About: I’ve had dogs all of my life, have taken training courses, read books on positive training practices, and volunteered at shelters. I am a writer who works from home with a 3 year old 12.5lb playful doxie/terrier mix who needs walks early and often — so much of my day is spent on slow sniffaris and trips to the park. I live alone in a large apartment with several plush dog beds strewn about, so there is plenty of space to stretch and play — and my couch sits along three large windows where dogs can perch to watch the passersby. If your dog needs a sitter or a sleepover, I’d love to have them — and my little pup would love it even more. Since I’m around all day, I’m available to meet your dog’s special needs — administering medicine, adhering to feeding times, playing tug of war, whatever the case may be. We have warm and happy home full of natural treats waiting for you and your dog. I work from home and so am available to fulfill your dog’s needs without bother! I never leave my own dog for more than a few hours at a time so you can rest easy knowing your dog is getting the focus and energy they need. Dogs in my home get many daily walks, at least one trip to the park every day — and most of all sensitive and informed care. My family makes fun of me for how attentive I am to my own dog, brushing his teeth and treating him with healthy snacks, watching him closely for changes in behavior and physical afflictions. Your dog would receive the same care (plus or minus the teeth brushing). And you will receive as many photos as you can handle ensuring they are having fun.

“We sent a last minute request when our plans fell through and Iryna was wonderful! Honey had a great time and Iryna sent lots of pictures. We would absolutely book again and recommend her to others.”

About: I have been an animal lover and owner for over 30 years. My 14 year old Lab is truly my best friend. He is used to other animals and very laid back. I provide lots of patience, affection and exercise for all animals. We go out 3-4 times per day for walks and potty breaks. Live right by Cherokee Park, which is a great venue for pups. I just returned home from living/working in California for a year+. Therefore my reviews are from 2023 and earlier. Please let me know about anything your pet needs to feel safe and happy. The more information the better. I can handle separation anxiety and other behavioral issues but prefer to know ahead of time. Please make sure your pet is treated for fleas/ticks. If your baby has a history of indoor urination, please provide diapers/belly bands. Happy to accommodate all ages and stages. I truly enjoy the company of animals and also like to walk often. Being in the park and exercising helps lift my spirits. My dog has improved my life in many ways and he makes me a better human. My condo is very pet friendly and permitted by the HOA. Pets are given a cool, calm and comfy environment. Plenty of memory foam beds and free access to filtered water. (Treats also, if owners request/permit). I am almost obsessively neat and always treat my customers’ homes with respect. My goal is to be as unobtrusive as possible. Scrupulous about keeping your home secure while you are away. I ask that you leave clear and detailed instructions to maintain a safe & secure home. Also, for long term services, I do not mind bringing in mail, putting trash/recycle bins out.

“Kaitlan is very professional and communicated with me by text promptly every time. We are in a motorhome and use Rover to find out of town pet sitters so we can find a safe place for my pups to stay during the day while we tour different areas. She was great.”

“Christina was incredibly accommodating, and took excellent care of Lillian, who was a little stressed over being someplace new for the first time. Wish I lived in the area so I could book her again; Christina was excellent and communicates well (and sent photos during the stay, which was a bonus!)”

“Myrna is amazing! I can tell she really cares for the animals as much as I do. I HIGHLY recommend her if you can get her. Her space is great for our family additions.”

About: If you are looking for someone to love your dog like their own and treat like a prince/princess, than I am exactly what you are looking for. I have always had a love for animals, especially dogs. I grew up with 3 dogs in my house and have been able to care for them for many years. My family and friends call me the animal whisperer because animals seem to connect with me, even those who usually don’t like strangers. I love walking dogs and going to dog parks. I live in a two story two house with lots of room and a front gated yard. I can be a morning bird or night owl. I look forward to meeting your fury member of the family. I am a full time student and stepped away from my corporate management position. I have a open schedule due to online schooling. I have dependable transportation as well. I am able to customize my services to the requests of my clients. I will always give 100% effort to make their pets feel loved and safe. Also relieving some stress for their owner, knowing they are in good hands while they are away.

About: Hi there! I’m Andrea, and I’ve been working in the pet care world since I was 14—starting at a boarding facility and growing into daycare/boarding management, grooming, and even working in vet clinics and rescues. With almost 10 years of hands-on experience (and 4 years as a professional groomer, having attended Nash Academy), I bring both skill and heart to every pet I care for. I offer a unique blend of services, from grooming and adventure walks to in-home daycare with a fully fenced yard and four friendly resident pups (2 small, 1 tiny, and 1 large) for safe, supervised play. My home is equipped with indoor/outdoor security cameras, and I share the space with a fellow pet care pro who has vet clinic experience and works from home—so there’s always someone around to give your pet attention and love! 🐶 What I Offer: • In-home daycare & boarding • Professional grooming • Hikes, travel walks & enrichment outings • Pet photography (because they deserve the spotlight!) • Training reinforcement based on your methods—consistency is key! From high-energy pups to shy seniors, pets with special medical needs to those still learning the ropes, I’ve seen (and loved) it all. I also have experience with cats, small mammals, and even horses! I’m here to give your pets the care, enrichment, and love they deserve—whether that means a fun adventure, a spa day, or a cozy home-away-from-home. Every pet is unique, and I love learning how to best meet their individual needs. Let’s find out what makes your pet happiest—can’t wait to meet them! I work in a grooming salon Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday–Saturday from around 9 AM to 6 PM. While I’m away, your pet will still be in great hands—my roommate (a fellow Rover sitter, background checked and experienced) works from home full-time and helps care for all our guest pets. Our home is pet-friendly and thoughtfully set up for safety and fun: ✔️ Fully fenced-in yard for play and potty breaks ✔️ Indoor and outdoor cameras for 24/7 monitoring ✔️ Screened-in back door to allow easy in/out access, if your pet prefers that freedom ❗For safety reasons, we cannot accept known escape artists—we want to keep everyone safe and secure. We’re very flexible and happy to customize care to meet your pet’s needs. Whether your pup needs extra potty breaks, a cozy crate setup, or a specific routine, just let us know—it never hurts to ask! We’ll do our best to make it work. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. As a professional groomer, I believe deeply in humanity over vanity—every animal deserves patient, compassionate care, especially those with special needs or behavioral challenges. To provide the best possible care, honesty is essential. Please be open about your pet’s needs, quirks, or any concerns—no judgment here, ever. I’m here to advocate for your pet, because we are the voice for the voiceless. Together, we can create a safe, supportive space where your pet feels loved and understood.

“Cha Cha and Angel treated my pup with such care and love! She was walked and played with multiple times each day, given yummy treats, and loved on like family. They sent updates and kept me informed. I never had a worry! I will easily choose them again to watch my doggo.”
