About: I grew up with dogs and still watch my parents’ dog when they go out of town. I love meeting new animals, playing with them, and caring for them. I am currently doing Lyft full time so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and can adjust my driving hours to whatever works best. I love playing with animals, petting them, and giving them cuddles. I have a pet of my own so I understand how hard it is to leave them and am happy to provide photos during my visits.

About: My boy kitty passed away last year at 14 years old. He became very sick in his last 2 years so his care required daily shots, weekly vet visits. I became very proficient in giving pills by mouth as well. He was big and strong and didn’t like the vet or car rides so i learned how to best manage a very scared kitty. My mom had a senior dog who developed diabetes so I cared for him in my home for the last few years of his life. I gave him insulin shots twice a day and performed his medical care. I gave him meds by mouth and performed other care duties. I work part-time and am in school at ODU online so my hours are flexible. I live in the Richmond area and service a fairly wide range as I have my own reliable transportation. I prefer to pet-sit in the clients home as I have a cat myself. My grandma rescued hunting dogs, particularly hounds and beagles, when I was growing up, so I am safety minded when it comes to pets, especially ones who get scared easily.

About: From wolfhounds to chihuahuas, I have petsat them all! I have experience with giving medicine, assisting senior dogs with mobility, exercising, playing, feeding, and giving all the affection needed. Petsitting would be split with my workday on Monday -Wednesday. I can come in the morning, during my lunch break, and spend as much time as needed after work with your pet. Friday through Sunday I can do as many visits and walks as necessary. It is safer and better to build trust with any animal if there is a meet & greet before petsitting. This helps me know the routines of your household and shows the pets that I'm not a stranger when I come to care for them. Sticking to the routines/key words they know, engaging them with praise, play, or treats, and letting the dog/cat have space when needed - are all ways to help your pet be at ease.

About: I have grown up with pets (mostly cats) and love all animals dearly. I have a special knack with them. They seem to trust me, even those who are often wary of most folk. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, mice/rats, rabbits, reptiles, birds, and a variety of farm animals. My partner and I currently operate a cleaning and animal care business called Hygeia & Artemis. If you are interested in having your home cleaned in addition to the pet care provided we can discuss in person. It's always nice to return to a clean home and happy animals! I am self employed making it easy to adjust my schedule so I am available to take your fur child(ren) for walks or care for them in your absence. I currently don't have any pets but I always adhere to whatever care instructions the owner requests. I gain an animal's trust really quickly and treat all animals with love and respect.

About: I love dogs more than humans! I was a dog trainer for a short time and worked at a veterinary office as kennel assistant. I also volunteer at a local shelter. I am currently a virtual case manager for a foster base rescue, going on three years. I’ve dog sat for multiple people and friends with going to their house, for walks or visits. If I were to come to you, i would let the dog out in the yard or for a walk and give plenty of pet loving and any additional notes you have for me! I will not take a dog to a dog park for safety reasons. I will do everything in my power to take care of your dog, just as I would want someone to take care of my dog. I am available at different times of the week. I am typically home but I am on call every day. I am trying to make this a part to full time gig so please be patient as I am currently changing my life around. Send me a message if you need someone and we can chat! My schedule is all over the place and i’m currently on call 5 days a week. I am trying to get enough clients where I can make a set schedule at work or make this a job. I accept fenced in years, dog walking in yard, or dog walking in the neighborhood. I prefer no dog parks unless it’s an apartment small dog park with not much traffic, just for safety reasons.

About: I’ve been a cat mama since our family cat chose me as his favorite nap spot the day I came home from the hospital! I raised my next bestie from the day she was born until she crossed the rainbow bridge, and I’ve loved my Fiona for nearly 14 years. I have plenty of experience with cats of all ages, including administering medication, accommodating quirky needs, and navigating sassy attitudes! I also grew up with a family dog and helped care for him while living at home and during college breaks. That included feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship. I bring patience and attention to each pet’s personality and routine, and I’m happy to learn all the little details that help yours feel comfortable and loved. I currently work freelance and have a very flexible schedule so my days are built around what bookings I have in a given week. Let me know what your needs are and we can work something out 🙂 Each visit comes will include a food, water and liter refresh plus treats, playtime and plenty of cuddles. I have plenty of experience with cats of all temperaments and will adjust care according to your instruction.
