About: Hello there! My name is Sammy and I have been around animals all of my life and they have inspired me in so many different ways. I have been managing doggy daycare/boarding facilities for a little over 3 years now so I guess you can say pet care is my specialty! I am dog and cat CPR certified, certified through the DHA (dog handler academy),I know how to give injections, and my knowledge on dog behavior is quite extensive. I have decided to go back to school as well which is why my schedule is so open. Currently I own a 2 year old Golden Retriever as well as the cutest cat ever that are both my world. I hope you decide to let me into your pets heart as I treat every pet like my own. ~Wags & Wiggles, Sammy🐾 I am going back to school which means I have a very open schedule. I am also pretty flexible with times and last minute bookings. When it comes to a clients home,I always like for us to meet before I start my services so everyone feels more comfortable. “Kate was fabulous with my dog and my roommate's dog from the very beginning! My girl is usually loud and unfriendly with strangers but warmed up to Kate almost immediately. Everything about the experience was wonderful and I'd absolutely recommend Kate.”

“I cannot recommend Sierra highly enough! My dog, Mickey, ran down the hall to meet her on her second visit. He’s never done that. She obviously had Mickey’s seal of approval immediately. Sierra is conscientious, very communicative, and extremely kind. She has my complete trust and respect, because she treats Mickey as if he were her own. To me that is the absolute best quality in a dog walker! Choosing Sierra as your dog walker is the absolute correct decision! Having Sierra walk your dog will keep you worry free and happy while your pup gets good exercise, has fun and is treated like family 😃”

About: I love absolutely love dogs! I work from home as a Generative AI associate so my schedule is very flexible and ideal for taking care of your dog when you're busy or away. I'm available mornings, afternoons, or evenings, basically whenever you need. And my apartment is located in Shockhoe Bottom near two parks, ideal for walks. I grew up with Lhasa Apso pups (Cassie and Teddy) and have been dog-sitting and dog-walking for about 5 years. I've taken care of a variety of breeds, ranging from a Chinese crested to a boxer-pitbull mix. I'm a very compassionate, gentle, and patient person. I love spending time with dogs and look forward to meeting yours! :) I work from home, so pet care fits into my schedule super easily. I can take dogs out for potty breaks and walks as needed. I live in an apartment, so my living situation better aligns with smaller dog breeds. But park proximity still allows for walks and outside time.

About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was 8. I love caring for them. Always have my eye on them as I love making them feel at home and safe. It fits into my weekly routine as I’m always sitting at home. Having a lot of free time, I chose to take care of dogs as that is something I love. I have a fenced back yard with lots of space to run and go potty. My house is pet friendly meaning they can climb on anything or lay on anything.

“Sydney was great! She was very communicative both before and throughout the visit and went above and beyond by refreshing the water for my dogs! I will definitely be rebooking!”

About: Hi! I have taken care of pets from different backgrounds and families and am willing to adjust and accommodate to any environment that is needed for the pet I currently work a full time job in Short Pump and commute home to the city. I am able to work around pet parents schedules if given enough notice in advance, and I appreciate those willing to work with my own schedule as well. No access to a yard for pups, and I do not have the space to accommodate for pups, therefore for boarding purposes I can only care for cats. I have an extra litter box, toys, and treats for your pet. Please feel free to bring your pets own food and their personal toys if necessary.

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember.. Growing up with everything from cats and dogs to rabbits, spiders, ferrets and even the occasional rescue critter. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I truly feel at home when I’m surrounded by furry friends. I absolutely adore cats! Their quirky personalities & quiet cuddles melt my heart & I love the energy & companionship dogs bring. Whether it’s playtime, long walks, or just keeping your pet company while you’re away, I treat every animal with the same love & care I give my own. My schedule has its quirks, but it works in your pet’s favor! Tuesdays and Thursdays are actually my most flexible days, perfect for morning and evening walks or extended hangouts with your furry companion. As a full-time grad student and part-time social worker, my hours can be a little unpredictable but I always make time for what matters. Even with a busy calendar, caring for animals is a priority I never push aside. Whether it’s a midday drop-in or a sunset stroll, I’m happy to fit in the love and attention your pet deserves. Safety, trust, and a calm environment are at the heart of the care I provide. Whether I’m coming to your home for a walk, a cuddle session, or staying for an overnight house sit, I treat your space and your pets with the utmost respect and care. I know how important it is to feel confident leaving your furry family member in someone else’s hands, and I take that responsibility seriously. I follow any routines you’ve set, keep their environment clean and peaceful, and make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved at all times. Whether it’s daily check-ins, long walks, or overnight companionship, I show up with patience, attention, and genuine care.

“I forgot to book my walks for the week and I work 12 hour shifts, so it is imperative that my tiny guy ( who refuses to go inside on puppy pads) be taken out. Bridgette saved the day, even with such short notice. My dog also loves her. I definitely recommend her to anyone.”
