“Alison took great care of my two older dogs, including a complicated medication regimen. She’s communicative, trustworthy, responsible, and kind. And she sent wonderful photos each day!”

“Jewel did a wonderful job stepping in with little preparation when my friend couldn’t stay with my pups while I was away. After a video meet and greet, Jewel came and figured out my pups complicated routines. She messaged when she had questions or concerns. Her co-sitter, Scout, was good with my dogs and extra careful with my elderly blind guy. My old guy, PV, wasn’t eating and we figured out that he had been missing his heart medication as well as his pain medication! As soon as his medication was straightened out, he was back chowing down. He fell in love with Jewel, leaning on her for pets — which he never does! Pearl, the diva head of the household, fell for Jewel right off and followed her around and slept with her and Scout. Not only did Jewel take great care of the pups, walking them daily and brushing them, she kept up the house so it was neat when I returned, took out the garbage, got the mail, and did poop scooping in the back yard as well as watering the plants! I will certainly have Jewel stay with my dogs again when I travel. If you have pets you love that may have complicated medication schedules, Jewel can manage and I highly recommend her.”

“Amee was so great with all my fur babies. She sent me daily updates with pictures. And she took such good care of my home while she stay here. I will definitely recommend her and will be booking her again! Thanks so much Amee!!!”

“Maddie was wonderful! Our fur baby Archie is terrified of fireworks. As we would be gone on the 4th, I wanted to make we had the right person to take care of him. Archie fell in love when they met before we left. Maddie was very responsive through the whole process and gave us complete peace of mind while we were gone. We will definitely be asking Maddie to take care of Arch on future trips! We highly recommend her if you need a reliable, loving person to care for your fur babies!!”

“Words cannot express how grateful we are for Kendrick! He kept incredible care of our home and three dogs, kept us updated throughout our time away, and left our home in sparkling shape. We seriously could not have had a better experience or asked for a better house/dog sitter 🧡 thank you thank you thank you!”

About: My entire life has consisted of dogs and cats in the house and I love my furry pals. Currently co-parenting two senior dogs. Can teach sit, lay, stay and better walking habits. Also experience with animal home check-ups, feeding meds and little play dates. Pet care fits really naturally into my routine! I'm a stay-at-home artist with a flexible schedule, which means I can easily work in a few pet care clients throughout the week or weekend. Whether it’s drop-ins, walks, or extended stays, I can usually adapt my day to meet your pet’s needs. Let’s chat and see how I can help! I always aim to keep pets as comfortable and stress-free as possible by sticking closely to their usual routine—feeding times, walks, play, medications, and all the little things that help them feel secure while their humans are away. When I’m in your home, I’m respectful of your space and thoughtful about your pet’s environment. I take the time to understand their personality, preferences, and any special instructions you provide. Whether it's giving extra love to a senior pet, administering meds, or just keeping a shy cat company, I care for every animal like they’re my own. I also keep pet parents updated with messages and photos so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your furry friend is in good hands.

“Mary spent a week with our dogs and they were lucky to have her! They were clearly well-loved while we were away, and she sent plenty of updates through their time together”

“Jamie was a caring and dependable person while watching my dog and house sitting. She was attentive to my dogs needs (which are more than your average dog), and I came home to a happy and healthy pup, and a clean house! She is super knowledgeable on dogs and was patient and understanding with my anxious girl. I feel safe and secure having her stay with my dog, which allows me to enjoy my trip with peace of mind. This was my first time using Rover for a dog sitter, and she was super communicative and provided plenty of updates and information while I was away just like I’d requested. Looking forward to having her dog sit for me again in the future!”

