I am new to the Rover experience and had to leave my 13-week old puppy and was nervous about leaving. About: I’ve had my own dog since I was 13, and have always had a dog since. My dog is my baby! One of my favorite pastimes is walking my dogs. I currently have 2 dogs. Fresh water always, lots of love, and good quality food/treats and getting outside for potty breaks are so important to me. I work full time day shift during the week. Weekends and evenings are free for me! I would love to drop in and take care of your pet while your away! Pets like their routines and I am totally respectful of that. About: I worked in a vet clinic during college and I studied animal science for a year and a half. I had cats growing up and hope to get a dog one day soon! We have 2 young kids right now, so we are not ready to own our own pet just yet. I am great with training and have trained my friends’ dogs and my cats. Both cats that I most recently lived with knew “up” and know how to sit on command. I am a teacher during the school year and home during the summer. I am free all summer except a trip here and there. I try to keep my calendar as updated as possible, but you can always reach out and ask! About: I have grown up with both cats and dogs, and then when I was able to I had two large breeds of my own for many years. Currently, we have a 2-yr old Bernese mountain dog and an older cat at home. I’m a teacher with a very open availability during summer and would love to fill it with taking care of your dogs - any breed but happy to provide confidence for high energy larger breeds. I’m a full time teacher, so while weekdays do work, it would need to be around that sort of schedule during the school year. I can provide short term care on weekdays and more intensive care on weekends. During summer months I am wide open to provide care as needed. About: I’m more than a dog sitter 😁 if you want someone who will play, walk, and entertain your dog, you’ve found your match! I’m the dog mom who does everything with her dogs. I have 3of my own large breed dogs, and fostered 12 others with my husband and enjoyed every moment of it! Most of them were under the age of 1 year old, so we did all the potty training, crate training, and basic commands. I exposed them to different environments, other dogs, and taught them a lot during their time with us which was anywhere from a month to 4 months. Throughout high school and college I worked at a doggy day care, that cared for both cats and dogs, either for day visits or overnight stays.
