About: I've rescued 5 dogs over the last 16 years. I'm most familiar with bully breeds, Boxer, Jack Russel, Miniature Poodle, and the Bichon Frise. I also fostered a Rottweiler. I'm passionate about "adopt don't shop" when it comes to rescuing animals. I am familiar with behavioral issues such as separation anxiety, reactivity, and poor leash walking behaviors. I've worked with trainers using positive reinforcement techniques to address these. I love the outdoors and will take your pups to the park, beach and wooded trails. I have also taken my dogs camping and kayaking! I don't have as much experience with cats, but I grew up with cats and am familiar with them. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your pet family members! My schedule is very flexible right now. I only need 3 days' notice for my services. I can care for your pet daily or weekly as needed. My dogs are walked 3-4 times per day since I don't have fencing. They have free range in our home while away, but are crated at night for sleeping. Both of my dogs take medications for separation anxiety and allergies, so I am familiar with administering medications. Our dogs eat twice daily and get lots of snuggling or play time at in the evening after work and on weekends.

About: I’ve had my own dog since I was 13, and have always had a dog since. My dog is my baby! One of my favorite pastimes is walking my dogs. I currently have 2 dogs. Fresh water always, lots of love, and good quality food/treats and getting outside for potty breaks are so important to me. I work full time day shift during the week. Weekends and evenings are free for me! I would love to drop in and take care of your pet while your away! Pets like their routines and I am totally respectful of that. I can accommodate their particular needs to keep them safe, happy and well cared for!

About: I have always had a huge soft spot for animals as do my kids . I am currently renting and am unable to board animals at my home . I do have a full time job in the medical field during the weekdays, but I am available to walk or play with your pet after 5 pm weekdays and open availability on weekends. Unable to board pets at my home at this time . I am open to house sitting , I do have a 9 year old child who lives with me every other week .

About: Hi my name is Gillian! I recently moved to Traverse City, and I am a registered nurse. I have always been a huge dog lover and have had pups all throughout growing up, so I am experienced in caring for these furry creatures whether it is walking, playing with, or just spending time together. I also adopted a husky named Blu, and he is a sweet, playful love bug. He loves playing with other dogs and is very friendly! I also understand that some dogs can be nervous or anxious when their people are away, so I’m happy to take the time to let them get comfortable with me at their own pace. I’m also happy to send pictures and updates along the way, because I know how reassuring it is to see that your pup is happy, safe, and being well cared for while you’re away! 🐶🐾 I work full time in the Cadillac area Monday through Friday, so weekday pet care is planned around my work schedule. I’m generally available before and after work during the week, with much more flexibility in the evenings and on weekends. For house sitting bookings, I stay overnight in your home with your pets so they can remain comfortable in their own environment and stick as closely as possible to their normal routine. On workdays, I’ll be away during my normal working hours but will be there before and after work and overnight. Depending on your location and my workday, I may also be able to stop in during the day. I’m always upfront about my schedule before accepting a booking and only take stays that are a good fit for both my availability and your pet’s needs. I’m happy to go over your pet’s normal routine ahead of time so we can make sure the schedule works well for everyone. 🐾 Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I know how much trust it takes to welcome someone into your home and leave your pets in their care, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine and any instructions you leave as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, medications, crate routines, and household rules. I’m mindful about keeping doors, gates, leashes, and other areas secure and will never put your pet in an unfamiliar or potentially unsafe situation without your permission. I’ll also treat your home with the same respect I would want someone to show mine. While you’re away, I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pets are safe, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention. If I ever have a question or notice something out of the ordinary, I’ll always communicate with you rather than assume. 🐾

About: I love dogs more than humans and would treat your dog like my own. I am very active and enjoy going for several walks throughout the day. I also am working part time so I always be available and accommodating for any special requests/needs. I am also a nurse and am familiar with giving medications and would feel comfortable doing so for your pup if needed. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play with your pups and take them for long walks. I live by several trails that I take my own pup to often. I own my own house and have a large backyard with a dog run. There are also several trails near by that I’d love to take your dog to!
