“Hi there! This was my very first time using Rover and I was certainly very nervous to entrust my little guy with a new sitter since our recent move! However, Alex was fabulous ! He is everything you could want and more from a sitter and from a caregiver to your furry friends/family. Alex is extremely responsive, he arranged for at least 2 visits to meet my cat Oliver and to review schedule, questions, concerns, diet etc. Before actually starting the pet sitting. He got to know Oliver and his demeanor, and my cat took to Alex right away. Alex is gentle, playful and affectionate and you can see that he genuinely cares. I always worry when returning back from a trip about how Oliver may be and how my home may look, and Alex took such great care of my cat and my home looks just as I left it. I now feel comfortable going on more trips to see loved ones and I couldn't have done this without Alex.”

About: I have cared for my own dog for the past 13 years and sadly he died in February 2025. I walked him around my neighborhood consistently for all those years and now having that routine gone is difficult. Before having him as my own, I also helped take care of my families dog for several years. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and demeanors and all sizes too :) I am attending SUNY Cortland right now and that is the only large barrier in my weekly schedule. I can care and/or walk dogs after 7pm on Monday and Wednesdays. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday I can provide care all day with a days notice. Without notice I will most likely be working on Friday and therefore not available until after 4pm that day. I can house-sit on Fridays and Saturdays and into Sunday afternoon as well! I will maintain a safe and calm environment for your pet while caring for them and allow them to initiate any desired games or actions. I am willing to accommodate however you prefer for your dog when caring for them, just let me know of anything necessary :) Any questions or concerns for your dog's care are welcomed and appreciated as I prefer a heads up in advance of anything unusual or to keep an eye out/for. About: I’m an environmental educator at a non-profit nature center and I’ve taken care of animals for friends and family for 10 years. I have experience caring for all kinds of dogs from puppies to seniors. Care has included walking dogs, house sitting, and drop in visits. I have experience caring for cats and own a cat myself. I also have experience in administering medications to animals including pills and insulin injections. I love dogs, cats, and animals of all kinds, have experience working at a zoo, and experience caring for amphibians including turtles and frogs. I’m available for your pet care through-out the week. I do have a full time job, but would be available to house sit or drop-in during the week and on the weekends. I’m comfortable with house sitting or drop-ins. I’ll dog walk, administrator any needed meds, change litter boxes, and whatever your pets require, along with giving them lots of love and attention!

About: From a young age I have been taking care of my own and other people’s animals, including walking, bathing, training, playing with, and sharing love with all of the precious animals I meet! :) During the work week I am available to care for animals in the evenings (and mornings as needed) and any time of day on the weekends! Caring for your pets in your home would allow for them to feel as comfortable as possible while you are away. I would seek to make them feel as comfortable and loved as possible and would follow any instructions or recommendations left/given!

About: I started longer-term overnight dog sitting about three years ago. I do frequent daytime potty breaks for friends when they are out of town. I have watched cats as well. I worked as a veterinary assistant for two years and I enjoy both cat and dog snuggles. Not currently working much, schedule is flexible which is ideal for your puppies that may need potty breaks while you are at work during the day or away on weekends. Unfortunately, I will only go to the clients home. I will not bring other animals into my house. I do own a cat and this is something my husband and I have agreed on.

As a teacher, I have summers off and will soon be working part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, playtime, and quality attention. During the school year, I’m also an early bird and start my mornings with an average 2-mile walk with my own dog, so staying active and keeping pets on a routine is something I truly enjoy. I care for every pet as if they were my own and always focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In a client’s home, I try to keep pets on their normal routine with feeding, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and plenty of attention and affection. I also make sure their space stays clean and that they feel calm while their owners are away.

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life! I’ve had family fur babies since I was young. I learned at an early age the responsibility it takes to love and care for your pets. I prefer to come to your home where you and your pets are most comfortable. I’m qualified to care for pets varying in age, from pup/kitten to senior care. Unfortunately at this time, my living situation does not allow me to keep your pup at my place. Overnights at your residence are the only service I can provide.

About: I have been around animals my whole life. My range of experience goes from new born puppies and up. I have been dog sitting for my neighbor and some family friends for about 2 years now. I work 2 overnights a week at my job Sunday night and Tuesday night but would still be able to help out at night before going in and in the morning after I get out. I can make any accommodations for any of your animals needs whether that’s needing to only go out on a leash or following specific training plans.

About: I work from home, so I am always available for the pets! I love all ages, puppies to older dogs. I had a dog growing up, she just recently passed, so I have experience with all ages. I work from home, so I am available to be with the pets all day long. I love to go on walks so I would love to bring them along with me!
