About: I've been taking care of my household pets since I was about 10 years old. I love animals of all types, and I am especially partial to big dogs. Currently my schedule is very open. I do theatre in the evening, but I can be up and taking care of pets as early as is necessary. I live in an apartment that has plenty of space for all types of pets. The complex includes a dog park and enough space to give pets plenty of exercise.

I have availability on weekends as needed, I'm pretty flexible. When caring for pet in your home, I treat your fur baby with the same love and attention I’d give to my own. I will follow your routines and preferences, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, litter duty, or just hanging on the couch. About: I have my own mild mannered and indifferent pup and love to adventure with him and other four pawed friends. I’m currently in nursing school so I am free most days except for one day a week when I have clinical rotations and three short nights a week when I work. Otherwise I’m studying, going for runs, hiking, and otherwise exploring the outdoors with my pup. I would love to have your dog join. I am experienced with timid or shy dogs and working with them to gain trust through patience and affection. I also love to run on trails or on the loop with dogs as I train for a race and have a portable water bowl and waist clipped leash for dogs to share this joy with. I work three nights a week from 4-11 and have clinic for school one day a week which is 12 hours long. Otherwise I am home all day studying, running or enjoying time with my dog I love to start my day with a walk or a run with my pup and take study breaks to go outside and decompress with him. Meal times are monitored and I try and incorporate a stimulating game or activity at least once a day to keep my pup occupied and interested.

About: I've been caring for friend's and neighbor's pets since I was a teen, and I would love to come give your pets some affection and exercise while you're busy or away! I've lived with many dogs with many different personalities, and have experience working with reactive, anxious, and high-needs dogs. I adopted my (2yo) dog as a puppy and have been learning a lot about puppy training too! I practice positive reinforcement training and I'm happy to turn our walks and play time into opportunities to work on your pup's training. I'm available to come play with your dog, take them for walks, and make sure they get lots of loving attention! I currently work as a field botanist and my schedule is variable throughout the year. When I’m in town I can be available most times of day with advance notice. I try to keep my calendar updated a month or two in advance with my availability. I'm happy to follow any requests, rules, or special needs you have for your pet. I find treats to be a great way to befriend most pups- unless you have particular treats for your dog, I'll typically have treats to share! If your dog takes some time to warm up to strangers, or has trouble walking in places where they may interact with other dogs, I am more than happy to work through their needs with you and the pup.

A little bit about me first, so you can see if I would be a good fit. I am twenty-four years old, and a business student at Pima, where I am going into my final year of my Associates degree. Luckily, all of my classes for this upcoming semester (Fall '25) are online, so I can spend more time with the pets under my care. I also work part-time (no more than 30 hours a week) at a doggie daycare and boarding kennel by Harrison and Irvington. If you are uncomfortable with your pet being left alone for longer than 6-7 hours, please let me know, as we can possibly work something out. My goal is to curate an environment that allows both you, as the owner(s), and your pet(s) to be comfortable during your trip. Background & Experience: I have owned a wide variety of animals throughout my life. I have owned large dogs, small dogs, and cats. Also, I have had the pleasure of rescuing an albino corn snake and a bearded dragon, who are both doing really well. Currently, I have a 20 gallon fish tank, but my family used to have a huge tank for two Tiger Oscars that I would help take care of. My family always took the best care of our animals for as long as we could keep them comfortable, and as a result of that, I have experience with administering medications to all manner of animals. I even helped my grandparents deliver medication to a horse once. I grew up having animals around me all the time, and have begun chasing my passion in dog training and animal care earnestly in the last year or so. Even though I have owned and cared for animals my entire life, I am still learning a ton from this job at the doggie daycare. Since April, I have been working at a boarding kennel and doggie daycare. This job has taught me the importance of taking notes and logging things like feeding and potty habits. This job usually has me scheduled from 6am to 12pm, although some days they do have me work all day. However, on those days, I get a decent lunch break that allows me to swing by and take care of any animals in my care.
