I have had pets of my own for the past 38 years, since I was 12 years old. I also have a degree in biology and chemistry and have worked in animal hospitals and zoos. My husband, Scott, has had pets all his life. We treat our pets with the love and care that family members deserve, and we take our responsibility to them very seriously. Currently, we have a 2 year old black lab who absolutely loves all other animals, and a 14 year old cat who mostly sleeps in quiet, dark places. Our dog, Rosie, is always looking for new friends and is very submissive with them. She just wants to play and snuggle! Our children are grown and help with the care of them. Our house is full of pet lovers! We are very active and love to go for hikes, and we always keep dogs on their leash on the trails. We're happy to take your doggy to the dog park, as well, if you request it. You can have total peace of mind while your pup stays with us! I currently work part time and Scott, my husband, is a teacher and has summers off. I'm home a lot during the entire year, and we're both home on weekends. We have a fenced in backyard for running around and playing fetch. We have a large house and a fenced in yard where our dog, Rosie, loves to run around or playing fetch with us. We regularly go for walks in the neighborhood and hikes in the woods or on the beach. We love to take Rosie to the dog park, but will skip it if you're not comfortable with it.

Stephanie and Scott took terrific care of our senior pup, Luna. They were loving caregivers and clearly did all they could to make Luna comfortable and to love on and play with her. We received multiple updates and photos every day. We are most happy to have found this home away from home for her, and will definitely be bringing her back!
Stephanie and Scott kept our Goldens on an overnight and when we ran late on pickup offered to keep them for another night. Thankful for the offer.
We are so pleased to have had Stephanie stay with Sophie, our silver lab, while we traveled overseas. She was so thoughtful with her care and shared daily updates. We were able to have a wonderful trip knowing Sophie was being taken care of so well. We definitely will be asking Stephanie to care for Sophie in the future! She is amazing!!

Schedule
Scott is a teacher and has weekends and all summer free. Stephanie works part time, mostly from home and is at home most of the time during the week and is also available weekends.

We have a large fenced yard and a wonderful Labrador retriever to keep your fur baby happy! We love giving dogs love and attention! We also love to take walks if that is something your dog enjoys.

A typical day
We love to play fetch, hide and go seek, and other fun games with dogs! We have a box full of dog toys, but you are welcome to bring your dog's favorites along.