About: I’ve been house sitting and taking care of pets my whole life as I’ve always owned dogs, horses, and had other fun pets as well. But starting at 16 I traveled around my city to stay over night and care for beloved pets. At 18 years old, I graduated JTED as a certified veterinary assistant. I have worked at vet clinics throughout my life, large and small animals. I have cared for all ages of animals from puppies to senior dogs. I treat every pet I care for as if it were my own, I know the worry of being a pet owner away from their animals. I always want to make life as easy as I can for the pets and their owners. I’m currently taking a year after college to do internships and travel. This means I have plenty of time to be able to spend with clients’ pets and giving them the best care possible. I’m happy to stay with pets over night to care for them better, or traveling to see them throughout the day. I want to make sure clients are at ease knowing someone is caring for their pets as if they were their own. At my home, I have a fenced yard to let the pets run around. I have 5 friendly dogs, including a senior pet I care for daily. At a clients or my own home, I always check water to make sure it is clean and available. I’m happy to take dogs in and out as much as they want to play, explore, or to use the bathroom. I try to make the environment I’m staying in as comfortable and enjoyable as possible for all pets in my care.

“Chelsea is great! This is the second time we have been lucky enough to book her for house sitting for multiple nights. She is responsible, responsive, and most importantly great with our two dogs. We will continue to reach out to her whenever we need sitting in the future.”

About: Hey! I'm Lorin, and you'll meet Aero and Vega too of you board with us! I started Rover as a way to get my puppies some outside interaction with new pets and people. I got them RIGHT when Corona started, so I was looking for a way to help them socialize. We've stuck with it, and now my babies are great babysitters. For all kinds of critters! My schedule is usually pretty flexible. I work generally 2 or 3 days a week as a bartender. So most of my days can be finagled. I have a fenced yard and a dog door, a spare room if a critter needs space, and animals have free roam over the house...and the furniture. I love all and will care for all the critters. I bartend a couple nights a week, but can still work out a schedule if you message me. I super appreciate schedules and rules for your critters, the more detailed the easier it is for me. Boarding at my house needs to be talked about as I do have a fence, but there are farm animals and places where a dog may escape.

“Lyz was absolutely fantastic! She watched our two dogs, Molly and Wyatt, for 8 days and went above and beyond in every way. Communication was great—she sent regular photo updates, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We have a large, energetic 1-year-old shepherd who’s still very much in his puppy phase, and Molly, our 4-year-old, tends to be a bit skittish with new people. Lyz was incredibly patient, and Molly warmed up to her beautifully. She stayed in our home and treated it with the utmost care—we came back to everything exactly as we left it. It truly felt like she cared for both our pets and our home as if they were her own. I would highly recommend Lyz to anyone looking for a reliable, respectful, and caring sitter. We feel lucky to have found her!”

“Elsa was great, and our pups really liked her. She was easy to communicate with and we were very comfortable leaving Radcliffe and Sophie in her care while we went away for a quick 24 hours. If our calendar and hers match up in the future, we'll happily reach out to her again to stay at our home and watch over the pups :)”

“Mileah did such an amazing job! Our dogs are a little nervous around new people, and they were right at home with Mileah! We have never had Joe get so comfortable with a person so quick. Mileah was super communicative and made us feel at ease. We will be booking with her again.”

“I am new to the area and needed to find someone that would treat my baby as family like I do. Brenda was that and more. I was terrified to go out of town with someone new staying with her and very quickly that fear and worry went away. Brenda is the sweetest and gives frequent updates. Elora usually takes time warming up and will skip meals and she didn’t with her! I will be asking her to stay with Elora for all my work trips. We are grateful and highly recommend her… unless it is when I need her because I don’t want to Share 🤣”

“I’m an extremely anxious cat mom of three, and leaving my babies for a whole week felt incredibly stressful. From the moment I met Pat before I left for my trip, she put my mind at ease, and throughout the 8 nights she stayed at my home, she went above and beyond in every way. Pat sent me 10+ photos a day, which meant so much to me. I could see my cats’ sweet faces and their comfort in her care. She gave me frequent updates on their eating habits, litter box use, playtime, and overall behavior—every thing that matters so much to a cat parent when they’re away. She treated them like her own and slept with them every night so they wouldn’t feel alone. I felt truly lucky to have found her. I came home to a clean house and happy, relaxed kitties. If you're a fellow anxious pet parent, or just someone looking for the absolute best care for your pets, I cannot recommend Pat highly enough. She’s thoughtful, communicative, responsible, and clearly has a genuine love for animals.”
