About: I have grown up with both cats and dogs, and then when I was able to I had two large breeds of my own for many years. Currently, we have a 2-yr old Bernese mountain dog and an older cat at home. I’m a teacher with a very open availability during summer and would love to fill it with taking care of your dogs - any breed but happy to provide confidence for high energy larger breeds. I’m a full time teacher, so while weekdays do work, it would need to be around that sort of schedule during the school year. I can provide short term care on weekdays and more intensive care on weekends. During summer months I am wide open to provide care as needed. I’m an avid runner and LOVE to be outside so I’m happy to provide short or long walks for your animal. During summer months, my availability is based largely on your needs.

About: Since I can remember I’ve been around pets. At one point in time I had 6 dogs and 3 cats! I understand body language and an animals needs. About: I’ve raised border collies most of my life, I’m great with high energy personalities. We live on 10 acres of woodland backed up to state land so there’s plenty of room for fun! I have one eight year old female border now, Aurora. She loves fetch and gets along great with other pups and cats. I understand the quirks behind dogs and can manage their varying attitudes well. I’m great with farm animals and can help out there if needed too. I don’t always bring Aurora with me, but if you’re okay with the socialization she loves the company. I’m willing to work with your schedules and give your dogs the best day to day care I can. I’ve been there too, it’s nice to know your loved ones are taken care of while you’re away. I’d like to help you out anyway I can. I work from home and my schedule is light, I have plenty of time for your dog’s outdoor physical needs and affection. We typically have a 6am potty and a 10pm potty as our first and last for the day. Our dog was crate trained as a puppy but now enjoys just as much of the furniture as we do. Your pet is welcome however they’re most comfortable. We do have an invisible fence if your pup is accustomed to one but I never leave our dog or let her out of my sight.

About: I worked in a vet clinic during college and I studied animal science for a year and a half. I had cats growing up and hope to get a dog one day soon! We have 2 young kids right now, so we are not ready to own our own pet just yet. I am great with training and have trained my friends’ dogs and my cats. Both cats that I most recently lived with knew “up” and know how to sit on command. I am a teacher during the school year and home during the summer. I am free all summer except a trip here and there. I try to keep my calendar as updated as possible, but you can always reach out and ask! I have a big yard, but it is not fenced in so your dog would have to be on a leash. I do not have any pets, but we do have 2 kids.

About: Hi there, I’m Lydia! I have my own dog so I make it my mission to always accommodate to her because she is obviously reliant on me. I walk her everyday, even make sure to take her on walks off leash in the woods. We just do everything together. When I am older, I don’t want kids, I want dogs :) I am an experienced dog walker. I have house sat three dogs for a week previously. I know all that comes with caring for a dog. I have trained my dogs as well. Pet care is an everyday routine of mine. Coming home to walk my dogs, feed them, etc. My life is never without a dog. I have walked dogs in my neighborhood for my neighbors who don’t have the time. My schedule has always allowed me to be flexible and available. Dogs need you. Therefore, it is important to put them at priority. Some ways I do this would be always making sure the dogs have water. That they don’t feel overlooked. Always making sure they’ve been let out to go potty every half hour to hour. Or when the dogs let me know. Always making sure that they are walked every day. Sometimes twice a day if I’m not doing anything else. And of course, always making sure to play with them!
