About: I’ve been dog-obsessed since I was young. After losing my 9-year-old Cane Corso, Ella, last year, I’m not quite ready to get another dog of my own - but I’d love to give that same care and attention to yours! Dogs are our family, and I will always treat them that way. Whether it’s walks, check ins, or overnight stays, your dog will get plenty of attention, affection, and playtime. If they stay with me, couch privileges (and even the bed!) are always welcome if that’s part of their normal routine. I’ve owned and cared for a variety of breeds, including a Golden Retriever, Dalmatian, Chocolate Lab, and Cane Corso, and I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos so you know your dog is happy and well cared for while you’re away. I understand how important a dog’s normal routine is, so I will follow your guidance to ensure they feel comfortable and at home with me. I normally work overnights, but have plenty of flexibility in my daily routine and weekends off to keep you updated on your pet’s visit while you are away. I have access to a large outdoor space for leashed activity, as well as a safe walking path for long walks in my neighborhood. I live about 15 minutes from an outdoor trail for additional leashed walks, but if your dog prefers off-leash, I’m only 10 minutes from a dog park (I’ve never seen it too busy, so they’ll normally have free reign!)

About: I have been in the animal care field for over 18 years (over 30 years if you include growing up on a farm). My paid animal care experience is as a zookeeper and curator at AZA accredited organizations. I also have many years as a volunteer for several wildlife rehabs and conservation organizations and projects. Most petsitting requests are for cats and dogs but I am also confident handling reptiles, livestock, parrots, and more. About: I’ve taken care of both cats and dogs all ranging from bigger dogs like Great Danes to smaller ones like chihuahuas. I’ve also taken care of cats and multiple kittens, and administered medication to cats as well I’m currently working part time at uhaul so I’ll have plenty of time to play and keep your fur babies occupied while you’re away :) In my home I have a fenced yard and my two cats are indoor cats.
