About: Got my first dog at 8 years old and have been hooked ever since. Trained my labrador retriever to be special needs certified when he was 2. Been helping pet parents around the neighborhood for as long as I can remember. Always love to meet new people and their furry friends! Currently based in Richmond, VA as a Junior at VCU. Slowly finishing up my finals so my availability is becoming more and more flexible! My classes officially end May 5th so I’ll be completely free then! Pet care is very case sensitive and relies on the owners understanding of their pet. Hoping to connect with owners about their pet’s specific needs and provide that care to them to the best of my ability, whatever it may be!

About: I have cherished animals my entire life - from having my own to caring for others. Currently, I am a dog mom to a 4 year pit bull mix who is full of energy and love. I have experience with big dogs, high energy, senior and those who need frequent exercise/walks. I work from home so I have the time and flexibility to take care of your fur baby! I’m happy to take them for walks, play with their toys or cuddle on the couch. My pet is crate trained and has gone through obedience classes so I understand how helpful structure can be. Every pets personality and needs are different so I’m happy to follow a routine that works for them.

About: Ive taken care of many breeds of dogs from various sizes and ages since I can remember. I currently own a puppy and am loving every part of it. I currently work part-time from 5am-9am so I have plenty of time during the rest of the day to take care of your pets whenever! I love taking my dogs on trails and around the neighborhood to make sure they get plenty of exercise and enrichment. This is important to ensure they stay happy!

I work from home MWF and off on the weekends , so your dog will have company, attention, and supervision throughout the day. My husband and I are active and love going on walks, exploring parks, and enjoying outdoor adventures. Perfect opportunities for your pup to join in on the fun. Whether it’s morning playtime, mid-day potty breaks, or evening strolls, we make sure pets are engaged, exercised, and happy. Of course, we also love cozy downtime, so there’s always space for blanket cuddles and belly rubs. In your home, we stick to all your guidelines and expectations, making sure everything stays secure and exactly as we found it. At our house, we ask that pups are potty trained since we have carpet upstairs, but don’t worry, I work from home, so your dog can enjoy frequent trips to our fenced backyard for playtime, potty breaks, or fresh-air fun. I previously worked at a kennel-free dog boarding facility, where I helped care for multiple dogs at once in a safe, supervised environment. For drop-in visits and house sitting, I follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, playtime, and any specific routines your pet is used to. During visits, I make sure pets get the attention, exercise, and enrichment they need, whether that’s a long walk, playtime, or just companionship. I also make sure basics like fresh water, clean feeding areas, and litter boxes are taken care of. For dog walks, I focus on safe handling, appropriate exercise for your dog’s energy level, and making sure they return home happy and settled. About: I I have two dogs of my own one of which I trained to be my personal service dog. My second dog is a dog I originally fostered and couldn’t let go of. I’ve fostered both puppies and kittens and worked on crate training and all the potty scaries with puppies and I’m extremely patient with them and try to meet each dog where they are at. I have experience giving medications to pets as one of my cats has to have daily oral medication. I love my pets and would treat yours as if they were my own 🖤 I have a very flexible schedule and I’m on the road and I have free time during the day and evenings where I am able to fit pet care-sitting into my schedule. I’m a very attentive pet parent myself and don’t typically leave my own dog unattended outside in the yard and I try to be very interactive and engage so they can play. I have 3 cats and enjoy playing with them and spending time with them so they feel cared for.

About: I've never not had animals in my life! I spent my early years on a working farm and have always had a way with animals. Dogs love me (cats, too!) and I them ❤️ I have many years of experience in the veterinary field and know what to do in emergencies. I am currently working part time and my schedule is flexible. I do work away from home for 5-8 hours a day, split shift. I have dogs amd cats but can keep them separate, if necessary. My dogs are dog friendly, although my beagle mix is very bossy (typical!) Dogs will be in the house with my dogs, but they can be separated, if needed. I can crate, if the parents supply the crate. Dogs will be leash walked in the wide front yard but we can also go across the street to the dog park, too!

About: My daughter and I have been doing Rover together for years. This summer, she is home from school at UVA and excited to help out with additional tasks like dog walking and house sitting! We have both had dogs our entire lives, all sizes and life stages. We began Rover in 2019 after losing our 10 yr old black lab to diabetes, looking to keep our home lively. We are both excited to meet your pets and help out! I work from home and will be with your best friend all day long. I am up early for my morning walk and would love the company of your dog! I live in a great dog friendly community, we have lots of great green space and multiple dog parks within walking distance! Would happily spend the day with your dog at the dog park if that is a good place for them.

About: I’ve volunteered with the Richmond SPCA when I was younger in my teens by walking, feeding, and cleaning up after dogs of all sizes. I’m a current cat owner of my cat Tigress of 5 years. And I’m the dog sitter my parents need when they go on trips out of town and I am available. Their past dog who had diabetes needed regular insulin shots after every meal. And their current dog today who I have watched over since he was 8 weeks old; taking of feeding and exercise needs. I currently work a 2-2-3 schedule meaning my days available with be different every week, but I am guaranteed at least 2-3 days off every week to help with your dog’s exercise needs! I only offer dog walking services as of right now and I can gladly visit you and your pets home for their dog walking needs

About: I have owned animals my whole life. Since I was about 8 I was always the one responsible for their care and well being. In high school and throughout college - even now I was always the one friends and family relied on to care for their pets while on vacation or otherwise out of town. I am a college graduate and currently a full time mom and you can trust that I will be nothing but professional and responsible in your home and with your beloved pets. I work part time as a household manager and have open availability except for Monday-Thursday 4pm to 6pm so I have plenty of time to walk, play with, feed and give lots of pets to your pets! My husband works from home and will also be available to let out your dog for potty breaks if I happen to be out of the house. I am completely free on the weekends as well. Our home has a lovely fenced backyard where your dog can frolic and join us in a game of fetch. We have 1 friendly terrier who would love a doggy friend! We also have 1 reclusive cat and a 4 month old baby - please no dogs that would have issues with them in the home.

About: My boy kitty passed away last year at 14 years old. He became very sick in his last 2 years so his care required daily shots, weekly vet visits. I became very proficient in giving pills by mouth as well. He was big and strong and didn’t like the vet or car rides so i learned how to best manage a very scared kitty. My mom had a senior dog who developed diabetes so I cared for him in my home for the last few years of his life. I gave him insulin shots twice a day and performed his medical care. I gave him meds by mouth and performed other care duties. I work part-time and am in school at ODU online so my hours are flexible. I live in the Richmond area and service a fairly wide range as I have my own reliable transportation. I prefer to pet-sit in the clients home as I have a cat myself. My grandma rescued hunting dogs, particularly hounds and beagles, when I was growing up, so I am safety minded when it comes to pets, especially ones who get scared easily.
