About: I was a dog walker and pet sitter in college. Since then I’ve mostly pet sat for friends. Recently started working from home and am available for more regular sitting and walking. I have a cat and an elderly/special needs dog myself and have experience caring for all kinds. I well versed in medicating, and other special needs. About: I’m a dog person and am experienced with all kinds of dogs in all phases of life! Exercise, stability and love seems to be golden. I aim to keep a pet’s home routine for feeding and walks that they are used to. I’m consistent with feeding, meds and all specific instructions. I’m working from home these days and can give your pet the care it needs. I never want an animal to suffer with a full bladder or no fresh water. I also am big on exercise for dogs. I am in Sebastopol where we take advantage of all parks, walks and wonderful outdoor opportunities. My older gentle female dog can keep your pet company. I am also able to crate dogs if desired.

I can provide 30 min-1 hour walks, or stimulate/play with your dog(s) for 30 min-1 hour in the safety of your home yard or nearby dog park.

Certified in Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR, committed to ongoing professional development for safety, enrichment and pet care best practices. I offer services around a part-time job, so if I am available, I am not going to go to work that day. Dog Walking appointments are available during daylight hours unless otherwise arranged. I live close to downtown and can drive or bike to you as well. We have space for one or two small or medium dogs to stay with us or attend to dogs or cats of any size in their own home. I have extensive experience with senior dogs, administering medication, and I understand the patience it takes to work with fearful/timid dogs. While caring for your dog I will send updates via text messages with pictures to ease your mind and let you know that your pet is in the best care possible. I have cat sat for the past 3 years through word of mouth and love creating deep bonds with the animals I care for. Long walks or fun play, keeping their schedules regular is my goal. I will tend to your pet throughout the day since this is my time off and I would not be working. This means, early morning wake up, 30 minutes to an hour walk, 30 minute rest, feeding, followed by relaxation and play until noon. At around noon, another walk (30 minute) and/or play or relaxing depending on energy level of the dog and finally evening, another walk and/or play. If you have a yard, there would be intermittent outdoor time throughout the day, especially as some dogs love to sunbathe, smell flowers, or chase lizards. Basically, I will tend to their needs and make them feel as comfortable as they could be without their owners around. I can take your pet on walks 2-3 times a day (less or more if you would like) and tend to their needs. Since I will be doing this during my time off, I will mostly be home with the dogs (at most 2-3 hours away total doing groceries or going to gym). I can crate your dog if needed, but they will mostly be with me. If there are parks around, I will gladly take them there.
