My name is Alecia and I am a lifelong animal lover and a mama of 2 (plus my own furbaby - Bailey!) who understands how important it is to know your pets are safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I provide dependable, patient care and will treat your pets like they’re part of my own family. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, cuddling on the couch, or just keeping a familiar routine, I’m happy to tailor my care to their individual personality and needs. I am comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and can provide regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, feeding, medication (if needed), and lots of affection. I’ll also keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages so you can relax knowing your fur child is in good hands. I am currently self employed and work my own hours and schedule however I choose! So I have the flexibility to be available whenever your fur baby needs care! Before each stay or visit, I take time to learn your pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, medications, favorite toys, and any special needs or quirks. In my home, pets receive plenty of love, attention, supervised playtime, and a comfortable, clean environment. I have a fully fenced-in yard where dogs can safely run, play, and enjoy fresh air under my supervision. I also make sure they have plenty of opportunities to rest and feel at home. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as consistent as possible to help them feel safe and comfortable. I’ll provide fresh food and water, walks or playtime, lots of affection (if they enjoy it!), clean up after them, and make sure they receive any medications or special care exactly as instructed. I’ll also send regular photo and text updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away. My goal is to provide dependable, loving care that keeps both pets and their owners comfortable and confident.

I work from home 99% of the time, so my schedule is extremely flexible and I’ll hang out with your pets as long as needed. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have hands on experience for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities! Growing up, my mom trained dogs professionally, which gave me early experience to dog behavior and proper pet care. Throughout high school, I regularly helped care for up to 10 dogs at a time, assisting with daily routines, exercise, feeding, and general care. I also grew up with a cat, and have always loved spending time with cats just as much as dogs. I understand that every pet has their own personality and comfort level, and I strive to make them feel safe and comfortable in yalls home. During college, I worked as a nanny for a family and was responsible for walking and caring for their two Great Danes. This experience gave me great confidence in handling larger breeds, and reminded me how important it is to be consistent and reliable. I bring responsibility, attention to detail, and genuine care to every pet I work with. Whether it’s a walk, a drop in visit, or overnight care, I will treat your pet just like family and provide you with updates, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I work full time Monday through Friday from 8AM-5PM at the Community Mental Health in downtown Traverse City, but have some flexibility. I am available for dog walks and drop in visits for an hour any time between 12PM-2PM during the week. I am available from 5:30PM-11 PM Monday-Friday, and have open availability on Saturdays and Sundays. Your pets safety and comfort are my top priorities. I understand that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with a beloved family member is a big decision, and I take it seriously. When caring for pets in their own home, I strive to keep their normal routine as closely as possible. Whether that means feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication routines, or just spending quality time together, I know that consistency helps pets feel secure and comfortable while their parents are away. I am always respectful of clients’ homes and will always follow care instructions carefully. I pay close attention to detail, keep doors and gates secure, monitor pets, and communicate promptly if any concerns arise. My goal is to give you and your pet a stress free experience and peace of mind that comes from knowing they are being care for by someone dependable, attentive, and genuinely invested in their wellbeing. About: I’ve had my own dog since I was 13, and have always had a dog since. My dog is my baby! One of my favorite pastimes is walking my dogs. I currently have 2 dogs. Fresh water always, lots of love, and good quality food/treats and getting outside for potty breaks are so important to me. I work full time day shift during the week. Weekends and evenings are free for me! I would love to drop in and take care of your pet while your away! Pets like their routines and I am totally respectful of that. About: Hi my name is Gillian! I recently moved to Traverse City, and I am a registered nurse. I have always been a huge dog lover and have had pups all throughout growing up, so I am experienced in caring for these furry creatures whether it is walking, playing with, or just spending time together. I also adopted a husky named Blu, and he is a sweet, playful love bug. He loves playing with other dogs and is very friendly!
