Eilene has a great care for animals as well. She likes to walk a lot and feel Eilene would be a good dog walker.”

Amelia did such a great job. We have been out of town for a while and both our parents are too old to walk our dog. Amelia was able to let herself into our house and get our puppy ready for her walk. It was so awesome to be able to trust her to take care of our baby. Thanks so much Amelia!
